“Enormous helpings ”
Reviewed June 5, 2014 via mobile

Went there for lunch and was overwhelmed by the size of the helpings. You could order one dish and feed two people quite easily. Good friendly service. Food was excellent and not too expensive for the city. Definitely recommended

“Wonderful little Italian restaurant”
Reviewed June 4, 2014

Unlike most of BA's restaurants, this one is open all day long, so you can enjoy a meal or dinner at the unearthly hour of six or seven in the evening - and the dinners are actually quite good - we had a nice mixed salad together with a plate of absolutely spectacular fried calamari rings, and a great pasta of spaghetti puttanesca plus a milanese de pollo con papas fritas- not too heavy but very tasty. A good bodegas san huberto roble malbec rounded this all out and the restaurant offered 2 limoncellos as a final libation - a great evening with pretty good food.

“Doesn't look like much but good food”
Reviewed May 22, 2014

We went to Broccolino as a suggestion from a friend and on arrival we thought to move on somewhere else. However the place was busy and so many people couldn't be wrong. We had the Fried Calamari which was excellent. Ask for some Pomodorro sauce to go with it by the way. After I had the Milanese with some Alfredo pasta. Enjoyed the evening. It had some life to the place and well worth the visit.

“Better quality and portion than you'd expect for the price”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

I took a group of 13 college students and we each ordered something different. Everyone was beyond satisfied; most said they will return. The bread basket was very good itself; flatbread, bruschetta, and garlic cheese rolls seemed unlimited. The house wine (Malbec or Syrah) is decent for under $80 ARG ($8-12 US). I had the hake in lemon caper sauce with mixed vegetables. I didn't expect much fish for the price ($119 ARG), but the waiter returned with three generous filets and a pile of well-prepared veggies (broccoli, zucchini, snap peas, and carrots). The fish was very, very good. I shared with some students who, according to them, don't like fish and they liked the hake. One student ordered the flan with dulce de leche and she and the friend with whom she was sharing were very delighted. Overall, very good for the price!

“Disappointing”
Reviewed April 28, 2014

Went to the restaurant tonight based on the good reviews. We were a party of four. The brads are amazing and very fresh which gave us good hope about the food. I ordered a Capeletti de Cervo with Alfredo Sauce (99 pesos) with high hopes and it was terrible. Clearely not fresh, so as the alfredo sauce, tasted like microwaved food from yesterday. The other two dishes were stake a milanesa with french fries (110 pesos each) and both were just ok. My girl ordered a Chorizo Steak (179 pesos) and it was by far the best dish, not what you expect from a italian restaurant. The beer (Quilmes 650ml) costs 50 pesos each, overpriced but it came at the perfect temperature. End of the night: 800 pesos and disappointment.
