Owner description: Located in the Abasto Shopping Center, this kids’ museum offers everything from miniature versions of Buenos Aires landmarks to an up-close-and-personal look at how businesses (gas stations, doctor’s and dentist’s offices, TV and radio stations) function. Best of all, they get to try careers on for (mini) size while they’re here.

“Great interactive opportunity for kids”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

Our just turned six year old daughter has spent two afternoons at the museum over the past couple of weeks and greatly enjoyed it. There are lots of interactive stations that really grab children's attention. Most resemble some aspect of adult life from TV broadcasting, dentistry, piloting a plane, to shopping in a supermarket. There are also some activities that allow them to crawl in and around that is good for burning off energy. It is easy for them to stay entertained for several hours. A nice advantage is that you can also go in and out the same day, so if you want to spend a couple of hours, go out for lunch and then come back in, that is possible. It's in a department store for those who want to combine the visit with shopping, and is connected with the subway making access cheap and easy. Well worth the entrance cost.

“Great fun!”
Reviewed December 21, 2013

We came here based upon Trip Advisor reviews and given how hot it was outside, this was a respite from the heat. Reasonably priced at$180 pesos for a family of 4, the kids had a chance to blow off some steam and cool down from the outside heat. There are 2 floors of fun for the kids featuring a kids sized McDonalds, bank, supermarket, airplane, mini soccer field, radio station, tv station, doctor and dentists office and a candy themed tree house. It is well laid out and well staffed. The kids thought it was great fun (ages 6&9) and even though it was all in Spanish it was no problem. I would recommend this highly.

“Fantastic place for an afternoon”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

This is the best kids' museum I have ever been to. Located in a mall in Abasto, only open from 13:00. Easy to get to by taxi. Kids can pretend to be a crane operator, a dentist, a newsreader, a bank teller...all hands on and all so much fun. Separate play area for babies. Do not need to know Spanish to enjoy. Go on a weekday as soon as they open to avoid crowds. Allow 2-3 hours.

“Well designed museum in huge shopping mall”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

Even if it's crowded, this museum has enough 'stuff' to entertain a lot of kids....some of it is culturally weird, like a mock-mcdonalds, and other parts so sweet, like the 'maternity ward' exhibit.

It's in a huge beautiful shopping mall - and there are hordes of people and kind of sensory over-load. But, my kids loved it. We went on a rainy vacation day - so probably the most crowded day of the year, and somehow my kids were never waiting to do anything. That is well designed.

“one of the best kids museum of the world.”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

Never been in a museum like that. Shows children the way a city function, from the pipes, to the institutions, the police, the bank, the supermarket. A place where they learn how to be a citizen.
