Expensive, really awful coffee and dubious decor (unless you like caricatures of 'negros' and lots of kitsch).

Great place. I felt like I had gone back in time to a cafe in east Germany (except without the stasi etc.).
I had a mid afternoon coffee and pastry. Friendly waiters, music from the 1930 and architecture and ambience that has been lost for decades in most western countries.
Ask for Jorgito - he'll take care of you.

We have just been back from this restaurant ,the show was two couple dancing to tango and milonga music ,they change costume three times and as I can tell their skill was very high .It was a beautiful presentation of tango in a very small stage .The Tango singer has the best vocal I've seen ,he's taking turn between the dancing ,the whole thing lasted 1 1/2 hr,and yes the food was not up to par with the show but you don't have to eat ,just order drinks or desert ,that's the only reason for 4 stars, still highly recommend .

Thank Steve P

Four of us signed up for their "tango show" for Sunday afternoon. The charge was US $65 per person which seemed reasonable including lunch. The food was terrible and the "show" had no dancing at all. It was a small band and a rotten singer.
