It is a small hotel, so they can not offer all the services that big ones use to, but rooms are modern and nice. The management always try their best to help you. Ambient is warm and you feel confortable. Neighbourhood is fantastic, plenty of posibilities for food and drink.

We stayed at the lovely and personal Glu this past March for 5 nights. This is a small family run, personal hotel. We absolutely fell in love and have been trying to find other places like it in our travel to Scandinavia this summer. We travel all over the world so this review comes from experience in boutique hotels and frequent travelers. We arrived at the Glu after 17 days in Argentina. We experienced some food poisoning in the Salta area in the NW town of Salta and after that multi-day ordeal, we flew to El Calafate in Southern Patagonia, then flew to the central-east region of the Peninsula Valdez and finally we spent our final 5 days in BA at the Glu. It had been a good but at tires trying trip, but it was like a ray of sunshine when we arrive at the Glu. Other's the written like an Oasis, very true!

The location couldn't be more convenient in the swank Palermo area of BA easy for transportation and many restaurants everywhere!

Alejandra greeted us in the intimate lobby, gave us water and made us comfortable. She sat with us and explained that breakfast was brought to our room!!! We could change our order everyday if we chose! How fabulous is that? She explained everything else about the hotel as well. At this point, we mentioned that we were worried about our car rental when we left the Peninsula Valdez that morning very early. We had a flight at 6:00AM that morning and we had to leave our rental car in the hands of another rental car company there because our agent, who was to meet us there was a no-show. Of course we were very worried if our agent had eventually received possession of the car. Alejandra immediately said, I will take care of this!!! A few hours later, she informed us that she made the calls and confirmed to us that the agent had the car. Not only that, she negotiated on our behalf without being asked and the agent gave us a discount because she had failed to show up to take the car when we left. Noting like an Argentinian taking over and resolving a situation, but this was way above what we ever expected. Alejandra is amazing but so are the other lovely people at the desk Carolina and Diego.

Our room was fabulous, the bed the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The bathroom was huge and the multi-head shower had water flow that was totally amazing! Like being in a lovely water fall. If I had to make any slightly minor remark it might be that the view from our balcony was looking at a wall because the room was on a low floor. We had to look up past the wall to see the sky etc. Since we spent little time in the room, even this was fine by us.

The owner Gerta, was also the most gracious lady you could ever meet. Like an Argentinian Southern Belle. Her presence and warmth made us feel very much at home on multiple occasions. She knows what the word hospitality means!! She truly made us want to return to BA just to visit her. I'm sure we will. Thank you to all of the staff at the Glu! We miss you!!!!!!!

Great accommodation, rooms are sufficient and clean.
Friendly and very helpful staff! Thankyou!
All front desk staff have good english which made it much easier for us!
Location is amongst many bars, restaurants, shops and has a great vibe.
Easy walking and easy to take Taxi or public transport to Recoleta, San Telmo, La Boca
We stayed 7 nights and returned for a futher 3 nights. We stayed in the GLAM suite with our 17 year old daughter and accomodated us no problems.
Definitley reccommend this accommodtion.
Buenos Aires city is very easy to get around and i had debated which area to stay in for a while. Now that we have been we were very happy with Palermo!
We had organised before going to Buenos Aires for a local guy to take us on tours for 3 days. If we had not done this i am not sure if/what the Hotel would have reccommended to do. There is no information if you are a tourist in the suites or reception. Other than tourist map.

Room Tip: 103 back of the hotel away from the street. 201 is on the street. We peferred this one. More natural light comes in the room & balcony

The Glu Hotel is a small, boutique hotel located in the Palermo area, near great restaurants, bars, stores, etc. We decided to stay there based on the evaluations here and it was the best decision. I've been to Buenos Aires three times before and I will stay at the Glu every time I get back there. The location is absolutely great, you can do almost anything on foot. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the shower is great. The bed is incredibly comfortable (I have three herniated discs, it's not easy to find a nice bed out there). They serve the breakfast in your room, which is very nice. You just pick the phone, call the front desk and order whatever you want and it will be there in 10 - 15 minutes.
But the best thing about the hotel is the service. The staff is absolutely great - in special Alejandra, the first person we met there. She was absolutely thorough in her explanations and suggestions and extremely helpful. They were ready to help you no matter the time or what you needed. I felt at home. It was worth it every cent.

Room Tip: the ones in the back are quieter

Located in yuppy section of BA, walking distance to organic restaurants, shopping, local Tango club, etc. The personal, willing, knowledgeable, help from Alexandra and buddies is extraordinary. Room, shower, are new and unusually large for price & location. Compare to Europe. Breakfast in bed the topper.....
