“Standard Argentine kitchen done well”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2012 via mobile

I ate grilled kidneys followed by a fillet of beef and a green salad, washed down with a half bottle of decent Malbec. All fine. I was a little Lost In Translation over the menu, the kidneys failing to arrive, but it was my fault not the waiter's. The ambience is fine, full of local people because this is one of the less expensive restaurants on Puerto Madero. It also has free, fast wifi so if you are alone, as I was, you can play around on the Ipad to amuse yourself. Or if you are with a boring partner......but let's not go down that path. Recommended
Ps price ? 350 pesos, around $90 at the official exchange rates which are of course totally overvalued. Argentinia has economic problems, to be polite.

“Great location, average food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

We stumbled into this restaurant while looking for the boat launches. They were very friendly and served us quickly. I probably ordered the wrong thing; it was pasta and it wasn't al dente. No big deal, but just not my best meal in Buenos Aires....

“Wonderful Food and Nice Place with the Full Argentinian Feeling”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

Excellent place to dine in a casual or formal ambience. Huge restaurant , wonderful menu and extraordinary wines.
The Bife de Chorizo is a must. Its my favorite cut, very tender and even more the juicy flavor. If you want to taste more then one meat cut you can ask for a combination which is wonderful in order to try different cuts and live the experience.

“Parrilla? Meat? Puerto Madero? This is it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2012

You'll find hundreds of Parrillas in Buenos Aires, off course. If you are in Puerto Madero and to enjoy the evening by the river this is a great place to have a very big pice of a great cut of meat.
It's always too much food, try not to go solo. Pricey, all Puerto Madero is.

“Great place to eat in Puerto Madero”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2012

We ate at El Mirasol in August 2012 during a stay in Buenos Aires and enjoyed it thoroughly. We've eaten at many fine restaurants in the city and there is lots of good food to be found, but we would definitely come to El Mirasol again. Puerto Madero is a "must do" stop in any visit to Buenos Aires and you probably won't find a better place to eat. Excellent steaks and wine, but full many with a variety of selections.
