“Unfriendly experience with the staff..”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

The king size bed was nothing but two single beds with two single mattresses pushed together which gave me back pain and resulted in waking up during the night to push the two beds together which kept separating.. when I confronted the woman at the reception with my discomfort hoping they would at least get a big mattress and put it on the two beds pushed to one another I got an answer of "but it is a king size" this is what you asked for and what you got without any concern, solution or apology. Knowing that I paid for a superior residence.
the area is close to puerto madero but the hotel it self is in a street that looks dangerous.
On the website while booking it said the room had a "patio" of course that's nothing but the patio of the hotel which nothing special for the room.

We stayed at this hotel in 2 separate occasions, once for 10 days and the second time for 3 weeks. We loved it every time and we will stay there next time!!!
We loved the whole staff...they were so nice and helpful.
We love the medialunas...the best!!!

Only negative comment, the carpet needs some deep cleaning.

Room Tip: The rooms with street view are larger and not noisy at all.

Good location and really friendly staff, but there were a couple of drawbacks:
- The shuttle to the domestic airport was pretty expensive compared to the price we got in the end from a local remis company called Manuel Tienda Leon ( AR$130 vs AR$230)
- The Hotel had an event one of the nights in the patio and the music could be heard all over the place until 1AM. It was a bit annoying as we had to get up early the following morning

The swimming pool and the breakfast were great, and they kept the bags for us the last day also.

We enjoyed staying in this hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are small, bath rooms as well. The restaurant is very good with friendly service, good breakfast and dinner. The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to the center of the city. Nevertheless, there is nothing of city noise in the rooms. Transportation from and to the airport is reliably organized (even in advance by internet). We stayed twice and would any time return if visiting Buenos Aires again.

I have stayed here only one night, on a visit to a customer. It was booked with only a few days of anticipation, this place was one of the few hotels near Puerto Madero that had available rooms at a reasonable price (USD 120). I got a superior room (#208), sucessfully booked via Expedia.

Cons
- A few maintenance problems here and there
- Arrived at 23:30, the front door was locked, nobody was at the reception and there was no way to call anyone... I had to spend some minutes in an uninviting dark street until someone showed up, apologizing because he was "serving another guest"
- Low-quality toilet paper
- Functional but cheap shower
- Tiny (wallet-size) safe
- Uninpressive room service and uninpressive swimming pool

Pros
- Good internet
- Good king-sze bed, pillows are old but OK
- Hot water
- Elevator
- Friendly staff, both in the reception and breakfast
- Near downtown (if that's what you're looking for) and good restaurants
- Mini-bar
- No street noise

Room Tip: Try to ask for a room that faces the swimming pool, no street noise here

Compact but stylish hotel in the bohemian barrio of San Telmo. 2 blocks from the Plaza Dorrego with its cafe, bars and tango displays. It serves a good continental breakfast is staffed by efficient and charming staff. My single room was small - especially the bathroom - but spotless and quiet. Beds comfortable. Good value. I would come back and/or recommend to friends.
