I went with friends to a house, where we had to ring the doorbell and be escorted through a normal home to have the most amazing dining experience ever. This wonderful, intimate dining location was such a unique way to have dinner; it's one for the books. The food was one of a kind, full of flavor and imagination. If you are wondering where to book a nice dinner to impress friends, or a romantic party for 2, please, please, please make a reservation and come to cocina discreta.

Very original concept where the setting is catered for small groups in order to accommodate Chef's/waiter/waitress attention for questions, etc.. Very original with meal selection and desert concept (lighted headphones): Liked that.......

After reading reviews and searching for a Private Buenos Aires dinner, we took the plunge and booked a visit. We are two couples that have travelled a good part of the world looking for food and wine experiences. This was certainly at the top of the list.
First the place. A little hard to find, but our Uber driver persevered, even calling to get the final directions. Up a long staircase into what looks like a cross between a cafe lounge and a large living/dining room. Greeted by a team, very good English, way better than our collective Spanish.

The Service: Perfectly timed, explained and presented. Limited wine list but excellent pairings with the food. Not rushed, yet very attentive.

The Food: WOW. 7 course tasting menu. every item a work of art and outstanding flavours. Perfect size of plates, allowing for more food to come and be appreciated. One of the best tasting menus we have ever experienced.

The Chef: Ale Langer, was shy, his English good, but he was not comfortable speaking. He was more comfortable with the kitchen and he has mastered that!

Overall an outstanding evening, one that will be well remembered

If you don’t mind going off the beaten path this is a neat place to have dinner. They have a set 7 course tasting menu. Eacg of the 7 courses was artistically presented and all were really tasty. Our only complaint was the seating, the chairs and tables were too low for the tall folks. A Sofa was provided for seating for two of our group. It was too low and didn’t provide enough back support for a long evening of dining.
