I cannot describe how bad it was. The girl on the reception desk was the only pleasant thing about it. She was very friendly and welcoming, but once we were shown to the table the rest of the staff were terrible. They were so rude to us and had a lot of attitude. The food was then awful and we didn't even finish our main courses.

We were recommended this restaurant by friends, so I'm hoping they don't ask me what I thought. Or that I got the wrong restaurant. I really would advise that you don't bother.

Only nice thing about it is the setting as it's right on the river front, so sitting outside is lovely. There are lots of other places on the Puerto Madero strip though, so I would go to one of the others instead.

If you want good Italian food in BsAs, then go to Crizia in Palermo Hollywood.

It was a rainy Monday evening and only our second night in BA. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who said it was worth a visit, it wasn't !

The only good part of the experience was the hostess who showed us to our table, from then on it all went downhill. Firstly the food is horrendous, we all ordered pasta and not one dish turned out right, the portions were way too big and look like a mesh on our plates, the service was shockingly rude and even though I had left most of my meal the waiter did not ask why but instead insisted on reminding us that service was not included, what service?
Overpriced and way overrated, a total tourist trap of a restaurant which leaves you with a daunting sense of the city especially on your second night.

Sunday lunch 12:30, nobody there. By 2:00 the place was full. Service was attentive without being Argentine pushy. Salad with fresh mozarella and sweet tasting tomatoes; oysters on the half shell, very fresh - grilled grouper on a bed of pasta was excellent, tender, and very moist for grilled fish. The Brochette de mariscos has us perplexed -- how can you cook a skewer of such a variety of fish and seafood and have each piece come out perfectly cooked?
Entrees about $25US each with good wine list.
We enjoyed the table outside with view of the private boats and the people passing by.

We had just finished a long walk around Buenos Aires and as we were walking down the Puerto Madero we saw the Puerto Sorrento. As it was way too early by Buenos Aires standards we decided to have a late lunch.
The pasta's we had were excellent along with appetizers.
While enjoying a fine coffee con leche the waiter came with the bill and reminded us TIP WAS NOT INCLUDED!!
If management reads this please inform your wait staff that gratuity is contingent on service given along with the discretion of the customer and is not a right!

In retrospect I should have asked for management to come over and sort it out there at the table which I will do the next time that happens.

Otherwise food was good view from patio great but the demand for a tip soured the milk.

We tried this restaurant for lunch on our first visit to BA and were so impressed with the food and service - we returned for dinner 10 days later. Located on the waterfront in Puerto Madero, the restaurant has an extensive menu catering for all tastes (including non-meat eaters). The service was impeccable. This is great place to enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner.
