Description: In 1997 Morelia born as a new dining experience, one of the most delicious pizza recipes that could prove far, merging two Argentine rooted traditions, such as pizza and grill with characteristic rectangular shape and crispy mass end what began as an innovative approach with the passage of time and public acceptance Buenos Aires became a classic. We pioneered settle in two of the most important gastronomic centers of Buenos Aires, as we are The straws and Palermo Hollywood and in the spring of 2009, we opened our store in north, La Lucila, on traditional Av Del Libertador. The architectural concept is similar Culinary Morelia; the origins of old houses are respected and the environmental with a warm and innovative spirit at a time ... Always betting on the quality of our products, we use the best natural ingredients to achieve a balance in which concepts such as healthy, appetizing and delicious, are not mutually exclusive. Morelia offers a menu for all tastes; from classic pizzas, pies, cupcakes and calzones, renovated to a variety of homemade pastas and salads. Among the chef's suggestions, you can taste interesting international dishes, complementing our traditional menu, which is constantly renewed. Finally, we can not forget our delicious desserts like blackberry pie, the marquisse chocolate passion fruit, apple and delight the chocolate lava cake, to name a few.

The thin crust grilled pizza is delicious and the service was warm and welcoming (we went to the Las Canitas location)....

“Best grilled Pizza in Buenos Aires”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2011

I will echo some of the other comments on the fact that this place deserves a far better rating than it gets on this site. The grilled pizza is the best in town, ingredient quality is very good, ambiance and crowd is top notch.... its trendy... what else do you want. For me, this place is a must visit for the under 40 visitor to Buenos Aires, but will also be a good place for a true Pizza lover, regardless of your demographics. Empanadas are also excellent. Dont miss out on a visit next time you are in town...

“Should Be Much Higher Rated”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2011

I'be been eating here for 3 years. Simply, it is one of BAs most reliable restaurants for standout pizza and pasta. I like these so much I haven't yet tried the meat dishes. Both are the best I've had in BA--by far.

This place should not be missed!

“Safe bet - can't go wrong.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2010

After not being in Buenos Aires in about a year, my partner and I decided we would have dinner at Morelia. We had always enjoyed going there before and found the food good, a great value and a safe bet. Well it has not changed a year later.
After coming off a 10 hour flight we wanted something that was not too high end but nice and relaxing. The hostess was so charming and sweet - our waiter was good. We sat outside (which will be a little slower only because you are sitting on the side walk - so if you would prefer faster attention sit inside).
We ordered a salad, a beef tenderloin and a thin crusted pizza to share between the two of us. All were perfect!
The place is not crazy busy with stressed out waiters/waitresses - the people that go there are relaxed - good spot to just feel comfortable and unwind after a 10 hour flight!

Please note that they don't accept credit cards - this was told to us a year ago and again this time - however I might had miss understood and as the hostess said their DEBIT card reader did not work.

“No frill, just plain good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2009

Ate there at least twice a week for a whole month, the "pizza a la parrilla" -thin crust pizza - is wonderful, the tenderloin as good as anywhere else for less money, other dishes equally good. Good wine list, ok service. Great value place.
