“Blue blue sea and calming relaxation”
Reviewed September 15, 2010

Great place if you want to relax, swim in blue and salty sea, get sunbath.

Food was very good and plenty of it. There were three pools and one small aqua park. Very silent place of Bodrum.

We had a standard sea view room. Unfortunately first day we could not make it, as all sea view rooms were reserved and we were moved to land view room, but after we had a wonderful sea view room.

Staff is good and always happy to help. Italian restaurant was very good, I really liked the food and service.

I'd love to go next year there as one week is not enough to enjoy such a beautiful place.

We stayed late August until early September and though the hotel was lovely, it has great scenery and facilities, we did find the food rather disappointing.
It made us both feel quite ill a couple of times, there was a large variety of food and though we are both picky eaters (a vegetarian and a very non-vegetarian) we found ourselves with a limited choice of what we could eat, and what we could eat was greasy or oily and we ended up eating the same thing nearly every evening.
Another thing that we found to be slightly annoying is that we came for a quiet break. One of the pools has music, bar and pool games which we tried to avoid but the music was incredibly loud and could be heard over at the 'quiet pool'.
But on a plus side, the hotel was great; the staff are more than helpful and the place was always immaculate.
Would only recommend it for those who have an iron constitution or are happy to try any kind of food.

My 18 years old daughter and I spent a wonderful holiday here, for 11 days (26.08 - 05.09.2010)
I will start with cleanliness of rooms, our towels were changed every day, the sheets at 2-3 days
The food was plenty and a lot of variety, especially fruits
The animation team is extraordinary - we had all days full of animation, starting with 10 am untill 23 pm - thank you Veronica, Irina, Cheff, Momo, Zikou, Roastbeaf, Choccolatino - you are fantastic, hope to see you next yearwhat can i say more than - go to Delta Beach for your best holiday

What a fantastic hotel! We have been to Turkey quite a few times and normally stay in more basic accommodation, but this was definately worth paying a little bit extra for! Although other people's reviews seem to have a few slight niggles, we could not complain about one thing! The bedroom we had which was near the reception area was lovely and spacious, modern and quiet! It had a large fridge, flat screen TV, (although not many English programmes), free safe and air conditioning, a lovely big bathroom with hair dryer and toiletries and clean towels every day. All of the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. The food was fantastic while we were there and there was definately something for everyone. The animation team - Momo, Zeiko, Chocalatino, Roast Beef, Shakira, Orla and Veronica who was the choreographer for all of the shows were second to none! What fab entertainers and dancers they were - well worth watching every night. We stayed on the decking area by the sea most days and we always had sunbeds and shade. Memmet the beach/towel man always made sure you got one! The sea was beautiful - calm and clear and you could see various fish swimming around you! The slides were on twice a day from 10.00am until 12.00 and then from 2.00 until 4.00pm and were great fun. Yalikavak centre was about a 20 min walk along the promenade which was a lovely walk, but you could also use the hotel shuttle bus, a taxi or a local dolmus which you could catch just down the road. From Yalikavak bus station you could get a bus to numerous resorts around the Bodum peninsular and Bodrum itself is well worth a visit for the market and shops.
A couple of things I would say though is I wouldn't advise anybody to go if they have difficulty in walking, as there are quite a few levels/stairs/lifts etc. and also don't go if you want a really energetic night life.
We had a fabulous holiday and wish we were still there! The hotel was also awarded 5 stars while we were there and they most definately deserved it.

We travelled to Delta Beach between 14th-24th August, and wer a little unsure of what to expect from the reviews we had read (we travelled with Thomas Cook and even they don't sell it particularly well in the brochure!). After honeymooning in 5* luxury last year, it would be tough for anything to compare!
After an evening flight we arrived at Bodrum Airport. Our transfer to the hotel was a little daunting as we had to change from a small coach to a taxi: the roads were quite narrow and fairly steep, however speaking to others they managed to get to the hotel on a minibus-it was just an unexpected event. On arriving at the hotel we received a warm welcome from reception and were whisked to our room by the porter. Our room was in the block with reception (I think other rooms around the hotel differ). Our room was lovely and modern, well decorated, with free air-conditioning and safe, and the view from our balcony was beautiful. There were a few minor issues: our balcony had a pool of water which we believe as from an overflowing pipe, our shower tray leaked (but wasn't a real issue provided you put the shower mat down when showering), and our air-conditioning dripped occasionally. Over the week it was kept adequately clean and tidy, with new towels daily. The pools and 'beach' are lovely. We never sat around the 'loud' pool (this is where all the daytime entertainment happens), but think this was the only place that you needed to be up early to get a sunbed. The 'quiet' pool was well kept, with a beautiful view. We sometimes strolled down at lunchtime and still managed to get a bed, however if you do want a sun shade you may need to get there early, howver there is ample shade around the pool. The beach was lovely: a massive decked area with laddered entrance to the sea, or a shelving shingle entrance in the middle. Around the outside are showers to wash yourself down with too. There is a jetty, and two floating docks which are an added bonus!
The food and service in th emain buffet restaurant is the only thing that we could really find fault with, having said the food and service in the a la carte restaurants is excellent! At only 10 lira each (£5) the food and service is outstanding,,,well worth paying extra for! The food is fine. What they do serve is good quality, tasty food. There is a mix of foods, and my husband is rather fussy and he still managed! However, on some days there is a limited choice and other days ther is ample choice. It can get quite repetitive. Although I should imagine there being enough choice to suit everyone's needs. Lunch is all very similar, however you have the choice between the main restaurant or the beach snack bar, where they serve burgers, chips, salad, etc. In terms of service in the restaurant we were disappointed. Depending on where you sat and which waiter you had depended on the service you received. Some waiters provide you with excellent service, getting cutlery and filing your drinks, yet some struggle to clear your plates. They do eventually get drinks and cutlery when asked, however sometimes it is just easier to get your own! This I have to say was the only negative I could find with the hotel!
The entertainment team work hard to provide daytime and evening entertainment, however be advised they have Sundays off.
I really would recommending walking to Yakilivak. I initially was too lazy, as I thought it would be a long walk. It does take about 20minutes, however, get passed the cobbled streets and it is a lovely walk with a fantastic view! There bars, restaurants and little shops. Well worth a visit!
When we visited there weren't that many British (not saying that's a bad thing), there were lots of French, Dutch and lots of Eastern European. They are mostly friendly, however you have to remember they are from a different culture. They don't queue, and the odd few hate smiling or interacting with anyone else. Most are pleasant though!
All-in-all, I would say you get good value for money at Delta Beach. If you're after an away from it all holiday then go to Delta Beach!

We stayed at this resort from July 24th until August 8th, and apart from rotten flight times, it was the best holiday!! We all would love to return to the Delta Beach. Food was very good and plentiful, overseen by Chef , Yuri, and Catering Manager Levent, and various other staff, at ALL times. How on earth can Levent work all day and then stay up half the night, in meetings. He seemed to be everywhere at once!!
The waiters were wonderful, constantly helping and clearing. Pool area kept spotless, bars open all day, coffee and cake at 4 pm and the kids LOVED the entertainment staff. The boys, MOMO, Roast Beef and Choclatino (and all the rest of them) were constantly on the go,how did they work all the hours that they did and STILL run the disco till 2,30 am???
There was cleaning going on in all areas, ALL DAY!!
The rooms were lovely, three pools, and the staff, WELL, they were OUTSTANDING!!!
The area appeared to be a bit out of the way, but an exciting trip by Dolmas, brought you to Yalikavak!! A trip on a typical Turkish Gullet, is a must!!

spent two weeks at the delta and enjoyed every day . The staff are only intrested in giving first class service and do this in every asspect from the bar and restaurent staff to the towel man and chamber maids nothing is too much trouble.
The resort it's self is about a 20 min walk out of the village centre but in 35 dec heat this is a little too far but the reception staff are only too happy to call a taxi for you ( this is cheaper than using the hotel shuttel )
The food and facilitys are out of this world , the rooms are very spacious and the sea view rooms have the most amazing views .
The only critisisam i have is the evening entertainment .I found this very repetative and after a week it became tedious and you knew what would happen next . However i would definetly go back and recomend this hotel
