Spent 2 weeks 4th to 18th June here, young couple wanting a relaxing holiday. We had a great time in a very nice place. Location was superb, the local bus stopped outside the hotel gate, 2TL got you into Yalikavak nice and easy to the market on Thusday which was great, from there you can get into Bodrum for another 4TL very cheap and if i'd have known we would have done this rather than the hotel minibus - fast and direct but not as much fun and much more expensive.

With Thomas Cook the transfer coach took us to a bus stop, then we got a minibus to the resort...so quick, no dropping off half the country and their kids before you get to your stop! The rep Fatma was superb, local lady and very knowledgable with a great sense of humour. We went on the Jeep Safari which was a good day out.

The resort was laid out really well once you get used to where you are with all the lifts (on a hillside), and the place was very well kept, cleaners all the time, and maintenance men too fixing broken steps and tiles on a daily basis, very impressive. We had an issue with the electrics in our room for some strange reason on a couple of occasions and within 15 mins of talking to reception it was sorted...so easy and at 9pm too! Our first room was gorgeous, a wooden built terrace with balcony looking out to sea, stunning .... until the first night and the show was on - it was situated under the pool area and the noise was pretty bad till 11pm then relief.....till midnight, then the nightclub started....my god, the noise was horrendous and the timber framework was vibrating like a chav's Saxo down the seafront. It stopped about 1am, and i went to reception first thing in the morning. Within 3 hours we were in another room in the main hotel block on the top floor. Not as much character in the room but slept like a baby, relief! There was no fuss put up by the reception, and moved very easily. But this was early June, and the place was not full up. If i was going to stay there again I would somehow request to be put on the third floor of the main building, much quieter.

The sea and pool areas were very nice, with food available all afternoon and as much to drink as you want. Efes lager is simply stunning! The food is truely outstanding. The quality is exceptional, the quantity is amazing, and the selection is unbelievable. They didn't bring the same thing out for diner as lunch - ever. Once a dish had been their a while, the chef's replaced it with a complete new bowl. There was about a dozen hot food bowls, two or three dozen salad bowls, plus seafood, cheeses, cold meats, soups, bread corner fresh every day, a dozen different deserts, fruit....honestly it was top draw. We were there two weeks and not once did we have any sort of gripe with the food....it was sometimes annoying because i found something i really liked, but it wouldn't come back out till the next week!

The staff were outstanding, always smiling, always saying hello, but it never felt forced, always shaking your hand once they knew you were a decent person that smiled back and chatted, it made you feel at ease. Which is more than i can say for a some of the guests. You'd think that the diner was only served for 5 minutes or someone was going to steal it the way the eastern europeans behaved. I havn't come across Russians on holiday before, and i now know that the behaviour of them that I experienced is common wherever you find them. There were lots of nationalities there, which was good because the hotel variety had to be large, and most were fine. But i've never experienced such a blatant disregard for the most basic of manners towards the staff and other guests, and it made diner a stressful affair which was a shame. However, the a la carte restaurants were truely superb! So relaxed and friendly, just make sure you are very hungry before going in or you won't stand a chance of eating it all!

I wouldn't go back because there's so much else in the world to visit, but I would reccomend it to anyone looking for an all inclusive in that part of the world.

Oh, and you've got to try the water sports, and the Turkish bath, very very good!

Room Tip: Rooms in low floors with a sea view are noisy, good if you're a night owl, bad if you're any...

Just back from delta beach. with husband and grandson.Nice Hotel , food nothing special same thing everday, Lots of people from surrounding countries who appear very miserable very few english, would have been nice to see a smiley face. The pools were very nice. Waiters were very good knew what thet were doing . Reception staff were young gilrs who had no idea what they were there for ,no english spoken which is unusual and they were very unhelpful thank goodness for the thomas cook rep she was good.(I believe good reception staff good Hotel ) one more thing the restaurant was very busy lots of very young children screaming and mother often running behind feeding them it was just like kindergarten out of controll. This is no way a 5star hotel I felt I have wasted a lot of money and definitvely will not go back.

Room Tip: choose a duluxe room if you want quiet.

Have just returned from the Delta Beach Hotel at Yalikavak and we will definately be returning next year. It was fantastic! The staff were so helpful and always dealt with you with a smile on their face. We went all inclusive, something that we have not done before. Food choice was excellent and was always freshly cooked and plenty of different foods to choose from. Hotel rooms were a good size and we had a great view from our balcony. Air condition in the room made it very comfortable to sleep. Even though the hotel was full, you would not know it. There was always plenty of sunbeds to choose from and spaces to sit in the restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a great holiday!

Good hotel with nice gardens.
Rooms are clean.
Food is delicious and various.
The staff don't speak English, but is kind.
The animator team is not good enough, and that makes hotel not so friendly for families with little children.
You can have a good rest there.

First off please do not lisern to the negitive person who have written reviews on here. Sorry if it is a bit long i want to but your mind at rest. this is a hotel well worth its 5*.

We have just come back from a week at Delta Beach (June 2012) and we loved the whole experience and our 2 year old daughter had the time of her life, We enjoyed it so much much we are planing to go back hopefully this year but definatly next year.

The hotel itself was very modern clean and tidy. The staff if not busy were always cleaning to keep it to its high standards. We had a lovely big room overlooking the slides and the sea and the view was breath taking. Our room was cleaned daily to a very high standard and the maid made swans out of the towels and we had fowers on the bed it was beautiful and they even put a flower in my little girls cot. We met lots of people and every said the same as us ( the best hotel we have ever been to by far)

If any one read the review about the money going missing and the safe not working please dont lisern to them as i ALWAYS felt safe in the hotel and we left stuff in our room and nothing went missing. The safe's worked and i dont no why the people had to get a code from receiption as you put your own code in so no staff no your safe code anyway.

The staff were so helpful and would do anything for you and they always had a smile on their face. The amimation team were fab and again brillant with my little girl infact the referred to her as princess and there was always so thing going on around the main pool.

The hotel is spreed out so its nice and you never feel crowded around the pools as there was 2 pools plus a kids pool, a few slides with a small pool and the beach plus an indoor pool/ spa so you never have to fight for a sun bed. The sun beds are of high quaility nothing feels cheap there, it's all of the highest quaility, you even have glass rather than the horrid pastic cups that you normally get at all inclusives.

Food was amazing especially the Italian restaurant, Always a good selection and we had something different every day and the deserts where to die for.

Yes it is half an hour from bodrum but you can get shuttles from the hotel for very cheap and if you wanted to see the night life the staff will take you out, but we didnt feel the need too.

i would like to finish and say i hope you find this helpful and if you are not sure please just give it ago and i am sure 100% you will love it at Delta Beach just as we diid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and my girlfriend recently stayed at Delta Beach Resort and had a superb week, all inclusive. We arrived at the hotel at 6 in the morning Turkish time so initially it was a case of getting to the room (we were situated just above the main restaurant, very easy to get to everything and our view from the balcony was decent enough if not spectacular.) Once we had slept we then sauntered about trying to get our bearings; our room itself was very nice, the shower was big, it was clean and spacious. Perhaps one little negative about the room was the fact that we were provided only with a small blanket rather than bed sheets and these were not that valid for the heat, also the air conditioner was not brilliant so getting to sleep at night was often difficult at first but once you did it was a comfortable snooze.

The rest of the hotel facilities were near enough perfect. There is a choice of 2 different pools, one predominantly frequented by children and another which is a more tranquil pool which myself and my girlfriend opted for most days. Both pools are by a bar so you don't have to go far to refresh yourself with an cold bevarage. There is also a smaller pool with waterslides for a bit of fun. As well as this you have a small strip of sand leading to the sea as well as a myriad of sunbeds just above sea level with ladders leading down to the sea. The setting is lovely.

If you don't fancy drinking and relaxing by the pools or sea area there is a sports cafe located on the second floor that overlooks the resort and this is a very nice place to sit with a Pina Colada and just chill.

As for the food, it is very nice indeed. I was a bit sceptical beforehand about the 'all inclusive' nature, never having been on an all inclusive holiday before but it was well worth it - you are entitled to unlimited drinks both alcoholic and soft, this also includes hot drinks such as delicious coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The food in the main restaurant varied from day to day so it did not become monotonous, it is a buffet style with soup (different every day) chicken, lamb, fish, steak, that alternate then salads, cheeses, chips, potatoes and much more. There was a plethora of desserts - something for everyone and if you didn't fancy something gooey you could tuck into some fruit.

As well as the main buffet restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, there is also 3 other restaurants in the resort which I think is an excellent alternative and something different for a change for a few nights. My girlfriend and I went to all 3 - a seafood restaurant, an Ottoman (Turkish) restaurant and on the last night an Italian restaurant. All 3 was superb and served 5 courses amidst a backdrop of beautiful scenery. In these restaurants there is less of a hussle and bussle of the main buffet one and you feel as though you are in a very high class restaurant with excellent service.

Perhaps the most outstanding feature of this resort is the staff. They are very friendly, make you feel at home and look after you well, from the pool bar staff to the restaurant waiters. We also enjoyed the good-humoured shows on every night and for those with children, the mini disco will keep them well enterained.

All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Turkey who enjoys relaxing, eating, drinking, having a good time and being well taken care of. We will certainly think about going back here again.

We spent an week all inclusive at the Delta Beach and were so impressed we are planning to return next year (if not this year).

Our room was just above the beach and was one of the largest I have stayed in, it was also mainly constructed of wood and as such it kept us cool and there was little need for the air conditioning, although when it did get uncomfortable in the room the air conditioning worked a treat!

The food was beautiful and between the main restaurant, beach snack bar and the A la carte restaurants (2 free with all inclusive and only 5 euros each after this) we certainly didnt get bored or hungry.

The other main attraction of this resort is the staff, when we arrived everyone was very friendly, but as time went on and we learnt the turkish for thank you and please they got even more eager to please.

Can not wait to go back!!
