““A Quiet Boutique Hotel, Relaxing & Peaceful!””

Oh, this is without a doubt one of my favorite Boutique hotels I've ever stayed at! This is a beautiful hotel in a great location and we really enjoyed our seven days stay in Yalikavak which is a fantastic place. The honeymoon suit is very large, nicely equipped and generous with large balcony with panoramic view to the sea, you could have your breakfast any time you wish at your own balcony. Lovely garden and pool area for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. High speed free internet access in all areas of the hotel was a real boon. The staff are friendly & profession, the breakfast was delicious , as well as the food at the hotel restaurant was outstanding. The staff worked so hard to make everyone feel welcome – it is little things that make a stay nice mostly the hotel manager Kenan. Yalikavak is obviously beautiful place, staying at Sandima 37 made it lovely.
All an all we had a marvelous time, we couldn't have asked for more. I must thank Kenan hotel manager who helped me plan how, where and when would be the most memorable place to get engaged. Thank you all so much.

We highley recomend, we would not hesitate staying her again.

A wonderful private boutique hotel giving you everything you need in a very friendly personal atmosphere.Location is about 1o mins walk down the hill into the small yet pretty town and is very private with lovely views.Service was excellent and helpful especially Kenan the manager.Anice suite with your own terrace for breakfast to be served or happy hour !!It is something a little different but special and well worth a visit if you want quality and service.May be a bit more expensive than some places but it IS worth it.

In the location / value balance this hotel scores highly. On every measure other than location – the spacious accommodation, the views, the well tended garden and pool area, the helpful staff, the well prepared food – this hotel gets top marks. We stayed in the family suite. It’s large and comfortable with 2 separate bedrooms giving complete privacy and a big balcony with a panoramic view over the gardens and town and out to the sea. View the hotel’s web site to get a better idea: the photos of the interior do it justice. The photos of the garden and pool area use a wide angle lens that makes it look bigger than it is. There are only seven suites so the service is very personal. Breakfast is excellent – lots of fruit, different jams, omelettes on demand, cheese, occasional savory pastries, olives if you want them, fresh orange juice. Food generally is of a high standard but a little expensive by comparison with other restaurants in the locality. We thought the hotel drinks overpriced, but you can if you wish buy your own in any of the local shops (though count your change carefully in the one just down the road….)

So what lets this hotel down? One thing only: it’s location beside the busy road down into town. There is a constant backdrop of traffic laboring up the hill, mopeds whining and beeping, to remind you that civilization is never far away. The hotel does it best to turn its back on it all: the garden and pool area are sheltered from the noise and it’s not an issue in the apartment at all.

The local town, Yalikavak, with its excellent restaurants is a ten-minute walk down the hill; there are lots of taxis or buses if you don’t fancy the walk back up. We liked Paprika in particular for its food; our children enjoyed Dede for its beachfront setting. The Irish-run steakhouse behind the children’s play park is also good. The beach in town is really just a long thin strip of gravelly sand lined with cafes and restaurants. The sea is clean and food and drink is just a few feet away. . There’s a simple watersports centre with reasonable prices. For quieter swimming spots explore the peninsular to the north of the bay.

The port of Bodrum with its well-preserved castle and abundance of eateries is well worth a visit. You can take a ‘dolmus’ bus from right outside the hotel - just put out your hand - about £1.25 for the 30-minute journey. Dolmus means ‘stuffed’ so try to avoid peak times in the heat of the day.

We booked direct with the hotel and except for a small quibble over a charge for breakfast coffee (filter coffee is extra!) felt that we were dealt with helpfully and honestly. All in all I’d recommend this hotel for anyone who wants 5-star accommodation, good personal service, doesn’t mind a walk to the nearest restaurants and beaches and doesn’t mind (or is used to) some road noise.

We choosed the hotel for our honeymoon and defintely didnt regret;)
After getting catched up by Kenan at the Bodrum airport, we got directly a short introduction and opportunities what to do in yalikavak / bodrum but prefered to stay the first day in the hotel/pool to relax...:) the garden and its ambience is great, felt like being in the paradise:p including pamuk, the lovely cat!!
The stuff is really friendly, helpfull and always there if you've needs:) especially Kenan, was like a dad for us, brought us to the beach/city... thanks a lot!!!
As written many times before, the suites are well decorated, clean and not to forget... the sunset view from teras will be unforgottable;)
The breakfast is awesome, best menemen ive ever eaten was there:D thanks again a lot:))) now im on diet:p unfortunatelly weve just one point, that disturbed us a bit, the traffic of the nearby road while having breakfast on the suites terrace:/ maybe we should have tried it in the garden, as you can have your dinner as well there! nevertheless while sleeping you are not able to hear the traffic &we defintely had the best sleep ever in a hotel:)
thanks again for all the beautiful moments and impressions, wishing you as well the best for your future!
Melike & Carsten

Many thanks to the owners of Sandima 37 for creating such a wonderful place. You get more than you expect and you need. The rooms are wonderfully decorated with an amazing attention to the details. The garden is a heaven. Service is attentive and perfect. The ambiance is calming and relaxing. The manager Kenan bey is very helpful in recommending and getting the guests to the places(restaurants, beaches, historical sights) in the vicinity. The breakfest and the food are worth to mention. Either they have or they create all your requests. "No and sorry" are two words that we never heard in Sandima. My wife and myself as a hard working and tired professional couple we felt renewed after our ten days in Sandima 37. We highly recommend the place to those who care the details, who feel better in a selective ambiance.
