Perfectly situated...just a short walk to the strip...with hardly any noise to be heard from anywhere.
Friendly staff always on hand and ready to help with any problems. Food served at breakfast was good (usual Turkish fare and also eggs however you like them) and midday snacks were filling and good value too.
Pool area was always clean and fairly busy but sun beds were nearly always available. (Towels appeared very early some days!) Pool towels were changed on a regular basis as were the room towels.
Lots to see and do in Hisaronu with loads of different restaurants to visit and countless trip companies trying their best to entice you with great deals. (paragliding is certainly exhilerating but once in a lifetime is enough for me.)

All in all we enjoyed our holiday...but would we return? Hard question that. We have only returned to the same place once before and that wasn't the same as first time around.
The Ramos was good..no doubt about that, but perhaps more than once in Hisaronu? Who knows. Maybe.

Our only gripe with the hotel was that we did ask to be relocated to a larger room as the one given to us was quite small for a two week holiday, but it must have fallen on deaf ears.

Room Tip: Quieter away from pool, but smaller.

Having spent many holidays to Turkey in the Icmeler area myself and my wife decided to try Hisaronu this year and after a long look at what was availabe we decided that 'The Ramos' was the place for us. Although available through the Thomsons brochure we contacted Pinar at the hotel directly and after booking our our flights all the arrangements for the booking and transfer were made by Pinar. I cannot praise the level of service highly enough. All my emails were answered quickly, every detail and any questions I had regarding our stay were explained fully. The price we paid included all transfers, ac and breakfast. A saftey deposit box is available at £14 for a 2 week stay.

On to the hotel.....what can I say....fantastic !!!! Firstly, great location, just past the roundabout and only a brief 5 minutes walk into the start of the main drag in Hisaronu. Our room was in a great spot, ground level next to the pool and having stayed in many apartments and hotels in Turkey it has to have been one the largest, cleanest rooms I have ever had the pleasure in staying in.There was plenty storage space, 2 chairs ( actual armchairs and not your white plastic B & Q ones ) a glass coffee table and rug.Bathroom spotless with a great shower and built in hairdryer. The towels were changed daily with bedding replaced every 3 days. Also beach towels were supplied for using at the pool area and were changed whenever required with no fuss.

The hotel facilities are second to none. Pool area fantastic with wooden type loungers with mats and whatever time of day you ventured down a bed was always available. The pool bar served excellent snacks all prepared by Hussain the chef and we ate there most days as did the majority of the residents.Breakfast was Turkish style and plentifull, with omlettes and fried eggs available on request at no additional cost. Breakfast was served under a covered terrace and was a great place to meet other guests. Big thanks to Adam and Ghengis (the night porter) who looked after breakfast service, always greeted you with a big smile and faultless attention.
The main bar at the front of the hotel was always well maintained with plenty seating and a chill out area with big bean bags. The staff there especially Koray were attentive but never in your face and always welcoming.
All in all a fantastic hotel and words cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay there and have already booked again for next year.

Great location - far enough away from the main drag to not be caught up in the evening bustle, but near enough (5 min walk) to be in the thick of it if you wanted to. As you would expect, all the staff are extremely friendly helpful and obviously work hard to keep us happy. Food, especially breakfasts, were generous, fresh, and personally perfect, bar service was efficient. Rooms were clean and comfortable, set amongst fruit trees and jasmine, (well ours was) the bar area was to the front of the hotel and could be lively (as a bar should be) but not outlandishly so. The pool was lovely with plenty of loungers, and peaceful with it. I can understand why people go back there. I would.

Room Tip: At the back if you dont want the bar noise at night.

Just back from a week at the Ramos. I was a single traveller and was made to feel welcome and comfortable by everyone.

I had a great room on first floor overlooking the pool (Room 102) with a double and single bed. The balcony had the sun all day so could sit out whenever I fancied. Free air con was a welcome as it was 30 degrees upwards most days. It was spacious and clean with pool towels and full size bath towels provided. The only downside to being so clean is that the cleaners were up and about early knocking on doors about 8.30/9.00 am, so if you fancy a sleep in then its not going to be here. But it does get you up and about for breakfast and make the most of the day.

Breakfast by the way is a great traditional affair with cheese, tomato, fresh and toasted breads and jams. As well as the option of asking for fried eggs or omelettes.

A hello to cheeky Adam who runs the pool bar, great snacks and drinks available all day. The pool area has loads of sunbeds and parasols available. Water in the pool is freezing but refreshing from the heat. !

In all a great wee hotel in a great location. Away from the main noise and hustle but so easy and quick to walk into town where the main bars and restaurants are. Thanks for a great week and I will return soon!

Nice Place. Foods alright and the people here are nice and very welcoming. Room was good enough and the view was amazing! Would stay here again. Only a short walk away from the main strip with all the shops and restaurants.

Room Tip: Ask for a 1st floor room.

We have just come back from a week's stay at the Ramos. We arrived at 3 in the morning but were shown to our room by a lovely member of staff. Our room was on the first (top) floor and was spacious and very clean. In the morning light we discovered our room had two comfy armchairs, a coffee table and ample storage. We had a twin room which actually had 3 comfortable beds. There was a flat screen TV with BBC World News. Admittedly the bathroom was on the small size and the shower a little hit and miss (a new shower head would have helped) but for the cost of the holiday it was acceptable. Air con was included but there was no room safe - but a safe situated in the main reception was available for £1 a day. Breakfast was plentiful - with fried eggs or omelettes cooked to order, really fresh bread, cereals, etc.

The pool area was lovely with ample sunbeds in both sun and shade. Although there was no restaurant they did offer very nice lunches - the usual suspects (sandwiches, jacket potatoes, pasta) freshly prepared. i had a jacket potato with Bolognese sauce which was cooked completely from scratch and tasted fab.

Location wise it can't be beaten. There were good restaurants within 10 meters with the resort centre a maximum 5 minute stroll away but there was no noise at night which was surprising considering how near the resort the hotel is.

The main bar was welcoming with a good selections of cocktails and beers. There was ample comfortable seating (sofas and armchairs), a pool table and table tennis table. Sky sports given a daily dose of football and cricket.

The Dolmas stop right outside given great transport links to Olu Deniz and Fethiyhe or further afield.

The staff were all excellent with nothing being too much trouble. Our room was kept immaculate with linen and towels changed every other day. The whole complex was kept neat and tidy as well. They all worked extremely hard to ensure our holiday was perfect.

So all in all a great little hotel in a lively resort which was wonderfully quiet and suited us down to the ground. Would we go back? Yes, without hesitation.

We had stayed in Club E in Calis Beach in May (another Thompson Small and Friendly hotel) and had wanted to go back but couldn't get booked which was why we came to the Ramos. We didn't think we could strike luck twice but we did! So now we have two great hotels to chose from in the lovely Fethiye area.

Booked with Thomson which is the main U.K operator. Was not diassapointed at all. Made to feel very welcome by all the staff and nothing too much trouble.
Dont forget your in Turkey and things are very laid back, but for a small and friendly hotel it was B and B with snacks available all day,The best draught Efes in the whole resort we felt was served at the hotel.
Nothing to moan about and will be returning next year.We kept our room on at acost of only £15 which was brilliant as we didnt leave the hotel until 6pm.

Room Tip: most have pool facing rooms ..We sayed in room 40 as the hotel is only on 2 floors the views from mo...
