Just come back from the Ramos, good hotel with very friendly helpful staff. The rooms are by far the best we've stayed in, very clean , maid service everyday. Loved the nice shapes they made with our towels different one everyday. Pool towels provided and air conditioning free of charge. Lovely pool area with no problem getting a sunbed. Breakfast was typical Turkish but also included omelettes or fried eggs on toast, could taste the flavour of the juice which can be weak in some hotels and there was a toaster provided if you preferred toast. Staff friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble, more geared up for adults looking for a nice quiet hotel, only saw a couple of kids on our last day, will definatey go back next year.

What an absolutely fantastic place, brilliant location. Returned completely chilled. The friendliest place we have ever stayed in, appears all guests return year on year. Maid Service excellent, rooms lovely and clean, attention to detail was amazing, flowers on bed on one occasion. Thank you to Koray who was very attentive to us and all the guests in the front bar area. So many places recommended to visit we didnt get round to them all so hope to return in the very near future.
Enjoyed Turkish breakfast - when up early enough - Didn't have an evening meal at Hotel but told BBQ was good - Load of good value restaurants within 5 minute walk.

I don't want to write too much on this one, as the other reviews seem to cover everything on the Ramos.
It's in a brilliant location for Ovacik/Hisaronu town & the dolmus stops outside for Olu Deniz & Fethiye.
The rooms are fresh and the cleaners are thorough, towels changed every day and even pool towels provided. (The cleaners even cleaned our sand covered beach shoes which were on the balcony!) The air-con is nice and cold (and free!) and the beds are comfortable.
The staff are all helpful & friendly, without being overbearing.
Breakfast from 8am - 10am is a good continental selection, always topped up and you can ask for fried eggs on toast or omelette too. The bar snacks are good & reasonably priced as are the drinks.
Always room around the very clean pool no matter what time of day.
Can't fault it in any way.

Room Tip: There are 3 blocks pool facing and 1 block looking onto the gardens. All equally as good, but maybe...

We have travelled for many years to this part of Turkey but never found the Ramos and we will certainly return. The little extras in the room where very welcoming, free aircon, mossie killer, washing line and pegs and even free pool towels.
The pool area was so quiet with no load banging music, mostly geared for couples who would like a really chilled holiday, plenty of sunbeds and a fantastic pool which was hard to keep out off when the temp was so hot. There was the added bonus at breakfast off omelettes or fried egg on toast at no extra charge, breakfast is served outside under a canopy with lovely views of the mountains and gardens.
The resort has plenty of restaurants and bars, the best being El Nino's, Baraccuda, the turkish Ivy, also try the Magic roundabout you will walk by every day and get pestered but we ate there one night and it was one of our best meals. Bar Friday up the main street do cheap cocktails and fish bowls, 2 for 1 and very cheap about £1.80. The bar at the front of the Ramos is also vry buzzy at night and most of the guests meet there for a drink, the bar staff are brill especially Koray.
If you go to the beach try the private beaches to the right of the lagoon, there are about 6 to choose from and they will bring you back to the hotel.
Exchange rate 2.80 in July. so good value at the moment.

Room Tip: Pool rooms are larger than the garden rooms

What a lovely hotel the Ramos is and in a brilliant location. It's 10 minutes on the dolmus from Fethiye - which holds the famous turkish markets on a Tuesday or Olu Deniz which is a must see for the beautiful beaches and the breathtaking lagoon. Hisaronu's main strip is a 5 minute walk although we didn't hear a sound from the busy pubs at the hotel late in the evenings.

Have just returned from a weeks stay at the Ramos and felt truely looked after. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The maid service is excellent. The lovely maid even re-hanged and pegged our washing properly for us when my boyfriend just flinged it over the line! The food is really good too from the breakfasts to the pool bar food and their main meals aren't to be missed! There are secure safes available for every room although note that these are in reception so you need to ask for one) and the air con is brilliant (and free!). Lastly, we were never short of a sun bed or parasol which is a real problem in a lot of hotels!

Most importantly, it's the personal touches that count and everyone at this hotel (particuarly ebor, a brilliant and funny waiter who works the bar in the evenings) showed a genuine interest in making our stay as memorable as possible. I've never stayed at a small family hotel before but absolutely can't wait to return!

This was to be my very first holiday abroad with my daughter and son-in-law, my daughter arranged everything and we arrived at "Ramos" at 12.30 pm on 22nd June and were shown to our rooms. We went back down to the bar and asked if they could reccomend anywhere we could get something to eat, we were offered toasties at the bar even though the kitchen was officialy closed and delicious toasties they were too, if you stay at Ramos give the cheese and salami a try mmmmm.

My daughter was given a room overlooking the pool and I had a room overlooking the garden, very peaceful, my room was clean spacious and had brilliant air con which was much needed as it was fairly warm at night. A maid came in every day to tidy and make the bed which was changed twice during my stay. I had a small balcony with a washing line and pegs provided, a nice touch I thought. Breakfast is typical turkish with fruit, salad and olives, though there were eggs on toast or ommelettes available as well, we opted for the former.
The staff were very helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble for them especially Ebor who was the hotel joker always laughing and putting a smile on everyones face.
The Ramos is a few hundred yards away from the main strip which was nice as you are far enough away from the hustle and bustle but near enough to enjoy a pleasant walk into "town". The bar area was partly covered or you can sit outside on the bean bags and have your drinks which we did most evenings.
Days were spent around the pool which was lovely lots of sunbeds and shades for those who wanted them, or off on trips we booked these at the place just across the road I cant remember the name but it was directly opposite.
There is a lovely beach a short dolmus ride away at Oulideniz it took us 2 trips to find it but what a find it was, if you decide to go then ask for Billy`s beach.
I was very sad to leave the "Ramos" but I plan to go back again as soon as posible.
Great place ... great people ..... just great!

We have stayed in Hisaronu 7 times in all but his must be one of the best small hotels. It is in a good central position. The staff are very friendly (without overdoing it) and bedrooms v. spacious with free air con. The whole complex is very clean and the pool is good size. Breakfast is plentiful.
The only downsides (which didn't really spoil the holiday) were not enough sunshades and lack of entertainment - it would have been nice to have one or two evenings of entertainment e.g. BBQ/music. The Thomson rep was new so didnt have much local knowledge.
We would definately recommend for older couples wanting a relaxing holiday.

Room Tip: We stayed in an upper floor room overlooking the pool. No noise from traffic even though it was in t...
