i,ve just returned this morning from turkey and once again myself and my wife stayed in the grove.there has unfortuntely been a gradual decline in some respects of outside clenleness around the pool area but the rooms are spotless and the cleaners cant do enough for you.there is a problem with the music as most guests would rather chill till later on in the day rather than gangsta rap with ya boiled eggs but have a word with popeye and threaten to throw the speakers in the pool generally does the trick!!!
the food is ok but in some cases overpriced for the portion size and better value can be found just a 100 metres away down the hill.but dont let this put you off this idealy situated little jem of a hotel where you are alays made to feel most welcome.we'll be returning in september.

Room Tip: all rooms are good no special tip

This is our 4th holiday in Turkey so we know what to expect before anyone judges me. We arrived on Friday 8th June and thought what a lovely hotel. IT IS. Rooms are basic but clean and well sized.Receptionist very helpful. BREAKFASTS were very boring, cheese, boiled eggs and bread, yogurt and fruit and of course 3 lots of olives. NO MEATS, CEREALS OR VARYING FOODS AT ALL. This could be bought if you wanted them.
Then Hotel Grove changed to Hotel Disco a nightmare and begun. Just to say that 90% of the guests were over 30 with children or couples like us. I love music BUT NOT FROM 10am every morning till late at night the same boom boom crap not even proper music. No relaxing time round the pool for lots of us we all had to go out. The bar is run by young lads and only one can speak English so the music they play is for them not the guests. It was terrible and we couldn't wait to get away. It was so loud that with the room door shut and earplugs in you could still hear it. WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS HOTEL.
PLACES TO EAT. The English Restaurant, El Nino's, The Honeymoon Restaurant and the Dragonara Chinese Restaurant. The best local is Beer and Bites and Mehmet is fantastic you must call in, food is good and we have always met lovely people in there.
Hisaronu was louder and brasher than last year but still something for every age group. Hope this review is helpful.

I love this hotel back again with whole family and friends check you tube for video of hotel will add more you always get some people that give poor or negative reviews on any hotel or there staff you can't please everyone all the time ans some take there friendliness the wrong way which is a shame.the turkish are very nice people and don't be surprised if you get a massage while sitting at a table or bar etc there not trying it on with you men and women get it.i love a head massage for free lol.the hotel is only three stars and not expensive and well worth the money don't judge the people or country try it your love turkey and this area of turkey ,I've been it side and although very nice the Turkish are not as nice as they are in this area were in a large family room and also have two other rooms which are great and larger than other hotels we stayed in staying half board but b&b also available but food is good so we chose hb again the little extra it costs is worth it.
You have do some trips there cheap try and get two day trip in if you can,

We stayed at the Grove last September and was pleasantly surprised! The rooms were lovely, large and very clean! Staff excellent and the manager Mehmet very helpful and accommodating. All in all a lively holiday.
We have booked to return this summer with our family. We have since found they have a new reservation manager Sulaman! He is very helpful indeed, we have had to make a few changes to our booking and he was brilliant! If you contact him direct he will endeavour to give you the best value he can!

From reading some of the comments on here my partner and me had mixed feeling about coming to this hotel. However to our delight, every day and every aspect of this hotel we thoroughly loved and enjoyed!! We had nothing but positive experiences while staying here. Our room was cleaned daily, new sheets, new towels and a general clean. We were even greeted to beautiful flowers the cleaners had picked for us!! The staff worked so hard to ensure everyone was happy. Some of the younger boys spoke less English; so in order to welcome people and be friendly they did make funny gestures, including these ‘pig’ noises a previous comment moaned about. This was in no way a rude gesture. The manger Mehmet was more then friendly…he very much so befriended us and helped us our whole entire stay. He and the staff (mainly Sam, who I think has sadly now left) made the holiday for my boyfriend who he planned to go fishing with and often stayed with at night drinking and other holiday makers who shared this positive feeling!! The previous comment has got the totally wrong impression of the manger Mehmet…we did not find he was out to make money…he often was the one buying us the drinks! We made great friends and found the hotel perfect. Such a beautiful location and lovely staff. Leaving was truly sad…partly from the goodbye send of for all the staff we received! We are booking very soon to return in August!! In all honestly we can not find one fault about this hotel…

Must go on the Jeep Safari (best holiday trip by far we have ever done!!)

Room Tip: For the amazingly cheap prices...the rooms are more then lovely! Tv with a few english channels and...
