hotel clean but basic we found the hotel to be very dark even in the reception and staircase area.the rooms are small with a tiny bathroom our shower screen had a screw missing which made it difficult to pull along the tap was most annoying it would not stop running all day .the balcony door would not open so until someone came to see to it we were absolutely roasted.we opened the windows but they have black mesh behind so we didnt get much air. the bed was comfy but there was no top sheet only a rather rough bedspread that did not fit, ours were full of holes.we went on a monday and we did not get our bed changed till the saturday and we were due to come home in the early hours of monday morning so they changed the bed and we only slept in it for 1 night before going home, now i think it should have been changed on thursday in the middle of our stay.some of the light bulbs did not work, and the air con was so dated it made a right noise just sounded like it was blowing a gale force wind outside.the dining room was nice really it was outdoors and was used all day with people drinking in it as though it was a bar and not just a resturant i have never been in a hotel like this before they have all had a seperate resturant which was closed after each meal, this is why the table covers at mealtimes were stained with food and drink spills they was not changed at all even for the evening meal ,some were very thread bare .the chairs could have done with a fresh lick of paint as well.even the balcony needed a fresh coat of wood stain its a shame really cause they could have looked quite nice.they were very small though they had 2 small chairs but no table on the balcony and to open the door to get on to the balcony you had to move a chair first .we were at the back of the hotel so we faced the hills which was very dark and not at all welol lit when sat out on an evening you could hardly see a thing cause it was so dark, the area around the hotel was dimly lit and the roads and pavements in a terrible dangerous state.we walked down to ol deniz beach but i wouldnt reccomend it to anyone as it is along way down a very busy hill with loads of bends and no pavement to walk on it took us 40 mins to walk it down we were terrified,do get the bus there is a free bus from the hotel or if like us you miss it then you can just flag one down and they will stop for you.coming back the buses run every couple of mins and its 2.75 lira and is worth it,once at the beach i did not like the beach it was very gritty and pebbly so we walked 100 metres to the lagoon only to find we had to pay 4.50 lira each to get on to the lagoon.the sun loungers and parasolls are expensive to hire 8 liras each.a walk at night takes you about 15 mins to reach hisoronu wich we liked all lit up with a fun fair very lively and bustling with shops and resturants although they do pester you it gets so annoying although there was loads of very good fake designer gear to be bought we came home with loads of holister hoodies and super dry at good prices.mulberry bags and purses were also fab could have took loads back but you have to remember not to overload your suitcase cause they are very strict in turkey about that..the hotel food was good especially if you like chicken it was repetitive but most of the all inc hotels are the same salads and deserts the same every night but if you get fed up you can always treat yourself and eat out prices are reasonable.the pool area was very pleasant with mountains surrounding you its quite breathtaking and the pool is large and kept clean.to sum up my reveiw i wouls say we had alovely time in turkey and would go back again dont know about the hotel as it is now but if they were to give it a makeover then yes would deffo stay there again.

Room Tip: dont have a room near reception heard they are very noisy with phone ringing and people checking in...

Just got back from our holiday to Hisaranu and same as last year we booked the Pink Palace.

The Hotel is basic, and they do serve chicken every day, but there is always an alternative and there is a wide selection of other dishes as well, salads pastas etc.

We book the Pink Palace because we enjoy the location and the staff, it is also one of the cheapest all inclusives you can get.

Our room was clean, the shower worked, and we had wardrobes and drawers to put our clothes in. Not much more to say really, we sleep, shower and get changed there.

The pool area was bid enough, and the pool was spotless, the hotel was very busy (only 2 empty rooms) so sun beds were at a premium. It was not the staff's fault, other guests seem to think its OK to leave towels out at 7am and then go to the beach or on trips & get back at 4pm for their spot.

Please dont be put off by bad reports, if you expect 5 star, book and pay for 5 star, If you want a budget, but good hotel - book the pink palace.

Not sure if we will be back in Turkey next year, but if we are, we will be booking the Pink Palace again.

Are you comfy...this could go on a while! :)
We booked this hotel as a last minute holiday and actually paid more for it than we did a 5 star in May. I suppose at this point I should say that we normally stay in 4 or 5 star, so it is only higher rated hotels that I can compare this with.
On arrival at our rooms we could not believe how basic they were. Ok, nobody spends much time in their room...but a little bit of comfort doesn't go amiss. Each room basically had 2 single beds, a bedside unit, fridge and built in wardrobe. The curtains barely fitted the windows and had a lace panel which people could see through, so we were constantly dressing in the dark as we were on the ground floor! Bathrooms measured approx 5ft x 4ft and had the smallest shower cubicle we have ever come across! If you dropped the soap whilst showering you had to bend down vertically to retrieve it, there was not enough room to bend over! The lavatory seat had marks all over it and to sit on the lavatory straight you had to have one foot in the shower and to top it off there was no plug for the basin! The walls of the room were super thin, you could hear EVERYTHING from your neighbours, from talking, to them using the bathroom! Doors were constantly slamming too. To be honest, from the 7 nights we spent there I think we had 1 night of uninterrupted sleep!!
Now onto the food...it was all edible, not a great deal of choice (Lunch and dinner was always 2 main courses and 1 of those was always chicken!) Fresh salad was always available and was very nice...I should know, I spent the week living on it! Desserts were the same every day....pretty disgusting! Apart from watermelon there was not any other fruit available throughout our stay.
Drinks were pretty much the same as anywhere else, although cocktails didnt come under the AI, and AI ends at 11pm...they are extremely punctual with this!
We never had a problem with getting a sunbed, and the pool area was nice. The toilets by the pool area were a little undesirable at times!
The hotel feels like it is in the middle of nowhere, but is infact only a 10 minute walk from town.
We enjoyed our week, but we got out of the hotel on many days and adapted to the conditions we were living in! Would we go back? NO!

Just got back from a week staying at this hotel.
On our 2nd night had to change rooms due to the lock on our hotel room broke, air conditioning leaking, broken hairdryer and very noisy room!
After that wasnt too bad, hotel is very basic. Considering it was all inclusive we only had 1 evening meal and ate out in the town the other 6 nights! There is no choice its always some sort of chicken with a random side dish that just doesnt go. Breakfast was ok, there is a choice of fruit, cereal, fresh eggs omelete etc,Lunch was ok too. Afternoon snack everysingle day was burger and chips thats all!!
After 11pm you have to pay for your drinks even soft drinks!
Its only a 5 min walk into hisaronu, which is nice with loads of good bar and restaurants.
Would deffo go back to the area but not the hotel!!

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room at the back of the hotel as its quiter

im a 13 year old kid that has had a fantastic holiday with my single mum.
lets start off with the fact that most of the stuff said on here that is bad is NOT true !!!
the staff work 24/7 nonstop and get payed pennys and still they do ramadan and keep smiling thruout the day. the pool area is awesome a good sized pool and a great sized bar area. the dog is kept away from the canteen and you cant blame the hotel for having a cat that went into the resturaunt once. the hotel is based 5 miniutes walk from the main drag of hissaronu and stays very quiet at night it is in a very peaceful place and not any clubs too close to it. the food is very nice, well cooked, and always a vegiterian option and one more so not just chicken. the entertainment is great hosted by serkan and behar and i would truely recomend playing bingo!
the rooms are good and its all you need in an all inc you need beds for enough people, a shower, a toilet, a fridge, a sink and room and thats what you get. there were only 3 things that upset me on this holiday ... that there was a man that ran the grounds doing alll the dirty work and hardly getting payed so we gave him a tip and those are the people who need it not the ones sitting in the office on the computer. and also the part that i had to leave this beautiful, amazing, brilliant hotel. but finally the fact that there were such bad reports on this hotel when we had such a good time.
this was the best holiday ive ever had all the people are nice and ive made soo many friends pllease have a good holiday because all of me and my friends had a great time !!!
thankyou soo much and wel deffinately be going back next year!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S TRY AND LEARN THIER LAUNGUAGE BECAUSE ITS THERE COUNTRY AND IT GOES A LONG WAY.

I have just left Pink palace and can honestly say that I have no complaints.
Check in...easy, speedy and bags taken to room.
Room...air conditioning no probs. Beds comfy. one pillow so asked for another and was given it. Small balcony so I could hang out our towels and keep the lilos there. Shower no probs, sink and loo. Room cleaned daily and sheeets changed every 3 days (Better than self caterring villas!). TV was there but didnt use it. I can honestly say that I didnt find it noisy. Yes, you can hear some people, but I think everyone was aware of previous complaints and so took off their shoes late at night and were generally considerate. I had ear plugs at the ready and didn't need them.
Pool area... No problems. Always found sunbeds. Some were older than others but it wasn't a problem. ONLY SLIGHLTY NEGATIVE COMMENT.. The pool toilets really need some money spending on them. They are tatty and whilst not unclean they often didnt have loo roll.....solution was to use the ones in reception or our room. It wasnt a big deal. The surround of the pool had a non slip mat and that did the trick but the surface not covered is slippery when wet. Pool bar was lovely. There is a road that passes by it so you can hear traffic when sat there....but importantly I couldnt hear the traffic from our room because consideration has been given to the lay out of the hotel.
Food......I am vegetarian and my son is a confirmed carnivore with a milk allergy. We stayed there for 2 weeks and as part of our holiday we did eat out a few times, but we couldnt complain about the food at all. Its largely a Turkish menu but you can eat more English food if you wish because there is a choice, despite what has been said previously. The staff work their little socks off to keep the place ticking over and all were lovely, without exception.
The area is beautiful and there is plenty to do. Hissaronu is a short walk away and is pleasant during the day and night. As a single mum I feel safe there and so does my son. There is a lively night life but the mix of bars allows for some quieter ones slightly furthur into the town.
Overall, for the price paid I have no complaints at all. If you are expecting carpeted rooms with a fully stocked mini bar then you are looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel. This is a relatively small hotel with beautiful gardens and consideration given to making the all inclusive package work. I suspect we will be back next year.
