“Very pleasant stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2013

Have just returned from a 5 day break at this hotel, wish we could have stayed longer. This was my fifth time in Olu Deniz and I have stayed at a different hotel each time. My daughter and I felt safe and comfortable and would not hesitate to use this hotel again. The staff seemed very pleasant and friendly but as we were on such a short trip we did not get time to get to know them very well. Our room was fine, clean and no real problems, our safe deposit box was broken but this was not a real problem as we used one near reception which was larger than the room box and my daughters ipad fitted in which it would not have done in the one in the room. The shower could have been more efficient as the water flow was slow but we managed and it was clean. Our room 208 had a nice outlook over the pool but the balcony was very small, just about fitted two chairs but with no room to move. I am already booked for May next year but once again staying at a different hotel. If you are booked at this hotel then just go an enjoy it. Must recommend the boat trips, we did three different ones in 5 days and would have done more if we could have fitted them in, the 2 of us had a trip with lunch and our drinks and spent less that £30 in total, great value. Our favourite was booked with Pioneer on the Cherry Tree boat The Robin, but Pioneer's own small boat was great as well and the captain Toona was really nice, could have done with some chill out music and it would have been perfect. The best meal we had was at Bella & Gusto on the seafront, fantastic food and great service. Can't wait for May next year.

Just returned from a last minute cheap break in the sun to Hotel Majestic. This is a 3 star hotel that is clean and basic, but needs a little upgrading, certainly in the bathroom. The room 305 was in a good location away from the bar with a nice view towards the pool, and surrounding hills, but balcony was tiny, and barely room for two people to sit there. The breakfast was underwhelming but adequate, the lunchtime snack menu was quite varied, but there are lots of places to eat just outside.
The pool area was kept tidy and we didn't have a problem getting a sun bed at this time of the year, but I am sure it would be impossible in a busy season unless you were up at the crack of dawn! Although the weather was glorious the pool was freezing, so hardly anyone went in, only the very hardy!!! Which was a shame.
The staff are very friendly, Mehmet and his team try very hard to make everyone feel welcome, and there is a very friendly atmosphere here.
This is a 3star hotel, which is clean and basic, so don't expect anything more than that. The location is good with a straight walk down the road to the beach. The strip with all the shops and restaurants is also near by. I would recommend this hotel for an inexpensive short break.

Room Tip: First floor rooms overlooking the pool are good, corner rooms have two balconies.

Just back from the Majestic ,had two very relaxing weeks here, friendly staff especially Hussan,Basic hotel large rooms and very clean, towels changed daily ,beds twice a week.only one problem was that some rooms don't have a safe and you have to use one in lobby reception which is a pain as you have to keep getting the master key.5 mins walk to the strip and beach .
recommend you try Sultan Ahmed and Blue star restaurants great food .
You must go down to the beach before sunset and have a drink in one of the bars on the balcony, great views and you can watch the paraglidders coming in to land.(watch your head)
Would recommend this hotel and will be going back next September. Sharon and Barry

Room Tip: rooms at the rear are cooler but poor view.dont need air con. in Sept so don't pay for it.£4 /ng...

We booked this holiday, then looked at the reviews. I will be honest, we thought we had got it wrong and were concerned over staying here. I know there were other reviews thay gave it praise. We arrived and was surprised even from the the initial service, couldn't do enough, we arrived at midnight. The room was pleasant and clean. The beds soft and linen very clean. During our 2 week stay we didn't have cause to moan once. Clean rooms friendly service, friendly staff. The rooms were cleaned daily. It is located within easy walking distance to the beach, there is a bus stop just outside for those wanting to trip off. What you need to understand is this, for what you pay either per week of longer, its very cheap, what you you actually get for your spend is value for money. Try getting an holiday in the uk for the same price, with sun sea samd and atmosphere. Dont expect to pay for a value holiday and get 5 star service. The local folk try and work hard to provide the service. The hotel run a card scheme to purchase food and drink. Its easy ro just buy and pay at reception daily. We will certainly book again.

Just returned home. first time at this hotel although stayed in Oludeniz at this time last year.
This hotel is lovely, set in its own gardens. We had a corner room so had two balconies, one at the back with not much view but great for drying towels and swimwear. The side one looked down between two blocks right to the pool and bar area. Staff were all really helpful and friendly especially Memmet always around and the two barmen Tom & Jerry. The dining room staff brilliant as was the young lad on reception. Room was spotless, great shower with a door that did not let water run out. Only problem could not put mat in front of door as it pushed the mat away so had to put to one side, and to be very careful when stepping out as tiles very very slippy when wet. The sheets were changed at least times in two week stay with lovely towel art on the bed each time, some with flower petals and leaves. Also had a small bunch of flowers left at the start of our second week. Towels changed every couple of days, floor mopped nearly every other day. Breakfast the usual Turkish breakfast, but you are in Turkey and we enjoy it as it is plentiful for our needs. We don't go to Turkey for a full English breakfast.
We will be returning to this hotel next year, much better than the one we stayed in last year.

Room Tip: Room 118 was a quiet room away from the bar noise.

Just come back from a week's stay here - was panicking after reading reviews, all i can say to the people who put bad reviews - get that nose from out of your behind & if you want grapes peeled for you & a room that is so elegant you'd want to spend all holiday in then go & book a Palace somewhere!!!
AMAZING stay here, Staff are so friendly, everywhere very clean, room was nice & spacious - comfy bed, clean bathroom - what more do you want out of a room? The pool side & bar are good, a couple of Lira more than the bars outside but no miver off the bar-staff unlike the rest of the resort (you come in my bar - best bar around - best people, very cheap! - EVERY bar you walk past you get the same spiel & it does wear thin!! but nothing like this in hotel) Great location - quiet but only 5 mins walk to the strip & beach. Will definately stay here again :)

We found the rooms for what we paid exceeded our expectations. They were spacious, clean, comfortable bed and pillows. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. During our stay there was a storm when the electricity power in the resort was cut. This hotel has generator therefore we were not left in darkness unlike other superior hotels in the area.

Eating out we would recommend Park Resort Café by the bus terminal in Olu Deniz delightful food and staff.
