Just arrived back from majestic and I must admit that all these reviews that are moaning must be stuck up!! It's a 3* not 5! Staff were friendly and food was nice. Yes I agree the rooms do need a revamp but for the amount of time we spent in it, it really isn't an issue. Met some wonderful ppl and seen a few familiar faces. Excellent 2 weeks :-) thanks majestic

We stayed for 1 week at the majestic, our room was on the bottom floor, after reading previous reviews about the majestic hotel we really didnt want to stay on the ground floor. However we were pleasantly suprised, rooms are dated and small however it is what you would expect from a budget hotel, just enough space for 2 people in one room and plenty of storage, our rooms got cleaned everyday.
We stayed half board and the food was great, alot to choose from in the evening and different foods everyday, other reviews on here say the food is repetitive maybe this is because they had stayed for more than 1 week. I didnt get to try breakfast as I never got up in time or was going on an activity earlier than breakfast started.
The pool area is bigger than we expected and a lovely decent sized swimming pool, there was always empty sunbeds however this may be due to the fact it is the end of the summer holidays.
All the drinks are reasonably priced however keep on top of what you buy on your card as you may not realise how much you have spent until the end of your holiday and be in for a nasty shock!!
All of the hotel staff are lovely and go out of there way to help you as best as they can, on
Wednesday night it is turkish night and is definately worth staying in the hotel for, lots of entertainment and amazing food.
Majestic is located round the corner from the main strip area of olu deniz with plenty of bars, shops and restaraunts, around a 5 minute walk. A 10 minute walk to the beach.
All in all this is a very good hotel a lot better than I expected! Would recommend to anyone visiting olu deniz for the first time as I had a great time.

Room Tip: If you have a late transfer and want to keep room for the day let reception know at the start of you...

Just home (29th August 2013) after spending a great week at this hotel, the staff were fantastic and went out of they're way to help with anything you needed. I know some people complain about the breakfast being basic etc., but it is a Turkish style breakfast ! The lunches they sold were cheap and there was a good choice. I shall certainly be back and many thanks to the manager and staff fo helping us to enjoy our stay.

This is the first time I had stayed at a budget hotel so was unsure of what my experience would be. I was very pleasantly surprised. I was staying in a room with my twin daughters for a week away together after their finals. We were expecting a very basic room but was pleased to find that although the furniture was a little dated we had air conditioning a fridge and most importantly a great view. The beds were comfortable the shower worked and everything was very clean. We had a lady clean and make up our room everyday.
The breakfast although not what you would get in England was plentiful and even the fussiest person could find something they liked even if it was toast and honey. I prefer to experience some of the Turkish culture otherwise what is the point in going away and too hot for full english anyway.
As I enjoy eating out I would never choose half board but we did attend two of the special evenings and the food and entertainment was very very good. I love trying new food so the Turkish night was a real treat.
Location wise the Majestic is perfectly situated, far enough away from the hub to be relaxed but still only a short stroll away from the beach and lagoon. The resort itself offers plenty to see and do and is incredibly picturesque.
The staff were amazing and great fun. They couldn't do enough for us. Whilst we didn't stay around the pool in the day we made use of the bar before and after we went out. From what I can see they seemed very good with children and also let people let their hair down and have fun.
We stayed very near the bar so if you are a light sleeper best to ask for a room away from there. It didn't bother us but as the bar stays open until the last people leave it can be a little noisy.
All in all for the cost of the hotel it was very good value for money. Cheaper than camping but a lot more comfortable. I will be coming back with my friends to party in the autumn.

Room Tip: Go for the first floor and above, away from the bar if you are a light sleeper.

Hotel good for what we paid have stayed at worse that have had more stars. Had lunch at the hotel on a couple of days found the food to be fine. The Majestic met our needs and spoke to several people who been there several times and they said they would come back again.

The majestic hotel is located about 5 minute walk to the loveliest beach. On the walk there are many restaurants and supermarkets which you can purchase drinks from.

The hotel itself charges extra for aircon and other amenities. When booking it stated it has these facilities which you assume you payed for however this hotel charges £4 for aircon per night, £4 for a mini bar per night , £2 for a safe per night which isn't located in your room. This was a huge let down as we assumed we had already payed for it and it added additional cost into our holiday.

The pool area was very busy. There is a sign which says do not put towels down before 7:45am however every morning we went out at that time and most of the chairs were already reserved. The hotel staff did not keep to there sign.

The pool is very warm and there is a bar and food area attached. I did not eat at the hotel as it is overpriced. There is a corner store about 5 meters from the hotel and is very cheap. We brought food into the hotel of a night.

The wifi worked great in most areas of the hotel. The hotel has many pool toys as wel as a pool table which was free of charge

The breakfast was ok. Very deceiving how much choice there was. But had the basic continental breakfast. With juice however bottle water cost extra.
The room size was extremely large it even had a couch in it. The rooms were cleaned only every three days however the towels were changed daily. If you want late check out it cost an extra £20 until 5pm. The staff were friendly.

We would recommend this hotel however we would stay somewhere different next time, . Just remember the additional cost which they do not tell you about
