Having just returned from 2 weeks at the Tower here is my honest review.
The positives are
1.The hotel and grounds are pretty and well kept
2.The maids do a fantastic job at cleaning your room changing towels every day and fresh linen
left in pretty patterns on the bed
3.The bathroom was lovely and clean and shower always had hot water
4.The pool was large enough and we didn't have trouble finding a sunbed during our stay
5.There is plenty of shade round the pool provided by brollies and a nice relaxing area with soft cushions
6.Most of the staff are friendly especially good is the head barman(Baba) who will always chat
7.Free air con which you do need with temps over 40
8.Cheap safe behind reception only £1.00 a day

The negatives are
1.The room was quite small although adequate but the balcony was tiny only really fit for hanging washing over railings
2.One staff member tries to bully you into going to Turkish night at hotel and if you refuse he doesn't speak to you for the rest of the time you are there(not a problem for us)
3.If you spend loads of money at the hotel the waiters are your best buddies if not as above
4.The breakfast gets a bit boring after 2 weeks as it's the same virtually every day

As you can see the positives to the hotel far outweigh the negatives so I am sure you will have a nice holiday if you stop at the Tower

Overall this hotel was very good... The rooms were very clean, the food is much better than other hotels, the swimming pool area is nice. It's conveniently located relatively near the front.

The bar staff were incredibly helpful, funny and polite... An asset to the hotel. The Rooms whilst basic were very clean and nice. You each get our own balcony which is ideal. Plenty of greenery and plants around too.

The bad points:-

1) Beds were very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on.

2) Rediculous policy on not drinking any drinks not purchased from the hotel. I understand this policy around the pool with alcohol but to tell people not to drink water unless purchased from them was stupid. We were told we couldnt drink what we wanted in the privacy of our room. We completely ignored this and they didn't hassle us. I advise everybody else to do the same and not be bullied into buying there over priced drinks.

3) Evening Meals whilst nice were extremely repetitive. Variety anyone?

4) On the final night we did witness the owner (?) or a senior member of staff being quite aggressive and rude to some guests rather unnecessarily. It was comfortable to watch.

Overall a good hotel but with some physical improvements and a tighter focus on customer service could be brilliant. A revamp of the rooms and pool area would drastically improve its appearance too.

Before I write anything negative I want to say that the staff at this hotel are absolutely brilliant and there is nothing they won't do for their guests. We have stayed here a couple of times now, but this year was the last. It was tainted because we witnessed the owner of the hotel abusing a puppy. When we tried to stop him he was extremely rude. We told him we would not stay here again and his response was "I don't care". We have now arranged our 2014 holiday at a different hotel which we did before we left the resort. An extremely rude and unpleasant man.

My wife and celebrated our 37th Wedding Anniversary in The Tower Hotel it was a fantastic 2 weeks holiday the rooms are small and very basic, but at the end of the day its only a place to shower change and sleep. Free Air con helped keep us cool only disappointment, there is no fridge. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels supplied bedding is changed once per week. the pool is nice and the pool bar is very well staffed and the food at lunch time is very tasty all the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The lounge Bar is run by Baba who is a genuine fantastic guy who treats all of his guest's as friends. The hotel operates a no cash policy everything is charged to your room, but you can settle the bill daily. Safety Deposit Boxes are available at a cost of £1 per day. We will definitely be going back because asi said earlier it was a fantastic holiday.
