This was our second visit to this hotel, we emailed the hotel well in advance to inform them it was our honeymoon, the reception staff are very frosty and we were put in a room less welcoming then last year, and had no extras due to it being our honeymoon but putting that aside the hotel was a wonderful location as last year. The cleaning ladies are absolutely wonderful really friendly and thorough, the waiting staff and bar staff were also wonderful and very on the ball. this hotels siting is perfect for the beach, the dolmus and the local town is a stone throw away. The food is fantastic and available constantly from 7.30am till 9pm, buffett food in restaurant for your main meals ans then burgers, toased sandwiches, salad and chips available from the pool restaurant until 5pm. so much food available i felt quite stuffed by the end of the holiday! One complaint which did bother both us and other guests was a Wedding reception held on the Sunday night, this included a 9 piece band, disco lights and the music was so loud that we felt forced out of the hotel on our last night as we couldn't hear ourselves think or talk over the wedding party noise, we had to come back to the hotel at 11.30pm as we we were flying the next day to find the music still so loud that our bed was nearly bouncing to the beat and the tv was unhearable over this din! I was very grateful when the music did stop at 11.50pm! I think it would have been nice if reception had adviced us of the wedding reception instead of forcing hotel guests escaping the noise. It did not put us off and we will be returning next year. The beds were very hard but we overcame this by putting a duvet as extra protection on the bed for comfort.

After a long and tiring journey we were put in an attic room 528 which was dank and smelly. We had specifically asked for a room in block 4 with a pool view, though maybe being on our honeymoon would have helped. No Way!!! We complained straight away but were told there was no more rooms until the next day. We were offered another room, 611 (the generator was right beside this room, avoid at all costs) the next day but had sine found out that there was rooms vacant in block 4 when we arrived. We felt that the reception staff couldn't care less.
Apart from that disappointing start, the food was excellent, the waiters, bar staff, cleaners, animation team were fantastic and very friendly.
The barber does an excellent hair cut.
Don't bother e mailing them with any requests, they don't reply.
Although we did have a good relaxing holiday, we won't be going back to that hotel.

Room Tip: If arriving late at night and offered an attic room, take your cases back down stairs and do not mov...

Our second time at the Turquoise Hotel and once again very pleased with our choice.Ideally located for an evening walk to the bars and shops if required whilst far enough away so as not be be disturbed.Staff always helpful and ready to please.Reasonable selection of food at meal times with the "Turkish Night" our favourite dining "al fresco" on a lovely warm night in October.Turkish Wedding on site on our last night which was very loud until midnight but great to see as a spectacle.(only wish the Hotel staff would have informed the guests it was happening!)Oludeniz is a great place for a holiday irrespective of age as there appears to be something for everybody and the Turquoise offers good value accommodation and reasonable food. Our only whinge with the exception of the unannounced Wedding Party relates to the temperature of the swimming pool which is kept constantly freezing for some bizarre reason.

Room Tip: We always opt for Bloc 2 with preference for rooms 214 through to 216 giving good location and a lit...

Having stayed in Olu Deniz a number of times before, our large family group thought we'd give the Turquoise a go having read some favorable reviews.Check in good even with a few problems around room sharing ,all sorted quite quickly, disappointed that no food available as we were delayed on our flight in.Taken to our rooms and we were not disappointed,we had requested mid floor rooms, what we got and i do not know what people are on about when they complain about the room size, my wife and i had a king size bed , single sofa-bed and room to fit a single bed, my only gripe is shower/toilet room, not big enough !!! Pool Area ,clean non slip matting around 2/3 of pool, plenty of sun beds around pool and extra's on grass area above pool.Bar, always well staffed with friendly efficient staff ,good selection of drinks available.Buffet restaurant, good selection for breakfast ie boiled eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, cereals, breads, salads, meats etc,etc .Evening meals pretty much the same a selection of meat dishes, fish, salads, sweets etc etc.Evening entertainment was good , evenings around the bar area were quite a friendly affair with many different nationalities mixing in together. The Terrace or a la carte restaurant ,as a family of 10 we ate there on the thurs night and all had a fantastic evening, good service, good food ,excellent wine, in very pleasant surroundings. Our BIG disappointment was on our last night SUNDAY, we started to think something big was going to be happening on Saturday when extra tables ,lighting rigs and staging started to appear on the grass area, nobody would reveal what was happening? So having been out for most of the day on Sunday i and my family returned to the hotel around 5:00pm and on passing by reception tried to book the a la carte only to be told that a Turkish wedding was being held there that evening so the a la carte was closed, not a happy budgie. As it turned out my family and i determined to enjoy our last evening went and had a lovely meal at the SULTAN AHMET restaurant at the far end (beach end) of the strip, would recommend this place to everyone, good food, service and reasonably priced, our party of 10 people payed £14 pound each ,starters ,main , beers and wines. On returning to the hotel around 9.45 to10:00 we were hit by a wall of noise, even when sat at the bar some 70-80 mtrs away you had to shout to speak to people on your table. My mother in-law being 88 yrs old decided to retire to her room just after 10:15 but soon came back out as the noise and bass tone was making the doors in the room rattle,as luck would have it the duty manager was sat at the bar so my brother in law and i went ask if the music could be turned down to an acceptable level, bearing in mind this was someones wedding reception we were not trying to ruin their night but as paying guests of the hotels our needs should have come first. We were told it was only a one off so could we bear with it!!!!!! We asked again ABOUT 10 MINS LATER as by this time the bar was being vacated by hotel guest at a rate of knots no good going to your rooms though!!!!!!!!!!My wife then went reception to complain and the duty manager was to embarrassed to see her and sent out an undermanager who said that the music would take at least 15 minutes to lower the volume , this was 11:30, much to everyone's relief at 11:45 is the music stopped. My POINT IN THE LAST BIT WAS THAT THE HOTEL SEEMED TO CARE MORE ABOUT A FAMILY WEDDING THAN 300 PAYING GUESTS FEELINGS, MANAGERS NOT STANDING UP TO WEDDING ORGANIZERS.Last night aside i would possibly return to the turquoise as overall it was a good hotel, friendly bar staff ,chefs, waiters and cleaners great rooms ,just a shame it is up the slope.

Room Tip: mid floor rooms, pool level.

Me and my wife have just returned from hotel after spending two weeks all inclusive returning on 11 October. This hotel is located just at end of main strip, 400 meters up slight incline. The location is ideal, away from the noise of shops and bars but only a few mins away if you want to get out. It is in a stunning location surrounded by mountains and i must say a very relaxing atmosphere around the hotel. We were in block 4, we had pool view, sea view, the room is basic, tv air con[free] safe £1per day,but i must say the rooms as well as the grounds were spotless, rooms were cleaned ,linen and towels changed every day.The pool and bar area was hosed down and cleaned every day.
Food in the hotel was ok , always plenty on offer but there wasnt a great deal of choice, it was always well presented and hot but repetative, unless you liked salad, pasta etc which was in abundance, if all else failed there was always the snack bar for sandwiches and chips etc. Drinks were ok, not a great deal of choice but always something . We had no problems getting sun beds, even mid morning and they are now on the grass so you are not cramped around the pool area.If you want there is a free bus to sea horse beach set on a lovely lagoon, free sun bed and you can purchase food and drink there, very nice and not expensive. The staff work really hard in the restaurant, bar and also the entertainment team, we had no problems , they were curtious and very helpful, you can see why people return year after year . i understand in the middle of the season it is packed but when we were there it was fine.I understand they are doing some modernisation over the winter to restaurant etc. The only down side to this hotel was the mosque, just up the road, i am alight sleeper and it woke me at 6.00 am in a morning[ear plugs required], but all hotels will have same problem in area. This is a good hotel and in a lovely location, you don't have to stay in hotel to eat and drink, there are lots of bars and restaurants near by and turkey is not expensive . Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there

Room Tip: We emailed before travelling for pool view and not on ground floor, which is what we got, also if yo...

We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and wanted to return and we were not disappointed. Everything lived up to our expectations. The food was excellent and the chefs always had a smile. The whole hotel was spotless. All the staff were extremely friendly and always ready to please
To get to the beach all you had to do was asked at reception for the dolmus to Seahorse beach and within a few minutes your transport was at the gate. The beach is sandy and the early birds get their choice of sunbeds. If you stay at the Turquoise Hotel the sunbeds and umbrellas are free but they like you to have a drink and/or meal at the beach café. The food here is very good also. Thank you to the staff at the Turquoise Hotel for a lovely holiday
