We are just back from staying for a week on bed and breakfast here, it was very relaxing, the staff were really friendly but not over powering. There were plenty of sun beds and parasols on which to spend the day.
The breakfast was excellent something for everyone, plenty of fruit, cheese cold meats etc. there was also hot food on offer, a chef to cook omelettes, eggs and pancakes. Selection of croissants and different breads on offer
Local buses stop outside to take you to the beach. Plenty of restaurants just outside the hotel and a few shops
We will certainly return

We have just arrived back from a fab two week holiday in Turkey. This was our third trip to Orka and was not disapointed.

We stayed in a villa again and would recommend villas for familys.

We also attended the bbq/turkish nights, its worth the money and the entertainment is fab.

Do take a walk down to Hisaranuo and try some off the local places to eat!

The Orka has a lovely childrens club and a number of pools.

Just back from this hotel we went for a week on 03/06/13 No complaint's whatsoever...The hotel doesn't look up to much from outside but that all changes when you enter..It is very clean everywhere, room's,the grounds, the food & the pool. The manager is a very sweet, lovely man who is great with everyone & it's not false & forced he is genuinely so sweet & helpful.all the staff were brilliant & not pushy at all.Mizzy (waiter) is a nice guy & Hadji is great fun & made me want to dance at the bar.The only complaint i had was the Thomas Cook rep' we had..which is nothing to do with the hotel. Our room was lovely, big enough & clean.I checked the bed&mattress and they were spotless.we were directly beside the bar & it was too noisy for us to sleep as we r not really party animals so we asked to be moved & we were given a room facing out the rear of the hotel, which was better for us.it was quieter & in the shade,so cooler. They were very helpful to us.We were delayed over night at the airport with NO sleep so we went for a turkish bath & full massage in the spa in the hotel grounds,it was fantastic & only 60 TL roughly £20.well worth it.We also used the gym in the hotel grounds it wasn't state-of-the-art equipment, but that is not a complaint,it was fine for us. The whole feel of the hotel & staff is relaxed & a great getaway. I would definately stay here again. The food is very ghood & we never found better outside of the hotel although for a quick lunch the cafe/takeaway stall opposite the Orca doe's a great freshly made burger/chips etc. you won't regret going there,it is cheaper than the hotel. the Orca's Spag' Bol' is amazing! At the pool there was always enough sunbed's without having to get there early at all.We never used the bottom pool with the slide,i think the few kid's were using that pool so we just stayed at the nearest pool, which was lovely, but quite cold but that was a good thing as it was in the 30's when we were there. You will NOT regret going to the Orca.Enjoy!

Room Tip: We preferred away from the bar,we got a room on opposite side of hotel from the bar area.

We just returned from a week here and we had a wonderful time and really hope to go back next year . The villas are beautiful, spotlessly clean and spacious. The moment we entered the complex, with a bellboy insisting on carrying all our heavy bags, we were impressed. It looks more 5 star than 4 star. Marble stairways luxurious pools, spa, Resteraunt and 2 bars. We immediately felt completely safe and relaxed . Nothing is too much trouble for the excellent staff . We didn't eat in the Resteraunt but the pool side snack bar were nice .
We ate at the Angora Resteraunt across the road almost every night . It had lovely food, good prices and friendly staff, the owner Smiley was particularly friendly and gave our kids free ice creams . There are several small shops nearby which sell the essentials like bread and milk . We are a family of 4 self catering . We arrived 10th June which meant it wasn't too hot or busy and sun loungers were in abundance . The villas are all dotted around near the pool, surrounded by shrubbery so you get the feeling of privacy. We had no noise problem as we had requested a quiet villa and as the pool bar and pool shut at 7pm so there wasn't a sound apart from the Call to Prayer. There was no iron available which initially concerned me, however I was so relaxed I didn't care about creased clothes . There is a lovely cool breeze round the pool as Club Orka is in the mountains , we ventured to several beaches but the cool clean pool and fun slide were much better . The slide is turned off some parts of the day for some annoying reason but it wasn't a big deal . We didn't go to any of the entertainment as it was 35 lira per head inc buffet and we didn't really fancy belly dancing etc. The Blue Lagoon is well worth a visit even though its not free like the other beaches . You can catch a Dolmus outside the hotel every 5 to 10 mins . It's very cheap . Olu Deniz and Hisoronu are nearby and worth a look but don't expect good shops . It's very tacky and full of bars and we were grateful to be staying in such a quiet lovely place . I would highly recommend Orka and Turkey to anyone .

Just returned from a weeks self catering stay in one of the Club Orkas 3 bedroomed villas. The standard of the accommodation was very good. The maid service was excellent, linen was clean and regularly changed.

My only complaint with the villa was the lack of kitchen utensils, it was if you were not expected to prepare any meals although I must admit the choice of bars and restaurants in nearby Hisaronu meant that there plenty of options to eat out. It would however have been nice to have been provided with a little more kitchen equipment than the very basic utensils supplied.

Bus service outside the hotel was excellent - buses were cheap and regular although could get a little overcrowded on local market days.

A good enjoyable week.

Room Tip: If you have young children ensure you are not located near to the bar area as could get noisy at night.
