Very good service at the bar, entertainment team work very hard and are not to pushy, Ercan & Max try very hard to please. Hotel food can be repetitive but then you do expect that with All Inclusive. They are always cleaning and collecting glasses. We will return and recommend this hotel for a fun and friendly holiday.

My wife & I have just got back from 2 weeks at the Alize. This was our first venture into All Inclusive and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We flew out with TC on the 8th May. We requested a quiet room and got one which we were quite pleased about.

Food:
There was a large amount of variations to the menu and you will be surprised just how many different meals can be made of chicken. Yea, Yea I know, same old, same old but! It’s not all bad don’t be put off by the wingers and moaners it’s all good honestly.
Lunch and evening menu’s always contained lots of various salads and plenty of vegetables & it’s not always chicken. Grilled fish, fried fish, meatballs, stews (beef & lamb) Plenty of hot vegetarian meals as well. Really all taste’s are catered for & even if you want to fly 3000km to have burger & chips (cips) Then they are available to you. Most nights the BBQ will be out and you can get meat shish & grilled veg.
Deserts are something else, again lots of variety and if you have a sweet tooth you’ll be going back up for more guaranteed. There is always tea & coffee as a hot choice of drink with orange, lemon, peach & cherry as the soft cold options in the restaurant.
Breakfast is generally a Turkish affair with cold meats, cheese’s & boiled eggs. They also have fried mushrooms, haricot beans in a tomato sauce, sliced sausage in an onion & tomato sauce, pre cooked omelette, or if you want to queue up they will cook you fresh omelette or fried eggs. (yes I know you have to queue, but isn’t that a great British trait?) You can also have toast, jam’s and sweet cinnamon cake’s.
Fresh loaf’s & flat breads are available at all meals, the flat breads are cooked on site in the snack bar.
Outside main meal times you can get burgers, chips, sandwiches, pide` , pizza and other snacks from the “snack bar” along with ice creams between 3 & 5pm & late snacks from 11pm to midnight.

Pool area:
The pool is large & free form. Depths go from 1.3mtr at the slide end & 1.9mtr at the deep end (nearest to bar) There are 148 sun beds & about 70 parasols (I counted) around the pool and it is physically impossible to squeeze any more in so I am afraid if you want either a prime spot or just a bed you may have to get up early and if you can’t get a bed the beach is public so you could always take a 5 minute walk and drop your towel on the course sandy\pebbly beach (which is stunning)
The entertainment team work hard at getting people to join in with aqua aerobics, water polo & other pool games which are all good fun.

Entertainment:
The team spend a lot of time interacting with the holiday makers, getting the kids to join in with various games, songs, dancing and plays. It’s not all top notch stuff but it keeps everyone interested & entertained and there is something going on every night be it bingo, quizzes, talent shows & outside entertainers coming in. Please remember these people work 7 days a week for 6 months from about 9am through to midnight for not a lot of money so before you whinge remember this.
Ercan (Erjan) Max & DJ to name but a few.

Bar & AI drinks:
The bar opens at 10am and closes around 2am you can get for free all local alcoholic drinks up until midnight. These include Vodka, Raki, Gin with mixers plus red & white wine. Efes beer is also available on tap and all these will be dispensed in plastic cups up until 7.30’ish when the pool is not in use and then the drinks come in glasses. After midnight all local drinks are 6TL & most branded drinks are 8TL. There is also coke, diet coke, fanta & sprite available from the bar, tea & coffee can be got there too, or water, orange, lemon, peach & cheery from the drink dispensers opposite the bar.

Rooms:
I can only comment on the room we stayed in (132) which is a twin (put the beds together and the maids will make them up as a super king) Toilet, sink & shower (we always had hot water and quite a strong stream) large dressing table with small stool. A window seat\bed, double robe & 2 bedside cabinet’s. There was a minibar & a 14” TV with limited channels (CNBC-e, TNT, E2 & BBC world news) in the room. The aircon worked well and a very small balcony with 2 small plastic chairs and a plastic table (it’s about 4’x4’)
The maids came in every day with clean towels, made the beds up and changed the bedding every other day & cleaned everywhere apart from the shower stall where signs of mildew were prevalent on the grout lines. But hey ho I can swing a cloth so no biggie.

Grounds:
The grounds & gardens are well tendered and you’ll always see the gardener pottering about.

Other facilities:
Sauna + hamam cost’s £13.00 & is over far too quick, and not too good either, you are better off jumping on the Dolmus & getting one in Hasaronu for £7.00.
Hair dressers & barbers shop, they do Turkish shave (face £3.00 head £5.00) Pedicure’s & Manicure’s are about £9.00, haircuts, styling & dyeing at varying prices. They offer a full suite of pampering & from what I have been told & seen its all good.
Gym is available I don’t know what cost if any but it’s there.
Pool towels are available from reception for no cost & these can be returned & exchanged when required. No doubt I have left out or missed some bit but I have been awake for 36 hrs so you'll have to forgive me :)

So in summary the Alize is a mid budget all inclusive hotel with excellent hard working staff, plenty of entertainment & lots of various tasty food and lots of drink. We enjoyed the hotel so much we are already looking to book for next year.

We stayed at the Hotel Alize recently for 7 days and on the whole found the hotel and location both very good.

After a 1 hour transfer from Dalaman we arrived at the hotel. First impressions were fine and the bedrooms are adequate. The rooms are not massive, but also are not overly small and certainly not tiny.

Food was fine throughout - yes a little repetitive but decent enough considering what you pay to go. Breakfast fresh omeletes were always good but please could the management buy a second cooker!!!!! Queuing was a hassle. Always best to try and get into each meal time early in order to avoid queues and get the best selection of food - not an ideal way though to dine. Daily BBQ's always tasty enough.

Pool - Nice and clean - but not enough beds around the pool which then either you need to put your towels out at the crack of dawn or spend the day else where. A tighter control on this 'bed claiming' I'm sure would be welcomed! I actually saw one person putting their towels out at 2am once!

Bar - Small but well formed! Beer was always ice cold and other drinks good too.

Play area for kids - Slides where fine, in need of a little TLC but useable all the same - my little boy loved them

Staff - I only ever encountered the stay as being very friendly - the on-site entertainment team are always around and very helpful too. Well done to 'Arkon' and the team.

Seahorse Bay - was close to the blue lagoon - had free transfers from the Alize and free beds and parasols too! Only 5/10 mins away. Better than the blue lagoon we thought.

Blue Lagoon - It was a little disappointing - not much there really and a charge to enter.

Turkish Bath / Massage - Do it!!! A great experience . A turkish shave was good to for the gents and only a £5 which included a shoulder message too!

Day Cruise
Book any where on the main strip - only £6pp!!!! Note though that there are some additional fees on some of the stops if you want to explore further than the beach front. Good day though and for buttons..........it even included a little lunch!

Dalaman Airport - Beware about Dalaman Airport on the way home - it is very, very, very expensive!! Big Mac Meal £12.50, Small Water and packet of Crisps £7 - you've been warned!!!!! Bring some food with you!!!

TIPS
Take English Money - most things are priced in £'s and sterling is preferred!
Take Aquashoes if going on the beach - they're a must
Try dining out at Shere Ahmet - it was lovely
Leave space in the case for fake goodies if you like them - there are so many!
Dalaman Airport is keen on charging for overweight cases! £10 per 1kg

I hope this all helps!!!!

We enjoyed the stay, early doors it was not too crowded, but the hotel may have the tendency to get busy - Oludeniz is a lovely resort and attractive too. The people are lovely too.

Lovely clean and basic hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, food was not very good ok if you like chips and rice , snacks were always pizza, burgers and chips, ice cream at certain times of the day but drinks available all the time, bar stayed open until 2 am. children were well catered for with lots of actitvites thoughout the day. The food really let it down, rooms were cleaned every day although some days our room wasn't done till late, 5 o/clock,
on a couple of days. Couldn't get a sun bed as towels were put out very early and some were even reserved for other guests so they had one when they came back from a walk. Pool looked lovely although we didn't go in as we couldn't get near it.Fresh fruit as a dessert would have been a nice change and some cold meats to go with the salad and pasta dishes.

I have just got back from a 10 day stay at the Alize hotel in Olu Deniz. Hotel is spotless and staff very helpful. I was not very keen on going all inclusive as I enjoy eating out but was surpised by the good food that was available in the evening. We had a grill every day with Fish or meat. Salads were varied and lovely Hummus and dips very tradition turkish food. Desserts were also nice. Breakfast was basic cereal eggs and bread but that suited me fine it would be nice if they had some fruit! We only had lunch a few times as we went on a few trips or had something out but it was ok too and a couple of times very good. Also snacks were good very yummy burgers, pizza's and the ice cream was good quality. Also the beer was good and the vodka and gin, my only problem was the wine tasted very bad. May was a lovely time to visit as the resort was not too packed!

I would go back but would be out of season as we noticed the bar getting busier towards the end of our stay. We are not pool lovers so only spent a few hours round the pool but it did a annoy me when people left towls and did not use the beds. I think this hotel is a good base in Olu Deniz! rooms very clean and near the beach lagoon and bars. We used the free shuttle bus to the lagoon most days as we found it more peaceful there. We also had one dinner out at Buzz bar I would highly reccommend it best food and lovely setting. Also the bars in Olu deniz are very nice we enjoyed going out for a couple of drinks most evenings. Prices are nearly same as the UK so it's good idea to go all inclusive.

hotel is clean and staff very friendly, yeah rooms are small but your not paying for 5star plus room.food is chicken day and night with other bits thrown in but if your not fussy you wont starve, excellent location for beach and nightlife. N joy bar very friendly and entertaining. this was are 2nd time at this hotel and 1st time we did get ear infections but then again a lot of young and older people peeing in water so not surprising, wouldnt pay £500 a week tho to stay there, but if you get a bargain price it worth it for a base in oludeniz. prices in turkey have gone expensive 12tl for a bacardi/vodka and coke, about £5. so get what you can at the Alize then go out and enjoy olu Deniz
