Just returned from the Magic Tulip this week, the hotel itsel is fine and clean with rooms being cleaned and towels changed daily, the maids are really friendly.Paying for the air con is a bit of a rip off as we went to Olu Deniz last year and did not pay for the air con in our hotel. We stayed half board going on what we had to eat last year in our hotel the Belchehan Beach but it was nothing like the food there, the same basically every night and not much choice and you only had an hour for food 7.30-8.30p.m The breakfast was turkish as expected but boiled egg, same meat daily, cheese bread and jam.You have to pay 2.50lev for cornflakes. Some people we got to know were put in the dungeon and asked to move but were told no because it was full.Like i said the hotel was clean but if you are thinking of going there just go B & B.The woman as many people have said does just sit there all day and night watching and changing money for the bar staff (Jason & Harry G) Jason is lovely but Harry can be a bit of a pain. The turkish night was good but if you are half board you should only pay 5 pound each not 10 so ask as this is your evening meal which you have already paid for, which we didnt pay for Turkish night las year in the Belchehan.Would definately got back to Olu Deniz but not this hotel.

This was my second stay in Olu Deniz and we had some worries after reading some reviews about this hotel. However , from the moment we arrived it was obvious that these were totally wrong and inaccurate. Our room was perfect and quite large and very clean and tidy. The staff were excllellent and never once failed to wish me good morning or good day. The cleaners were spot on and thorough. The bar staff were excellent fun and Harry G, Jason and Bohan made it a memorbale holiday. Harry G's (Emrah) laughing and dancing were hilarious and his outgoing and friendly personality made it easy for us to become friends. We ate at the hotel frequently and everytime the food and service was excellent and reasonably priced and nothing was too much trouble. Thorughly enjoyed the Turkish night and the buffet and entertainment was fantastic and only cost £10 per head which I feel is a bargain!
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly be going again next year..

We stayed at the Magic tulip and had a great time - you get exactly what you pay for. Our room was on the top floor with a huge balcony and it was kept clean and tidy at all times. The food in the hotel was excellent - especially at the Turkish Night - the buffet was outstanding! We went paragliding with Sky sports, which I would recommend. If you want to buy jewellery got to The Diamond Club which is near the beach, i bought a beautiful bracelet and it was the cheapest price I had been given and it was custom made to match my engagement ring. The owners are like a stand-up - really funny and down to earth.
If you are going to the Magic Tulip you will have a great time - it doesnt deserve the bad reviews!

The Magic Tulip is a pleasant hotel and was good value. The rooms were spotless. When we returned in the evening it was fun to discover how the towels were shaped. The rooms were great for a couple. As we had to pay adult prices for the girls it was good to have 2 rooms. For an inexpensive hotel we were impresserd with the bathrooms.Showers were cool in the mornings but hot if required before dinner.

We booked half board and would not recommend this - especially when they have a similar buffet every day. We would love to return for bed and breakfast. The bar was fine - prices seem consistent in most bars. Service from Harry and Jason was fine. I could not keep up with their long hours.

We did use the pool but as the hotel was reasonably priced we could also enjoy many fabulous trips. Ever Green Landrover Safari was the best.

me and my girlfriend spent two weeks at the magic tulip and really enjoyed it, we read the reviews and were a bit nervous about going. Couldnt of bin more wrong, harry and jason are very friendly. especially harry hes hilarious. The rooms are clean and the cleaners are always working hard and very friendly. The owner isnt the happiest person on the planet but she leaves you alone. Dont listen to the wingers moaning about nothing because it was one of the best holidays we have been on. Terry and Vick.
