“Fab holiday and returning again in october!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2013

Had a fab holiday in may of this year and can't wait to return again in october. Staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. Food was great..room clean nothing special but then you pay for what you get so it is more than adequate. The pool was spotless and very welcoming. As for food and drink....superb! The area is fantastic lots to see and do and the hotel is pretty central to everything. On chatting to other guests most seemed to be regular visitors to hotel every year and we can gladly say that we will now be doing same. All in all fantastic holiday and great value for money.

we arrived here after a delayed thomas cook flight to a further wait and a frosty reception. room was ok but basic and had lots of ants. cleaners were excellent. breakfast was more than acceptable. bread very fresh. serious problem with towels hogging all the sunbeds and not being used. pool dirty round the edges but water seemed very clean. serious problem with bar tab system. we paid every other day. staff more hard working than happy. would stay again if we got it for a cheap price. you get what you pay for.

Room Tip: pool view rooms are best but noisy.

I recently went to this hotel with three friends. Arrived from the plane at 5am to find bare beds and very messy rooms. They wanted to send the maids up at 9 but we wanted to sleep so we could get some of the next day in Oludeniz.

The staff (namely Mesut) lied to us and took our money under false pretences and tried to add food and drink onto our bill we have never ordered. We where told we where allowed to pay for food and drink we buy at the bar immediately, and that was okay for two days until a man behind the desk who is apparently the owners son VERY rudely told us we couldn't do that while threatening us physically, and that they never allow that in the hotel. So my advice, try to avoid him and pay off your purchases immediately if you can before it adds up.

Then on the last day one man named Mesut started screaming, threatening and swearing at the top of his voice to us. Stay well clear of him! He had held a grudge to us the whole holiday yet we had been polite and quiet the whole time. Luckily we where four teenage girls who where sitting quietly on our phones in a crowded bar and all of his guests saw the way he struck out at us when we where simply sitting there quietly waiting for our coach. Every single one of the holiday goers had there jaws open and came over to us to make sure we where okay straight afterwards.

The night we arrived we bought a weeks worth of air conditioning. Two days later it had broken and was leaking 10 glasses of water a day. I politely told the woman behind the counter as soon as we walked into the room and saw the mess yet three days of politely telling them later no one came to fix it even though I was told straight away the mechanic would be there within two hours.
Four days in a mechanic came.

The hotel was clean apart from the first night and the one person on the staff who was always pleasant and friendly was Jason. Try to book another hotel if you can, this place is simply not worth the trouble. If you are with a family though you should be fine. They singled us out for being young girls alone and caused huge distress. Also,we heard from MANY groups how horrific the basement rooms where and that they where filthy, dark and infested with cockroaches. Try to avoid those rooms if you are booking.

Luckily we simply stood our ground with other groups of holiday makers backing us up and demanded the money they took from us back, discount on the broken air conditioning and the removal of the food and drink from the bill we had never ordered and everything was sorted out. I will never go here again though. I would have had nothing bad to say if they had simply been polite and courteous back when we where giving them our custom.

I would STRONGLY recommend you NOT to go if you are simply with young friends. I have never EVER received such poor service from staff.

Room Tip: Avoid the basement rooms at all costs and try to have a room close to the pool or overlooking it if...

The Magic tulip hotel is located at a very convinient spot, walking distance to the beach and far enough from the loud Oludeniz nights. The rooms were clean and had a lot of space. The bathrooms were also satisfactory. The breakfast was a disappointment but aside from that it provided good value for its price.

Just returned from 2 weeks at Magic Tulip Hotel. It was anything but magic.arrived early very unwelcoming.showed us to dungeon room with no view at all.asked to be moved but had to wait for 5 nights, returned for an afternoonj nap to find ants on the bed, dressing table and all around the room. When we were eventually moved, the room overlooked villa beldeniz's entertainment area who insisted on having their music so loud that the whole of olu deniz could of heard it. We were half board, breakfast was poor, stale bread most days and only 1 choice of main course in the evening and nothing suitable for children.we spent all of our spending money on eating out every nite which wasnt our plan. not enough sun beds for size of hotel.STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED. writing separately to holiday company.

Room Tip: rooms overlooking pool area looked better. Otherwise dont book at this hotel, we wont.

Stayed at the Magic Tulip again as we did last year.We love this place the bar is great as you get to talk to all the guests before and after having your evening meal at any of the brilliant restaurants and Jason is a brilliant host as always.
Our favourite meals were at Blue Star,Small House,Sultan Ahmet and Captain Hooks.
It was 116 degrees so spent most of the time in the pool or sea.The pool was fine and seemed clean but as always people were leaving towels on the beds overnight.
The only bad point was when we had paid £20 to keep the room as we had a night flight the cleaners were knocking at the door 10 minutes before we were due to be out then Mesut came to try to help and explained to them they were too early and he apologised to us.Then the woman owner came to tell us to get out and then her Son in reception rang and told us to get out. What a stressful end to a brilliant holiday!
We love Olu Deniz and will go again but will think about staying somewhere else.

Room Tip: Pool view rooms are best
