came back yesturday and had A FANTASTIC TIME AT MAGIC TULIP I'd read the reviews before we went so wasnt exspecting the best BUT when we arrived we were greeted very warmly the room we had was very clean and was cleaned every day and clean towels every day.Family run hotel, who were very nice and helpful.Staff were excellent vert polite and helpful and always willing to assist with any information that we asked about and give times and advise the best way to go if traveling out of the resort, Jason,Curly and the other young boy were excellent fun and good to be around and happy to help. There was a problem with sun beds but we were told we could use the sister hotel which was a few minutes away but we didnt have to use this as we did get sun beds. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS HOTEL and ask people not to belive whats writen its only 2 star and should be more 1 of the best hotels that Ive stayed in.In Turkey great value for money

Most staff were friendly and helpfull but the nain barman is very rude and makes you feel uncomfortable. Would never stay here again because the last few days we were being ignored and told off fpr taking own tea bags to use!!!

Oh dear, oh dear, just awful, client run and badly, not going to go to deep into it, didnt stay there during day, only to sleep, no pillowcases first two nights, filthy under the bed, shower black and leaking, blonde hair stuck to walls in bathroom off hair-dryer (which wouldnt blow a candle out) one chair on the balcony as to small for two, no main light in room for five days. I feel sorry for Arif, he is a genuinely nice guy who works the bar. Cobwebs and deep gouges on wall in bedroom, absolutely just awful, second worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Would not go back here free. Do not book this hotel, there are plenty of clean friendly welcoming hotels to choose from.

I came back this morning and only wish i would have booked for two weeks rather than eleven nights. This was the best holiday ever. The staff are fantastic and the rooms cleaned every day. The hotel has a great feeling about it.Warm and friendly. The food is good and i will be going back as soon as i can. Give this place a go you will love it. Sharon and Pete. Manchester.

Just come back from another AMAZING 2week stay at magic tulip but this time with my 4 month old son and partner. I love this hotel and all the staff everyone is so friendly we had a nice large room that was cleaned everyday and fresh towels each day too. We managed to get a sun lounger when we wanted one alrhough people do leave towels out on them! I can't fault this hotel at all it was great when I stayed with Friends and it's great now I stay there as a family my son got lots of cuddles from everyone too!!
You will always get a friendly smile and chat from Jason and arif behind the bar and ibo on reception is a smiley cuddly bear really!! Foods good ate there most day times and drinks are a good price too with a good selection to choose from.
The puppy that everyone seems to complain about too isn't as bad as they say he wasnt to far from our balcony and didnt wake us up so he can't be that loud!! We slept with the door open too!!

Breakfast is mainly the same but it will be in most hotels you stay in around the area there was 15 of us all in different hotels this year and we can all agree on that one!! I personally don't mind it if I'm actually awake for it!!
people need to read the positive feed back rather than the negative!! You get what you pay for its a small and friendly Family run hotel basic but clean its 2-3* don't book it and moan about it after if you expect more!!

We will be seeing you again in May :-D keep up the good work :-) xx

We came back today after spending 7 nights in the Magic Tulip,We where recommended this hotel by a friend who goes to Olu Deniz every year!!!! We where really dissapointed!!!! Lucky we had read a review on here about the basement rooms, so where ready for that, when they tried to show us a basement room 1st we showed them the booking form with garden/pool view, we where given another room, the room was nice the beds and shower where really clean, 2 BIG draw backs to this hotel 1 SUNBEDS as most people on here have said, not enough, the same people have them all the time, we didn't even go to the pool in the end,2 the DOG, they have a puppy who lives in a kennel by the reception, this is a puppy who hates suitcases, with so many people coming and going all the time, the dog was always barking, so if your staying here you do need to pack you EAR PLUGS, we had a good holiday it is a nice place(Olu Deniz) but think about this hotel!!!!! There's a great bar just down the road called "1 for the road" it's good in there they don't sell food, so it's great just to have a drink

We have been going to Olu Deniz since 2004 and cannot fault the resort in any way, its beautiful and so relaxing. This time however we chose to stay at the Magic Tulip, never again..

On arrival the receptionist was really unfriendly and tried to charge us for a fridge which we didnt want, and then said the air con was £5 a night which is a lot compared to other hotels. The barman took our cases up to the room (220) which was a lovely room with a large balcony overlooking the pool, but we realised after that we had infact got lucky because there was only 2 rooms like this. The rest of the rooms were either downstairs underground in the basement or were generally quite small.

The sheets on the bed didn't fit properly and there was no bedsheet to sleep under only a heavy top quilt which was too hot and uncomfortable to sleep under. Some of the towels given were obviously new and had the hotel name on them, but others were like old rags that if you had at home you would use to wash the car.. they were not changed daily, probably every 2 or 3 days, and even the 'clean' towels weren't pristine white towels as normally given by the hotels in the area..
the maids themselves had no routine. sometimes they would knock on the door at 8am wanting to clean, but other days we would go back to the room at 4pm and they would be in there cleaning.. and it is true they turn the air con off when they go in. we took a bottle of coke up to the room and for the 2 weeks we were staying there, never once was the glass in the room cleaned. we ended up drinking from the bottle and just leaving the dirty glass on the side.

the bar staff are lovely, they are hard working and easy to talk to. its just a shame the receptionist and the maids werent too friendly as they let the place down.

the other thing is that they have a room tab system for drinks and food at the hotel, which is a good idea if done properly.. but they do it on the basis that you just tell them what room number you are. with the boys behind the bar this is fine, after a day or two they remember what number you are anyway, but the girls who help out behind the bar some days have no idea and you could tell them any number.. which is what happened to one of our party as someone had put pizzas chips spaghetti and drinks on the room which we refused to pay for as we had not eaten at the hotel, and were just told that really we should have paid our room bill every day as how do we remember what we have had for 10 days?!
dont worry, it wont happen again as we wont be coming back!

the sunbed situation was aweful. it would not take much for staff at the end of the day to remove any towels on beds and just put them on the railing or something, but instead they just dont bother and so if you want a sunbed you have to leave your towel out for all of your stay. no good if you want to go to the beach! and while we were there another guest had his towel stolen. so not really a great system!

as i said its a shame about this hotel as the boys are lovely behind the bar and really do work hard but the other staff and the hotel itself let them down.

Room Tip: dont go above the restaurant as its noisy in the mornings for breakfast, but go overlooking the pool...
