Plenty of trip agents to pick from in Oludeniz- but non better than Guide Tours.

Located on the main dolmus road, two offices, the upper one is manned by the lovely Tara (Well travelled American lady who is highly knowledgeable of this area of Turkey, gives great advice and no hard sell) We booked a jeep safari and would have booked others but already had our own day trips planned, so time didn't allow.

Guide use a company called Evergreen for their jeep safaris.
Safe jeeps, frontfacing seats with seatbelts, full safety briefing given (no standing when moving, belts must be worn, when and at who water guns can be fired etc) Jeeps were driven sensibly at all times. Our Trip guide, Michael, was very entertaining throughout. A little off roading along gravel tracks, visits to Yaka park (plus lunch), Saklikent gorge (and floating on ringos down the river) and a mudbaths- with the odd waterfight along the way!
Great fun and a good way to see the wonderful Turkish scenery. (big thanks to 'Action' the onboard photographer for some fab pics)

Definitely recommend Guide Tours (not the cheapest, but it's the quality of experience that matters!)

Can't wait to book with them again next year- thanks Tara!

We booked 2 trips with this company. First trip was the sunset cruise, as our hotel was just up the road from the pick up point we met the skipper of the boat at the office. We were met aboard the boat by a very pleasant crew. As promised by Tara the guide tours rep there were only a few passengers aboard the vessel. We were offered drinks by the vessels photographer and several photos were taken throughout the evening. The vessel stopped at 2 islands for photo opportunities and plenty of time to relax. Food aboard was very nice chicken, rice and salad. We were shown a dvd of the photos (very good and excellent quality) and were amazed at the price £8. A highly recommended trip.
The next trip we booked was a trip to Saklikent, Tlos and the trout farm. WELL WHAT CAN I SAY other than book it NOW. Although by no means a history buff the first part of this amazing day was a trip to Tlos. The guide Memhet was OUTSTANDING he seemed to know all about the history of this amazing place. He is a credit to his country and guide tours. We were taken round this amazing place and he chatted to us all about the history and even gave us tips on the best location to take photos. A quick stop for coffee and we were off again, next stop the trout farm. The freshly caught trout was amazing and served with fresh salad mmmm. Off next to Saklikent this place is a must see, Google pictures of it. A lovely walk along the gorge to take the mandatory photos then time for a relaxing coffee for me not so for the wife. The wife just had to have a go at the white water rafting in her words WHOOOOOOO FANTASTIC. So to sum up for £18 pp you just cant afford not to do this trip it was a great day organised by a lovely lady and guided by a fantastic tour guide. Do yourself a favour and go see Tara she is amazing.

We actually booked our boat trip through Gravity, and met at 10am at Gravity but walked down to the beach and got on the Guide Tours boat.

We'd booked the 6 island "small quiet boat" trip - maximum of 30 people per boat. We sat on the boat for around 30 minutes before we set off, it was super choppy and we all felt ill, but we were fine once we got set off. There was approx 22 people on board, so plenty of space and sunbeds / beds in the shade available.

The man on the boat, taking pictures / bringing drinks round really was lovley, he spoke excellent english, and interacted with the 3 young boys we had with us very well.

Lunch was cooked on the bbq at the back of the boat & was very good quality, chips were extra as usual but they were a large portion & very tasty!

We couldn't stop at the blue water cave due to the choppy water, but they went close enough for us to take pictures, then onto an hour at butterfly valley, aquarium bay where we had lunch, Nicholas island, cold water spring & camel beach.

We got back at 17.30, having had a thoroughly enjoyable day.

We bought a CD of photographs - there were 94 great pictures for 60 lira, bargain!

Will definitely book this boat again when we return next year.

As soon as you arrive in Olu Deniz it becomes very clear that tours of the local area, visits to various attractions and boat trips are all big business and there is no shortage of companies offering very similar if not identical products.

As with anything I like to do my research before I commit, therefore we decided exactly which trips we wanted to do and then spoke to various companies on and around the main strip and received several quotes. Whilst doing this I was reccomended Guide Tours via a Facebook group and advised to speak with Tara, having visited to find Tara not there, I was helped by a colleague and booked me and my group onto the Dalyan-mudbath-turtle beach trip. We later met Tara and she was lovely, very friendly and actually works out of a shop a little further up the road so if you're visiting carry on past the first guide tours office and go and see Tara about 50 metres further up the road next to Dreams Bar.

The trip was a little more expensive than those offered by the blokes that approach you on the main strip but was well worth it, we were picked up from our hotel at 8am and didn't get home till nearly 7pm so a full days trip for just £19 each. Lunch was included and everywhere we went on the day was fantastic, very well organised and professional throughout.

The day was made by our tour guide, Mehmet, he was knowledgeable and very funny placing everyone at ease throughout the day, he even gave everyone a lucky turtle charm to remember the trip.

All I can say is do not use the companies on the strip as having spoken to the majority of them and compared them all guide tours is head and shoulders above the rest!

We had the pleasure of going on the Dalyan Mud Bath trip, camel trek and also the sunset cruise with Guide Tours. All 3 trips were amazing! Tara who arranged all 3 trips did so to exactly what times and dates we wanted. I would recommend anyone who is thinking of booking trips whilst on Olu Deniz give Guide tours a visit you wont be disappointed.
