“Friendly Hotel”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

We stayed here for 2 weeks and loved it.Staff are really friendly especially Honour and Victor who have a great sense of humour.Rooms kept clean by the maids each day.Meals excellent at the hotel .Spoilt for choice with eating out but we loved the Jade Restaurant and Buzz Bar,terrific views and music..Turkish people are lovely.Made lots of friends while here and will definantly go back.

Room Tip: Ground floor room 603 is good.202 dark and noisy.

Just returned from 8 nights at the Ata lagoon ....first night we arrived were informed our room had a problem with the toilet so we were allocated another just for one night ( room 509 ) ..situated on the ground floor ...quite a big room comprising of a double and single bed but on opening the door to the terrace the view was of a brick wall , also bathroom quite mouldy. We were told that if we liked this room we could of stayed in it, but we decided against this.
The next day we were allocated room 204, this was on the second floor , view overlooked the garden and was one of the recently refurbished rooms. Lovely views and very clean. double bed very comfy. My only critiscism of this room was the light in the bathroom was so dim you could barely see ... and also the hairdryer was one where you had to constantly keep your finger on the button for it to work.
Another slight issue is no facilities to change if leaving late in the evening.
The staff at the hotel were lovely and we never felt pressurised to eat in the restaurant ...as it was we did on quite a few occassions as the food was lovely and you received 10 % off your evening meal. Breakfast was buffet style, cereal, cheese, cold meats . toast etc ....
Free wi fi avaialble at the hotel, and also in most bars in the resort.
We never really had a problem with getting a sun bed around the pool, but did get up to put towels down on a couple of occassions as other reviews said getting sun loungers was a problem.
A must see is the Blue Lagoon, very pretty and peacful, costs 5 lira to get in and additional charges for sun lounger and parasol, but definitely worth a visit ... we went there 3 times !!!
We went on the day trip to Dalyan/Turtle Beach/mud bath ... had a lovely day made even better by the turkish people who also came on the trip and ended up dancing to turkish music ...it was very entertaining.
We would recommend The buffalo restaurant who have an Elvis act on Tuesday and Friday nights, not the best singer in the world but very funny, and the food is very nice but slightly more expensive than other restaurants. Captain Hook cocktail bar also very nice.
The Lycian Dreams hotel bar ,just up the road from the Ata Lagoon has very lively entertainment most nights involving fire eating, blow torches and engulfing the bar in flames ....lots of dancing by the staff ..... really enjoyable.
We really had a fantastic holiday and would certainly recommend the Ata lagoon hotel to stay .... looking forward to going back again next year.

Room Tip: Rooms on ground floor are being refurbished for next year , but ones around the back of the main blo...

Stayed at the Ata Lagoon for 2 cracking weeks 8/9/12-22/9/12 had walked past this many times on our previous visits to Oludeniz when staying in the old and in my opinion better Montebello Hotel, little did we realise what a super hotel/restraunt this was.
From the minute we arrived to the day we left the staff were friendly, helpfull and fun.
Food in the restraunt was of excellent standard plus a 10% discount if you were staying there.
Needless to say we ate there on numerous occaisions.
We stayed in room 505 which had its own patio area right next to the pool area which was very nice with well kept garden areas it also overlooked the bar area which served snacks during the day and loverly cold efes beer day and night.
Rooms were kept well cleaned and cleaners always had a smile for you.
Definately booking for next year, can't wait.

Room Tip: pool side rooms 502-506 or in new block 1st floor facing pool bar area

A very friendly Hotel, excellant staff, rooms are a little dated but clean, some we beleive are a little smaller than others, great location only a short walk down to the beach, if you want a sunbed by the pool you need to be an early riser, beds usually reserved by 7am.
Breakfast served between 8 & 10, plenty of choice of cold cuts , fruit cereal and cakes, and the option to have something cooked if thats what is preferred.
Evening meals in the resturant of a very high standard and resonably priced, and as a guest you receive a 10% discount.
All things considered if we were to return to Olu Deniz for another holiday the Ata Lagoon Hotel would be high on the list of places to stay, a value for money Hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors of the blocks overlooking the pool are quite nice, the gound floor r...

Stayed for 11 nights at the Ata lagoon, very quick check in. Stayed in room 209 very nice decor but my husband being 6'1 slanted ceilings not too good. Breakfast ok but what a nightmare getting a sun lounger in the morning, i just dont think there were enough for the amount of people staying there. Nice hotel nice staff but would'nt rush back to stay there.

Nice ltille hotel off the strip
Very friendly staff . Towels are a problem by the pool as people are very inconsiderate, but we always found somewhere on the grass so not that much of a hardship.
Rooms and very clean with the exception of our bathroom 509, could do with new shower and bleach for the mould but only there for a week so put up with it
Bar man great and so friendly. Have stayed at the Karbel for 2 years before this but would go back to the Ata.
