My partner and I first visited the Anfora in 2009 and said we'd take my son on his first visit to Turkey. As usual Turkish Dave was there to welcome us with some "cockney" banter.
Once inside we were seated and given the menus to peruse along with a drink. Our waiter was fantastic, enjoying a bit of a laugh while we ordered.
Before our starters we were brought a huge piece of puffed up flat bread & dips. The starters followed shortly after and were well presented & beautifully cooked. Once the mains were ready they were brought to the table "on flame" and served in a very professional and practiced manner.
The food tasted as good as it looked. The meat was melt in the mouth tender, the sauce & accompanying veg were cooked perfectly.
When we'd finished we were offered deserts which we declined. We were then offered complimentary coffee which was the perfect ending to a perfect meal.
We still have a week to go of our holiday & will definitely be going back to the Anfora for another meal.
