“Tulip well worth a visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2011

We stayed at the new Orange hotel next door and after a visit for lunch one day we found ourselves coming back most days for a drink or lunch. The bar staff was very sociable and always had time to talk as well as being helpful and would always go out of the way to ensure you had everything. the seafood salad was amazing you have to try it.

we didnt see the hotel rooms but this hotel has our vote.

After reading the reviews on several hotels I had shortlisted. I kept going back to The Magic Tulip Beach and I am so glad this was my choice. My husband and I arrived early hours on 20th June and Cihan (who is just so cute) checked us in and showed us to our room, which had just been totally refurbished and freshly decorated it was lovely plenty of space for your clothes etc. The bathroom was also fully tiled and had a great shower and we aways had hot water. The maids came in every morning fresh towels all white and fluffy were left in nice displays on the bed.

I would like to thank Ahmet who is the manager of the sister hotel Magic Tulip just a few minutes up the road, he is a lovely guy and was so helpfull.

The staff Jenola,Sadar (Jack), Eren, and Cihan were excellent nothing was any trouble for them especially Jack who kept us amused with his antics.

The owner Hussain was there most days and nights and always had a smile or a wave for you and indeed Stewart and I joined him most nights for a nightcap......

The pool area was great very clean, in fact I watched the maid hoseing down the area and all the beds and mattresses every morning and there were enough sunbeds to go around so no problems there.

The food was great although we were B & B but I would not hesitate to book Half Board next time. We did have a few lunches and evening meals too, and the presentation of the meals were excellent and the chef should be complimented.

The breakfast was a typical Turkish one but had cereal, plenty of cold fruit juice tea or coffee fresh cold meats, fruit and cheese with bread /cakes and a selection of jams etc. If you wanted you could order a full English breakfast but to be honest it was so big and certainly value for money, too much for me.

The location was excellent, seconds from the beach, shops and eating places. It was a nice leisurely walk to the Blue Lagoon which was lovely and also to Sugar Beach. The main beach nearest to the hotel was stoney and tended to dip quickly into deep water which was a bit rough for children and non swimmers but my husband likes the challenge of the rough sea but then he is a good swimmer, dont forget your beach shoes you can also buy them from the local shops.

There are certainly a good selection of eating and drinking places where we had a few good nights, with the most nicest people we met at the pool on our first day at the hotel, and in fact we spent most days and nights with them so a big thank you to Ian and Tricia and to Sean and Christine thank so much for your wonderfull company and enjoy the rest of your holiday and we will keep in touch.

My husband went paragliding with Hector arranged by the hotel and had a wonderfull experience gliding over Olu Deniz and landing so safely at the beach.

In my opinion they should keep the Magic Tulip Beach an adult only hotel, because of its size it was nice to see the same people every day and we all got on so well at the pool and if we met at meal times and in the bar at night it was a great atmosphere and everyone got on so well.

To sum up our holiday it was excellent, great value for money and YES we will most certainly be going back.

A big thank you to everyone at The Magic Tulip Beach Hotel.

Love to everyone xxxxx

Regards
Stewart & Jane
Scotland.

A group of 8 friends, we stayed at the Magic Tulip Beach Hotel at the end of April. It's in an excellent location, virtually on the beach. The rooms were compact but spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. The pool area was also well maintained with plenty of beds. We stayed bed and breakfast, and the food was basic but decent and there was plenty of it. The food available in the bar at lunchtime was excellent, very good value for money. The only time we ate there in the evening was at the Turkish Night, again no complaints. The Turkish Night was a bit cheesy, but everyone joined in and had a really good night. However, what really made the holiday was the staff - the bar staff led by Ginola and Jack worked tirelessly to keep everyone happy - cheerful no matter how early or late it was. The young waiter (sorry I can't remember his name) and the guy who resembles Borat and works at the other Magic Tulip Hotel (but helped out on the Turkish Night) were equally good - we couldn't fault any of them. All 8 of us would be quite happy to go back again, either together or with our families.

What a horrible little hotel, the only good thing about it was the fact it was near the beach. The guy who worked in the reception/bar was just a rude little man. Hot water was off for a full day, so, no shower that day......no apology either. The "food" at breakfast was very poor, we went out for our breakfast even though we had paid for B&B I could't put my stomach through that! The rooms themselves although looked clean, where not, damp in the shower room, nasty smells from the bed linen, and damp towels placed on the beds.......albeit in a nice pattern...........but still damp. I could, and did write my name in the dust. If you want to go to Olu Deniz then I would certainly recommend it, but don't stay here, there are much better hotels!

Me and my mum stayed here last year and it was fantastic, food and staff was perfect and pool was amazing, very clean and well kept, right on beach just a 30 sec walk and your there. My mum went back again this and she says it was still fantastic, please don't confuse this hotel with it's sister up the street which is the magic tulip not beach, highly recommended.

We arrived at the MTB at about midnight and the staff were quick out of the blocks to help with our cases and check us in quickly. The room was very clean and tidy with fresh towels every day and the pool area was spotless with plenty of sunbeds to go around.Apparently the owner (who also owns the Magic Tulip) is putting in a lot of money upgrading this hotel every year to get it to a higher standard and you can really tell as when we booked it was down as a 2 star plus but is (in our view) at least 3 star already and there are more upgrades going ahead this winter so get in now as the price will undoubtedly rise as the stars do! The bar staff-'Jack' (Serdar) and 'Goatee' (i don't know his real name) were always friendly and can't do enough for you.The guests organised a pool tournament between ourselves while we were there and the bar staff, the owner and his son all paid their 10 lira and joined in and a good night was had by all.The Turkish night is a must and for 25 lira (£10) per head you can eat as much as you want, see a belly dancer who gets everyone to join in and a ninja twirling fireballs around his head - seeing is beleiving! The resort itself is small and can easily be strolled around in under an hour with plenty of shops, bars and lovely restaurants. The blue lagoon is a lovely part of Oludeniz and the sea is very calm and warm. There are plenty of activities such as paragliding and quad biking if that's your thing, or boat trips for the less adventurous. This was the first time either my girlfrind or myself had visited Turkey and like everyone we'd heard the stories of bar/restaurant/shop staff hassling people to get them in their place, well i can say 100% that does not happen here. They all talk to you as you go past and invite you in but they don't move from the front of their establishment and if you choose not to go in they just say 'see you tomorrow'.All in all i can say that the Magic Tulip Beach is a lovely hotel and Oludeniz is a beautiful resort and we would happily go back tomorrow.A BRILLIANT HOLIDAY!!
