If anyone is due to have a wedding at this beautiful venue, you are so lucky. We were married here on the 15th of September. Everything was just perfect, we couldn't have asked for anything more. If you get the chance to have Demet as your venue organizer, you will have the best of everything, she couldn't do enough for us, every beck and call was taken care of. The owner of 'sugar beach' was also a fantastic help, nothing was too much trouble. It is hard to put into words how wonderful and amazing our day was due to these people, in fact if we could have done it again the next day, we would have done. Go on the web site for sugar beach club to see just how amazing it was, trust me it was.
Can i also say that we had 40 plus guests for our wedding reception and the staff treated each one as if they were there the only ones there and gave them their un-divided attention, the food was amazing and bursting with flavour.
I would advise anyone to at least visit this place, even more so to have an event or wedding.
100% positive.

Room Tip: we didn't stay here, we just had it as our wedding venue and that was amazing

We attended a wedding here at the end of August and stayed for a week. This was one of our most relaxed and chilled holidays so far. It was an amazing wedding venue - everything was arranged so stunnningly and the organisers, photographer (amazing!) and staff were like one of the family yet so professional.
As a holiday resort, it is a safe and picturesque spot in Oludeniz. Being right on the beach means you can pop back to the bungalow to use the loo, top up your cold water from the fridge or just cool down under the air con. Other holidays we've had we've had long hot walks back and forth which can be so tiring - especially if you have children. The bed was a queen size with Egyptian cotton sheets and extremely comfortable. The air con is a must. No mosquitoes were seen (or heard!!!) the whole holiday! Nice wet room shower/toilet all cleaned regularly.
You can walk into the main town in the evening in 15-20 minutes or get shuttled in for free from the resort. The food was good on their menu or there are plenty of restaurants in the main town or turn left instead out of the resort to visit neighbouring resort restaurants.
The sea was like a bath and so safe for children with no nasty creatures to worry about. You can swim (or practically walk) across to the other side where you can lie by the reeds and watch out for those beautiful Kingfishers. There are pedalos to hire from the resort as well.
The staff are all lovely and all appear to love their work there. In the short space of a week, we saw some very good daytime and evening free entertainment. The best belly dancer I have ever seen (male!), amazing fire eater, incredible acrobatics/dancers, singers etc - all first class compared to other holidays we've had.
Bearing all this in mind, together with free sunbeds/parasols and breakfast, this works out very good value for money at what - 150TL a day? The equivalent of a Travelodge room!
We are certainly considering all going back again next year for a family reunion! Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

Room Tip: Go for the 'luxury bungalow' as it is really worth the little extra

This was our first trip to Turkey together and we couldn't have stayed at a better place. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed and friendly. Our standard cabin was just fine and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time and enjoyed it so much that we'll be staying there again next year.
We didn't really like Oludeniz itself - a bit too touristy for our liking, although there are some nice resturaunts there on the prom. We spent most of our time relaxing at Sugar Beach - everything you need is there - especially with the beach and lagoon literally on your doorstep!
You get a breakfast with the room - served from 9-11. There are English breakfasts available but we always went for the Turkish breakfast - very nice! You also can drink as many cups of tea/coffee as you like.
The beach has an excellent view of the scenery around the area and catches the sun all day long. After a while it can get quite hot so we often went for a dip in the lagoon to cool off. With the cabin you can also reserve a bed on the beach, which you can also order food and drink to.
Overall - a really great place, loved it!

We just finished a four night stay in one of the "luxury bungalows" at Sugar Beach and we really enjoyed our stay. The luxury bungalows are the newest at the club; they are a good size with a nice queen sized bed, a couch, room to move, and a nice bathroom with plenty of pressure in the shower. As well, all bungalows had a nice little patio with a couple of chairs. I can't speak for the other the other two rows of bungalows, though they looked very basic and not as enjoyable.

The beach is the nicest one we visited on our trip to Turkey, not as rocky as the rest, actual sand! Many tourist from other hotels come to the beach in the morning as the hotel offers a free transfer, to and fro. We never had a problem finding a lounger in the morning as other reviews have stated. I put our towels out at 9 am everyday and had my pick of all the chairs. The water is nice, very warm and great for just hanging out in, certainly good for kids.

The restaurant is the only downside to this hotel. The service is good, the place is clean and well run, but the food is mediocre at best while being very over priced at the same time (Go to Buzz Beach Bar in town for an amazing meal at almost the same prices). The breakfast, which is included,is minimal. Most of the food is prepared in the morning and reheated when ordered later on.

In any case, a nice location, cool little cabins, and a super quiet place to enjoy a few days of relaxation.

Room Tip: I would only stay in the luxury cabins.

Been here in the day time. Nice place and service is good so we decided to check out the BBQ Night.

My advice is to completely skip it because it spoiled it for us.

The BBQ was non existant. Bit disappointed we ordered off the main menu. They had no salad and no vegetables. Which basically removed 80% of the menu and left just pasta and burgers. This then took them 90 mins to cook and the meals all came put at completely different times.

Service was really bad, and had to ask for drinks multiple times before we got it.

Oh and the "fire dancer" was a male belly dancer that looked very out of place Not that I minded it just wasnt what was advertised and kind of put a cap on a dissappointing night.

This is a great beach in the daytime. It just seemed to go to the dogs in the evening.

I stayed here with my sister & overall it was a good choice for us. The beach club is a leisurely flat 10 min walk to Oludeniz town, which we found very touristy, but if you look far enough you can find nice places to eat & drink.
Sugar beach pros - luxury cabins are v comfortable, clean towels & linen everyday, sun loungers & parasol complementary for guests, staff very friendly, easy beach (the main beach in Oludeniz is pebbley & hurts bare feet), quiet at night.
Sugar beach cons - beach can get busy so pop your towel on a lounger before breakfast, no hot water til the afternoon (we actually found this worked ok in the end as you go into the sea all day then shower in the aft anyway), breakfast is one choice it is a turkish breakfast which was nice but I didn't always feel like it everyday, the food was decent there but other restaurants in the town serve nicer and similar priced food, they play music in the day which wasn't too loud but it was pretty much the same songs everyday which got a bit tired.
Summing up, I would say the sugar beach club needs a few minor improvements, but this does not spoil a stay there, it is very relaxing & easy.. Eat at Jade, Oyster residencies or Buzz Bar (the first 2 are more relaxing), & go for a cocktail at the secret garden.
