Previously an olive oil factory (and a soap factory before that) this place is tastefully converted to a boutique bed and breakfast. The rooms are a little small and most of them get their sunlight from a sky window. The bathrooms is very clean and new. Beds are comfortable.
The breakfast is full of local dishes and quite extensive. The staff is extremely kind and helpful.
Book ahead for spring and fall. Being "the" place to stay, it fills up real quickly.

Savon hotel is located nearby the historical center of Antakya, walking distance to many major sites and attractions (including the famous archeological museum in Antakya). The building (renovated from an old soap factory into an high-class hotel but maintaining its local soul) was amazing. The open buffet breakfast is rich and offers variety of local food (even new for many Turkish people like me, who visited Antakya first time). There is a significant contrast between the hotel and the surrounding region, which seems to be the domestic middle-market business region of Antakya, but it really adds up to your experience when visiting such a city with a rich and mixed culture. The pricing may be a little bit expensive compared to the average in this city; but I believe the benefits overweigh the cost for a short visit.

Room tip: For families travelling with children, I would strongly recommend the suit room which has two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Staff, hotel, room, breakfast, location all perfect. Next time to stay here again. Hotel has a free park place. Breakfast includes all local tastes but also international staff, including omlet as you wish.

The hotel is nice, but a big problem is that they host very loud traditional weddings in the courtyard and since all the rooms are very close to the courtyard by design there is no way to escape the noise. The weddings go on until after midnight and if you are trying to put kids to sleep or have a quite night in your room, it will be very difficult.

Even though the hotel and staff were nice, I cannot recommend this hotel. The noise level during weddings (common in the summer) is not acceptable. Imagine loud drums being played 10m away from your room.

The hotel building is an old oil and soap factory. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, but some rooms don’t have ordinary windows, instead a roof window.
You have to try the regional dish “kisir “ served in the afternoon for free. Surprisingly delicious .
