“Amazing Hotel SUSESI=Amazing Holiday....”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

WHEN YOU ENTER THE HOTEL YOU KNOW WHY ITS CALLED SUSESI.....
Me and my boyfriend went to Susesi Hotel for the first time, we was greeted by the receptionist girls which was very polite. while we was waiting for our room to be ready coz we went early then checkin time she offered us cold beverges. The Hotel is very very clean all over... the rooms, the restaurants, pools, bars, garden. i mean very where.
Me and my boyfriend was curious of how clean the main buffet restaurant kitchen is, so me and him went to the kitchen spoke to sous chef saying we would like a tour in our kitchen. He was not really suprised seeing us. It was very clean i would recommend everyone visiting SUSESI to have A TOUR in the kichen, I am saying tour coz its massive all sperate compartments for each food exp ( for fish, for white meat, red meat, vegs, bakery, massive fridge for frozen, desserts, cold meze preperation, warm meze preperation ans soooooo on) these have all seperate room or compartment whatever you call it. It has a very good kitchen, after seeing the kitchen you know your eating QUALITY food.
All the staff was very friendly, who ever we used to see during the whole day everyone saying Hi, Have a nce holiday and so on.
I was there for 2 weeks, its been 4 days im back to LOndon but i could say im already missing hotel and planing for next year at susesi hotel.
on the day we was going to check out, me and my boyfriend went all around the hotel to say bye to sooo many people you guys cannot imagine.
The amination group was really friendly, a lady called TORPEDA (from animation) was really kind and always giving me info about what activities will be during the day and eveving.
No one cant say that the staff is not friendly, the Staff overall 5* ( cheff, barmen, waiters, beachboy, safety guards) was very friendly,
The Ala carte restaurants where 10euro for reservation I did make it a very big deal when booking but honestly i did not go once because the main restaurant was incredible, The amount of different variety of food was soo much unbelieveable, food for every taste...
I was in block B where it was sea view and room facing to the gym + pool.
When i was there all rooms where full, there was at least 1200 people in the hotel and it was getting busier as we was leaving, the last 3-4 nights was very packed in the hotel, that does not disturb you because the staff knows what they are doing very well no one makes a single mistake, everything flows very smoothly.
The evening parties was good, the foam party was also very good, alot of activities you could in the hotel, everyday football match, everyday beach voleyball, congo, fitness activities, pool activities, there is soo much to do our 2 weeks was not enough for all activities.
I always go hotels when i visit Turkey this is my 4th hotel in Turkey but havents been to anywhere like SUSESI before. The main reason I picked this hotel was from tripadvisor reviews, I dont have any bad review about this hotel. Im glad I made the right choice otherwise my boyfriend would of bugged me coz I picked the \Hotel.
I would say if you want to visit Antalya DO NOT HESITATE FROM PICKING THIS HOTEL, I would say give it a try, you would not regret it, you would want to go back again.
I want to thank all Susesi Staff and specially THE EXECUTIVE CHEFF BULENT YILDIZ and FOOD AND BEVERGES MANAGER OSMAN BAKAR for making sure we are having the perfect holiday.
There is alot of people that deserves a thank you I cant remember there names but THANKS TO ALL AT SUSESI LUXURY RESORT....

Room Tip: All you need to do is just be friendly yourself and ask, they will make sure you are happy with your...

We were in the main block over looking the walk way down to the pool and beach for 10 days. The rooms were pretty spacious and relatively stylish. We were fairly early in the season so we moved around comfortably without much hassle in the first week although I would say if you go in early May things are just starting up so all the restaurants advertised may not be available. There were only circa 400 staying and it quickly builds up to over a thousand in season. The evening entertainment is what you will have become used to if you holiday a lot with the standard resident group (not bad) and the entertainment shows. Again in early May it was quite chilly in the evening and wet on a couple of occasion which meant the shows were moved inside. The day time entertainment is the normal stuff in and around the pool and the friendly entertainment team were generally from the Ukraine, Russian area etc

We went to the Susesi for the Belek Golf courses as much as the 5 star all inclusive and its our third visit to the area having stayed at the Cornelia Delux a couple of times. The golf manager is hard work to get hold of but he did arrange 3 rounds of golf for 220 euros which is a bit of a discount however some others said they got four for a similar amount via the manager. One word of advice if you are playing early in the morning and using the hotel transport, give yourself time to get to the courses, the hotel transport was late or did not turn up on all three occasion and took us to the wrong course on one. Check the night before with reception and again in the morning before your go to breakfast.

Despite the poor golf arrangements we will go back again hopefully when its warmer in the evenings although I suspect the restaurant could be much more of a challenge in season.

Room Tip: Some of the best rooms are the end suites with separate lounges, a couple of well separated private...

We spent a week in Susesi resort, and it was abolutely wonderful. The hotel was nearly full, but it wasn't noticable. We always found sun beds, without having to get up at 6 am, and there were always plenty of free tables in the restaurants. It was like a friction free holiday - no problems with anything.
We had booked 2 rooms with sea view. There were in the main building, which we thought was very convenient. One of our rooms had a great view from the balcony, while the other had not. The view from that room was mostly roofs of other buildings, while you had to stand in the corner of the balcony to see the sea. Still, they call this sea view, and charge extra for it. So you should we aware of this risk before paying exstra for sea view. We didn't spend much time in the hotel rooms anyway, so I guess we will not pay for sea view next time. We had standard double rooms, which was more than ok for us. Or rooms were large and spacious for three persons, and there was a bath tub in the bathroom + lots of soaps and creams, a bath robe for each person and hair drier. There are larger and more luxurious rooms available. They look amazing, but they are expensive, so if you do not plan to spend much time in the room or on a private balcony, I don't think they are worth the money.
We really enjoyed the pool areas. There are many pools, and they were never crowded. We were two boys of 16 and a girl of 12, and they sometimes had one of the pools to themselves, allowing them to play wild water games without being afraid of annoying others. The boys also enjoyed the water polo games and the crazy pool games that the entertainment team organized every day (except Sundays). We all liked the slides too, which was situated away from the other pools so that you did not have to hear the noise from the all day. For people who like a more quiet swim, without disco music and games, there was a very beautiful pool called the palm pool. It is surrounded by flowers and has small islands with palm trees, and it was just a feel-good experience to swim there. We also went for swims in the pools by the terrace houses, and that was just beautiful too (but I am not sure we were allowed). All pools and pool areas were very clean.
The food was wonderful, and we all could find something we liked, and the food changed every day, so we did not get bored with the buffes. The challenge was more to choose, since the variety was so large. Everything was fresh, tastfully presented and good. The service was also excellent. we always got drinks immediately after sitting down. All staff was very friendly and helpful.
I could go on and on, writing about positive surprises. The mongolian circus show was amazing, the ice cream man is a real artist always making people smile, the small classical concerts in the afternoon in the lobby bar is so relaxing, the live music in the evenings is fun, and the friendly and funny entertainment team always try to include guests in their activities. But the review will be too long if I were to write about it all. And there are still many things in the hotel we did not have time to explore.
I have three small complaints:
- the quality of the extra bed in the double rooms is not good. The matresses is so hard that you might as well sleep on the floor. As you often have to pay full price for the third person, I think this person also should get a comfortable matress.
- the hotel doctor does not speak English. My daughter got a black eye when playing in the pool, so we went to the doctor to ask for a cream to prevent swelling. It was just a joke. We had to communicate by using google translate - just typing on the computer. We just left again, happy that the injury was not serious.
- the spa is too expensive. Our boys wanted to try hammam, and they took a taxi to Belek and went to a Turkish bath there. That was excellent, and much much cheaper than the hotel spa would offer.

Have just returned (party of eight) three couples and two teenagers. It was heaven on earth. Reading reviews I find it quite strange people winging and moaning - WHY OH WHY - WE ARE SO LUCKY TO GO TO THE BEAUTIFUL SUNSHINE - MANY PEOPLE WOULD LOVE TO. The place is amazing, luxurious and spotless, the staff are so helpful - so what they cant speak great english at times but they get someone who can.

IT IS AMAZING SO MUCH SO WE ARE GOING BACK NEXT YEAR.

I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY FAMILY AWAY FOR 20 YEARS AND SEEN MANY BEAUTIFUL PLACES -SUSESI IS UP THERE WITH THE BEST

Room Tip: Higher floors are good

We went with our son daughter in law and 3 year old granddaughter. When we arrived we were allocated a Lakeside accomadation it had 3 bedrooms and a lounge and overlooked the swimming lakes and jaccuzi very nice.
The female reception staff seemed a little of hand we put this down to they didnt understand English too well.
It was a massive resort and would take a week to find everything
When i got there i couldnt believe i had forgot to pack my bikinis so went to the resort shops to buy some, I could not believe the prices 249US dollars each hence i only bought 2 for a wash and wear. The childrens beach toys were mega expensive £25 for a bucket spade and a blow up car Make sure you take everything with you especially sun cream the shops are ridiculous prices.
The Restaurant staff were very friendly, for the amount of people they deal with.
There was a good choice of food and also other restaurants you can eat in if you book and pay 10 euros per person. The problem with the main restaurant is you would think a lot of people hadnt been fed or it was their last meal, there was so much pushing and shoving by ignorant people i couldnt believe it there was always plenty of food 24/7. also people were taking great big parcels of food with them dont know why as food is served all over the resort freshly
On the beach and round the pool there were towels put on sunbeds really early in the morning as per usual.
We stayed round the Lakeside a lot as it was more peaceful and our granddaughter enjoyed swimming around more comfortably
Our Granddaughter never went to the daytime Kids club as we wanted her with us, but wanted to go to the Mini Disco in the evening. The children pushed her shoved her and elbowed her all oner the stage so we went to dance with he to stop this happening. The staff never acknowledged her what so ever and was only interested with the children who had learnt the dances probaly during the day. No english was really spoken to the children so couldnt understand what was being said or tunes being played
The children there were uncontrolable and didnt seem to have any manners at all.
Overall it is a lovely resort clean and every need is meet you can even get your sunglasses cleaned on the beach or your shoes polished before you go to dinner, there is nothing they have not thought of.
We found it was a very Eastern European and Russian resort not many English

Room Tip: The lakeside rooms and villas are lovely and quiet
