“Nice location, food could be better”
Reviewed December 15, 2011

Very nice location right at the 2 golf courses with driving range, putting and chipping areas. Perfect for golf vacations.

The choice of food and the quality could be better especially for vegetarians.

All inclusive wine and other alcohols not good. Good alcohols with extra charge.
Quite expensive tee time if not booked with the travel agency for the whole stay.

This hotel is prepared for golfers. It has two golf courses belongs to the hotel. Very good places for training: big driving range, big putting green and chipping green. Food is good, but nothing special. Coffee is so bad, wine list is low quality too. There's not that a lot of things in "Swedish buffet" like another hotels in Belek with Turkish 5 stars. Service is nice but working very slow.

We have just returned from a week in Belek, Turkey which included 4 rounds of golf on the two courses attached to the Sueno Golf hotel.

On arrival, we were informed that we had been upgraded and the room was both very large and very pleasant. The view from the balcony was over the golf courses and the lakes. It was a beautiful view and it proved fascinating to watch the birds on the lake and the giant koi carp feeding in the lake. It was also amusing to watch so many golf balls being hit astray and ending up in a watery grave. It was not so amusing when I did the same thing the next day!!

The temperatures ranged from a chilly 7 degrees in the morning to 21 degrees in the afternoon. The beach was "closed" meaning that there was no service on the beach.

We were on a all inclusive deal and it was good value. The food was good but not great. it was a buffet style but there was also a grill where they made omelettes, served chiken skewers etc. My wife and another lady in our party did not like the house white wine but the red was OK. Generally speaking, the food looked great but did not taste quite so great. Good but could have been better.

All of the staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. On a number of occasions people waved a greeting or said hello when they were obviously busy, but it seemed like they wanted to make the effort. A very pleasant experience.

The hotel spa was nice although I had hoped for a proper hard massage rather than just a massage which was pleasant. The golf courses were both very challenging. The Pines being the more diificult. Well worth a round or two or three on both as they are very different from other courses I have played on. The undulating fairways are fascinating. We played one extra round to that booked beforehand and had to pay 83 euro, which I feel is a more than enough.

The hotel has rooms both on the golf course side which were in the shade and on the front side where there is more sun. In November, it would have been nice with the sun but in the summer, this might have proved be too much if the temperatures head up to the high 30`s.

There was a bit of a fuss when we checked out. Apparently the container for the toilet brush was reported broken in our bathroom but it was not broken by us. They wanted 52 euros for it. After quite a bit of discussion, the payment demand was withdrawn. It was a friendly discussion but I still felt a bit like I had done something wrong.

Not much for the kids to so here in November.

Overall, we enjoyed the stay very much. The lovely room, very good golf courses and the friendly staff helped to make it a memorable stay.

Room Tip: Front rooms with sunshine in the winter and rooms looking over the golf course in the summer.

Just returned from a 6 night stay at this hotel - linked with a business trip - and I must say that I was very impressed all round.

The rooms were great - lots of space, very comfortable, and a good view of the golf courses. Staff were very attentive, and service was slick.

Standard of golf course was excellent - very well maintained considering the volume of golf played on them. Perhaps the only down-side was that there was a bit of a scrum early morning to get to the first tee getting buggies and carts sorted out - not a mojor problem though.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with course view.

Our group of 4 couples has just returned from the Sueno. Last year we were "upgraded" to the Calista, which was very good, but this year the Sueno was not overbooked! We all enjoyed a terrific holiday, for which the Hotel must take a lot of credit. The rooms are perfectly comfortable, the food very good in terms of quality and variety, while the staff were almost invariably cheerful and humorous. Service in the bar, restaurant and beach bar was efficient, and it was a pleasure to deal with staff who not only appeared to enjoy their jobs, but actually seemed to quite like us!
The Pines and Dunes course are a challenge to the best of golfers, and were in immaculate condition. We also played Carya and Kaya Eagles which are also well worthwhile.
Finally, the Sueno's practice putting green is magnificent - pity I still can't putt!

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the golf courses benefit from being larger with spectacular views. We chose th...

Just returned from Belek where my wife and I stayed at the Sueno Golf Hotel on an all inclusive basis playing the Pines & Dunes Courses and the Kaya Eagles. Can't fault the hotel or the golf unless i wanted to be extremely picky. The staff at the Sueno couldn't have been more friendly and helpful - tipping we found was certainly optional but the outstanding service received made you want to reward the staff with a little extra. The food was very good - plenty of variety and certainly of a quality to satisfy most people. No problem getting drinks from the bar either in person or from a waiter and we never had to wait more than a couple or so minutes. You could even have 'champagne' with your breakfast if so desired! The beach bar did excellent lunches and everywhere was so clean and tidy. Practice facilities are again excellent and personally we found no problems hiring buggies. Our room gave excellent views across to the 4 greens so we could sit on our balcony enjoying our tipples and watching short putts being constantly missed!!
We have no hesitation recommending this excellent hotel and the 2 courses attached - there is no need to venture elsewhere to play golf.

Room Tip: Ask for a 'golf view ' room if available - these are on the shady side of the hotel. Rooms...

The Slashers golf society have just returned from a week at the Sueno Hotel, belek, Turkey, The Hotel was just perfect for a large group of average golfers , 20 guys mostly ex servicemen enjoying the weather and golf, The hotel staff were on the ball, nothing was to much trouble,The food was fine most people could find something they like although you will not please everybody, The golf courses were on the whole good, with the exception of the Tat golf course where the greens were the worst i have played on, The Dunes was closed for overseeding whilst we were there but the very friendly assistant pro gave me a tour and it looked great, We were so happy with the place we are already planning our trip for next year,The only negative is there are not that many Buggies so you have to get up early to book them, you are not able to book them prior to arrival,
