Voyage Belek Golf & Spa
Ranked #5 of 94 Hotels in Belek
Reviewed January 4, 2011

We stayed at Voyage Belek for our honeymoon at the beginning of November '10.

We were both amazed with the hotel.
From reading the reviews on TripAdvisor prior to our holiday, we'd thought that the place was too good to be true and wouldn't be as good but now that we've experienced it for ourselves and have to agree with the majority that it's outstanding!

We stayed for two weeks in one of the bungalows, near to the relax pool. Our apartment was very clean and spacious. On our arrival we had the complimentary honeymoon concept which was a nice touch.
The room was cleaned on a daily basis with fresh towels etc supplied.

We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful. We visited the many restaurants within the complex. The themed restaurants were fantastic!
The standard and selection of food was very good and you certainly wouldn't go hungry there. In fact during the first few days over-eating was the only problem. It was nice to try some new dishes too.
We loved the selection of drinks in the bars and the bar staff were happy and helpful.
It was great to be relaxing by the sea with a Voyage Delfine! :)

The beach was lovely and clean and well set

Our First Choice representative is an absolute star! Sebnem or Sheby as she's know made us very welcome and is such a lovely person. More than happy to help with any enquiry. She joined us on one of our day trips and we had such a good laugh.

I really can't fault the cleanliness of Voyage, every nook and cranny was spotless! Staff are constantly cleaning.

We would love to return in the future as Voyage Belek will always have a special place in our hearts.

I went on holiday with my two friends in November 2010, we are all in our early 20s. The hotel was beautiful, there was so much to do, we hardly needed to leave the hotel.

We booked on Thomson and the service was fantastic. We were collected at the airport and we were allocated a tour guide for our stay. The rep went out of her way to make our stay pleasurable, and the staff, and locals were lovely.

The food was divine and the cocktails, night club and all day patisserie really made our holiday special.

I would definitely recommend this hotel! It is a perfect getaway and I have travelled to many parts of the world and this was definitely one of our best holidays yet!

Just returned from a brilliant stay at The Belek, sitting on the beach whilst the UK had snow has been great. As its out of season we weren't expecting much and yes there are a number of restaurants & other facilities that were closed but to be honest we have stayed in hotels that have less choice than this in mid season. There is some building work being done on a hotel nextdoor but it never impacted on our enjoyment whatsoever. The food has been excellent. Service great, rooms modern & very clean and the grounds of the hotel are immaculate. The little things made it for us though such as always being able to get beach towels, sunbeds & having cocktails freshly made not the usual prepared rubbish in slush machines which has always been the case at other all inclusives. The mini fridge in the room restocked daily with brand name soft drinks and brand name alcoholic drinks available in all the bars. The cake counter is amazing. Then only negative is that there is not a lot to see or do outside of the hotel but it didn't bother us as we were happy to spend the whole week at the complex.

Lots already written so I'll keep it short

Good Points.....
Large Hotel, with lots of different eating places.
Excellent Service & Staff
Fantastic Variety of Food and Drinks
Serveral Pools and Clean Beach
Sauna's/Turkish Bath and Indoor Pool
The Staff are always cleaning?
Very Good Wi-Fi

Not So Good Points.
Limited Entertainment this time of Year.
Some Theme Restaurants closed for season.
Rooms cleaned any-time from 10am to 4pm (No good for afternoon sleep)
Noise from Disco in main building travels up 3 floors !!!! This is Garage/Jungle Music
at its worse)
Building work next door very close to Voyage and poor views from a third of the hotel.
Could be very crowded and noisey at 'peak' times of the year.

I caught Severe Gastro Enteritis/Diarrhea from 'something' and was that poorly
was hositalised for 2 days.
Hotel Doctor and Hospital were very good
Now need to fight with Insurance - but thats no fault of the hotel.

Overall and Excellent Value for money holiday.
I would NOT use Thomas Cook again for this type of holiday.
They were virtually uncontactable during my illness.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at the Voyage Belek.
Having read all of the splendid reviews we left with high expectations and they were fulfilled in every aspect!

I'll some up in short the things that stood out for us.

Impeccable service & very child friendly
Very high level of service and everybody was extremely friendly. As we it was our first hotel stay with our 1.5 year old boy I was a bit apprehensive but every single member of staff was really friendly and helpful and the facilities for children were brilliant (there was even a separate restaurant with sterilizer, food processor etc)

We had a family bungalow room (2 separate bedrooms and 1 bathroom) and my parents had a standard bungalow room. Both rooms were very spacious with a practical and modern bathroom.

The highlight of the trip for our son. He absolutely loved the train and Ahmet went out of his way to engage with the kids. He made our son laugh over and over again.

Bars & Restaurants
You're spoilt for choice! We only tried the main restaurant and the Kid's restaurant at night but the food was excellent. Not of your average buffet quality at all. Again service at the table was excellent.
Plenty of bars to chose from to go for a drink and even the well known brand names are included in the all inclusive instead of the usual local variety.

All in all an excellent hotel with great facilities. What we remember from the holiday is the childfriendliness and the pleasant staff. Very recommendable.

We a family of two adults and a nine year old had a week at the Belek Voyage from Oct 25th. Prior to the holiday our agent wrote to us informing us of the ongoing construction of a hotel next door. This caused us to consider choosing an alternative destination, but our concerns were unfounded. Yes the building is taking place, but it did not impact upon our stay in any way. I have attached a number of photos one of which shows the construction.
Our room was one of the Garden Rooms situated close to the main reception. Our initial impression was that it was not quite what we expected and was short of its five star rating. The shower had black mildew in it and the position of the shower head could not be altered, the complimentary bottles of shower gel and shampoo had been opened and half used. The telephone did not work and part of the skirting board was hanging off. In fairness once we complained these matters were remedied reasonably quickly, that said the room seemed a little tired and in need of some attention to really be marketed as luxury. We did not see any of the other rooms and am sure that they are up to the expected standard. Whilst these issues were a little disappointing they did not spoil a very nice holiday.
Apart from this one issue the hotel and its facilities are in the main excellent. It is set in lovely grounds which are very well maintained. There was a high standard of cleanliness throughout. There are plenty of sun beds around the main pool and on the beach and we never had a problem finding a seat, we were even able to find sun beds on the jetty when we wanted to. The slides were very good and great for children and their use was supervised by a member of staff. The booking system for the a la carte restaurants was simple enough and we ate at five of them during our week, all of which were very good, with our favourite being the French. The food in general was very good and when we did eat in the main restaurant or pool snack bar we were very pleased.
As other have mentioned the shops and in particular the mini mart are overpriced but then that is no real surprise. We used the gym and indoor pool on several occasions, and the Turkish Bath and sauna almost daily, all of which were first class. I even had a shave in the salon and would recommend giving it a try (the men that is).
The only other area we felt they could improve on is with the entertainment. Certainly during the week we were there was very little in the way of evening entertainment, and what there was did not start until 10pm which was a bit late for us with a young child. All in all we had a very good holiday at a very good hotel.

My Partner & I have just returned from staying at this hotel for a week. After reading the previous reviews on here i was a little skeptical on what to expect. But All i can say is WOW!
What a hotel! Deff a 5 star hotel !

On check in we were given a booklet with all info about the hotel, our room keys & Beach towel card. Our bags were taken by the bell boys & they pointed us in the direction of our room block. We were given a family room wich consisted of 2 single beds in the first room then a hall way which lead to a spacious bathroom & a large double bedroom, which lead onto a balcony.
The room was SPOTLESS, towels were changed daily and room was cleaned throughout.

The hotel overall was alot bigger then we expected and it took us a couple of days just to explore it all. Theres deffinately something for everyone!

Even though our brochure said that most things may be closed due to it being the winter season nearly everything remained open. The outside bars closed earlier, the ampitheatre was closed & a couple of the A la carte restraunts were closed but that was it.
We were impressed by how clean the whole hotel was. Staff were always removing empty glasses, cleaning the floors & glass.

We tried the adult restraunt & the main restraunt. The adult one was nicely decorated, BUT there was not as much choice as the main restraunt and we found as it wasnt very big that it filled up pretty quick.
The main restraunt had plenty of seating. There was so much choice even the fussiest of eaters would not have a problem!
For breakfast there was things such as boiled eggs, pancakes, waffles, pastries, rolls, fruit, yoghurts, fried eggs, cerals.
Lunch - Pizzas, salads, fish, chicken, cheeses, breads, pasta, lasagne, flat breads, vegetables
Dinners- Noodles, rices, different cooked meats, pastas, casseroles, breads, cheeses, salads, chips, wedges, vegetables .. Plus ALOT of different puddings!

We never went hungry so much choice and during the day there was ice cream & cakes aswell!

When it came to the bar i noticed a few reviews moaned about the bar service, we didnt have a problem. It was still really busy at the hotel but we never had to wait long at the bar to get served and even when we sat down in the lobby or restraunt a waiter came straight over to take our drink orders.

Staff were extreamly polite & helpful. most spoke several languages!

I can not fault this hotel. The only thing 2 things that let the holiday down a bit was
1- the shops in the town of belek were all similar golf & tshirts, Jewlery, Bags or Souvenir shops and the staff were quite pushy trying to get you to buy things (things were alot cheaper at the hotel!!)
and 2- The staff at antayla airport were quite rude!! (Plus they charge a Fortune for drinks and food at the airport, we paid over £7 for to bottles of drink!!)

Overall Best holiday ive ever been on! Would deff recommend it and will deff be going back again!
