“fantastic 40th!! what a place!!”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

We stayed as a family at the voyage belek, from 3rd june to 18th june, and it is one of the best holidays we have ever had.
We booked through loveholidays, and everything went like clockwork, it was a special holiday, we don't normally do 5*, but it was well worth every penny, when we broke down the costings, it was actually very reasonable, less than £500 each per week. It was 24 hour all inclusive, and it was champagne, cocktails, branded drinks, excellent food, great accommodation, we couldn't fault it, and would definately return.
We stayed in a standard room in B block, and the room was more than sufficient for a family of 3, we had a double bed, a single camp style bed for our daughter, all of which we found comfortable, the room was large and modern, with bathroom, including bath, shower, toiletries, hairdryer, toilet and sink, all towels were replaced daily, there was a tv, air conditioning, which we didn't find strong enough, but it was ok, and only a minor moan, and a fridge which was filled daily with water, beer, milk, chocolate milkshake, cola, diet cola and fanta, and a free safe, and a balcony looking out onto the gardens.
The room was spotlessly clean, and the room was cleaned and changed daily by the very friendly staff, even though most days we laid in, they always returned to clean the room.
The staff at the hotel seemed to work tirelessly on everything, we have never stayed anywhere where you could see the ongoing hard work and maintenance of the cleanliness and landscaping of the place, it was immaculate, and the grounds are stunning.
B block is at the back of the complex near the main entrance, so it is lovely and quiet, and I preferred this side of the resort, as it is further away from the pool, party and beach areas, but still only a 5 minute walk and no problem, but is very close to the reception, 24 hour restaurant and bars, the beer hut, which is a fab bar to chill out at, the bungalow bar, snack bar and pools, the amphitheatre for the childrens entertainment and fun fair, when we stay again we would definately like to be this side of the resort. From the reception area (which is a seperate area housing the reception, 24 hour bar, seating area and guest services), you walk down the main path towards the main hotel, to the right you have the private bungalows, which are really cool, with fantastic pool areas around them, bar and snack bar, then the relax pool, again with its own bar, and a fridge with ice creams, lollies etc. To the left is the beer hut, path to the amphitheatre, funfair, 24 hour restaurant and bar, and turkish restaurant. Then you get to the main hotel, which is beautiful and modern, set on 2 levels, upstairs is the planet bar, which is really good, and do fab cocktails, the adult buffet restaurant, where the service and food is excellent, very posh for a buffet restaurant, all the holiday company information is on this floor, and the Italian restaurant, which is OMG amazing. On the bottom level is the family buffet restaurant, where again the food is wonderful, so much choice, and three different areas to choose to sit including the kids restaurant, which is wonderful for the little ones. There are shops to mosy round, an internet cafe which is very reasonable, ten pin bowling, arcade games, another bar area, the cake shop and ice cream area, and the wellness center, who do the most amazing massages and turkish baths. also more of the a la carte restaurants are in this building. We ate turkish, which was fab, chinease which was fab, Italian which was outstanding, and greek which was fab, we will save the rest for next time!!, I think there were 7 or 8 to choose from, oh theres a gym and indoor pool and sauna and steam room in the wellness area too, they were also lovely. Going through to the other side of the hotel is the outside bar area seating which is very modern and comfortable, then you come to the family pool, which is HUUUGE, there is lots of music and entertainment, again from the very hardworking and friendly entertainment team, there is a cool poolbar area, then to the left of that is the waterpark, which is loved by the kids and adults alike, the main slide which is not yet open!!, but looks really fab, but guest relations made up for this supplying passes to the waterpark next door at the maxx royal waterpark where this particular slide is up and running, there is a lovely area for smaller children and toddlers. Next to that is the kids club, which my daughter loved and made lots of friends, they did numerous activities and went horseriding for a small surcharge, also through the kids club we made lots of friends too which was great and made our holiday, so a big thankyou to the kidsclub team!!!, also it let us explore some of the adult only areas, which with a young child we dont normally get to do this, there is the adult only restaurant, which i have mentioned already, adult only pool and bar area, and adult only jetty, with lovely comfy sunbeds, and cool breeze from the sea, short walk to the beach bar, this was my favourite place to be bliss!!, anyway, next to the pool areas was the gardens, where they had barbeques every afternoon, crazy golf, tennis etc if you could be bothered (not me!), then the beach, again with its own bar, family jetty and adult jetty, both very lovely and comfortable, and also at the beach bar was the flatbread ladies!!, these were great for lunch and very tasty!!. We didn't see too much of the evening entertainment because by 11pm im ashamed to say I was exhausted!!, but we went to the 4 seasons party which was amazing, and they get some top DJ's at the resort, otehr evenings it was more meals and drinks at the numerous bars and restaurants with the wonderful friends we made. I would like to say thankyou to some very special staff who made our holiday, Olena in guest relations, who made sure my 40th was very special, she is a credit to the resort, always very friendly and smiling, Nacati in the buffet restaurant and pool bar at times, such a lovely man, who went out of his way to be friendly and helpful, Omer the bistro waiter, again such a lovely, friendly hardworking man, Mehmet and Elif at the beach bar, Elif was training, but is already a credit to the team, Mehmet and Elif were very friendly and made the best cocktails!!!, and ferdi in the planet bar who made my special birthday cocktail!!, Thankyou to you all for giving us the best holiday and we hope to see you again if the budget allows!!!.

Room Tip: If you can afford it definately go for a bungalow, they are amazing, but a standard room in the B bl...

I've just arrived back from a week at the Vovage Belek on a golfing break and must say that the service we received at this complex as nothing less then outstanding. Especially from the waitress who served us most evenings in the Patisserie Bar her name is Hasibe, she was always friendly and helped us learn a little Turkish, she's a real asset to the hotel - Thank you

Room Tip: All rooms we had were excellent

Stayed at the Voyage for the second time in May 2013 with husband and 11year old daughter. The hotel had made some great improvements since our previous visit which made our stay even more enjoyable i.e. branded ice creams and fridges on the beach containing branded cold drinks (both help yourself).

We stayed in the main hotel building which was convenient for the restaurants and most other facilities. Room was very clean and modern however one point to remember is that the outside disco goes on till 2am and the music is very loud.

Service all round the hotel was superb, didn't have to wait very long for either food or drinks. Enjoyed the Chinese and Italian restaurants, not too much trouble with getting a booking.

Didn't have to get up too early to get a sunbed, however hotel should consider putiing more beds out and/or creating additional sunbathing areas to accommodate busier times of the year.

Waterpark great and will be even better when they finish the Cobra slide in the near future - looks amazing.

All in all we would not hesitate to go back to the Voyage and will certainly return as long as the child age limit allows.

Visited the Voyage with 3 mates for a golfing holiday in the 1st week of May. From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave the place just oozes class, the staff cannot do enough for you and the hotel is fantastic. We had 2 rooms in the main hotel with sea views that were nice and spacious, clean and very well presented. The view over the sea to the left and the mountains to the right was brilliant and it was a pleasure to sit and have a beer on the balconey. The food is 1st class from breakfast to dinner with so much choice there is no way you will go hungrey, I recommend the baclava puddings, just to die for. The main reason we went to the voyage was as a base for our golf and we was not dissapointed there either, we played the Monty, The Sultan and the Pines at Sueno and all 3 courses were in top condition and totally amazing, if you are planning a golf trip you will be spoilt for choice with the number of courses to play and will be spoilt rotten by the class of the voyage. We payed the extra few euros for the steak resturant and was not dissapointed, again the service was fantastic and the food amazing. Pool bar is a great place to chill during the day and at night we spent alot of time at the bar in the main foyer of the main building watching the world go by and listening to all the different nationalites and being given very large glasses of our favourite tipple by the amazing friendly bar staff. All in all you would do well to find a better hotel in my opinion and me and my 3 mates have already booked a return next May to stay at the voyage and play some more of the amazing golf courses that Turkey has on offer.

We booked this hotel solely based on the reviews from trip advisor and in the weeks leading up to the holiday I devoured every new review that was posted about the Voyage. It definitely lived up to the expectations we all had.

I travelled with my husband and 2 young boys (aged 2 and 1) and also my parents. I had emailed Inci (guest relations) prior to the trip to ask if we could have rooms together as we had booked a bungalow and my parents had booked a hotel room. Upon arrival we were delighted to find that we had all been placed in side by side rooms in the main hotel. Check in was seamless despite the late hour and whereas the rooms weren't 5* by Singapore/Bali/Dubai standards they were comfortable and large- and we never felt overcrowded despite the two travel cots in the room.

We ate our breakfast in the main restaurant and there was always plenty to eat, lots of fresh eggs, pancakes and even chips if you fancy. We were also lucky enough to eat in the adult only restaurant thanks to my parents babysitting and this was a whole different experience- truly wonderful!

We also ate in all the a la carte restaurants except the Fish. By far our favourite was the Italian and we even managed to eat in here twice. The fillet steak would rival those in top london restaurants. The surcharges for the Japanese and Steak restaurants are well worth the money. Our least favourite was the turkish but that was down to personal taste.

There were always ample sunbeds around the pool, beach and the pier however like most places, if you want the best spots then I suggest getting up around 8am (not much of an ask as we were always up!) During the second week we noticed the hotel had become increasingly busier (almost at capacity) and yet there were still many beds available.

We ate most lunch times at the pool bar and here was where the 5* service really shone through in the form of Necati. This man could not do enough for us, he is truly a credit to the Voyage Belek.
Also special mention to the ladies in the patisserie bar- julia and the lady with the glasses, and the lady with the funny hair (sorry for not getting names!). We drank here every night before dinner and they all knew which drinks to get us, and were more than happy to bring us lots of crisps and nuts!

Only 2 small gripes. Service in the 24hour restaurant was not as good as elsewhere. We always felt like we were burdening them by asking for food despite the restaurant only having a handful of people in it. And secondly the cleaners. I understand that they work hard but after the first few days I felt like our room never got properly cleaned, just a quick tidy up and a making the bed- we had to prompt the cleaners to take empty plates and glasses from our room and the mini bar was not always stocked daily. Not a major gripe and would definitely not stop us from returning in the future.

Overall this hotel is fantastic and perfect for families with children as well as adults. Every person in our party was catered for and we all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We will be returning!

Room Tip: We stayed in the main hotel, no problem with noise and it was great being so close to all the restau...

This hotel caters for everyone with separate facilities for adults and families if that is what you want. Entertainment round the lively main pool was really good the entertainment team work really hard keeping everyone happy. In fact all the staff are excellent. The food is amazing and the drinks package is the best I have come across. I agree the rooms are not 5 star but this rating is achieved , I believe, by the facilities on offer. The only downside we had was my daughters room wasn't cleaned the day before departure and my mini bar wasn't restocked for 2 days but a phone call resolves any issues very quickly. Would I go back? Definitely!

It is very easy to evaluate this resort as it describe adjectives such as fantastic and excellent. But first things first, the resort is a wonderful hotel complex consists of main hotel buildings and family villas. Whenever there is a swimming pool with slides and attractions for children, family pool on the beach and swimming pool for adults,a children's amusement park with carousel. Everywhere is clean and beautifully maintained environment. Everything is ready for it to rest and relaxed. Any variety of food in the main restaurant, who does not like kids running around, you can dine in the restaurant for adults, while also choose from a restaurant aimed at the national cuisine - Japanese, Italian, Greek, Mexican, Turkish. Active targeting holidaymakers available gym, aqua aerobics, yoga, spa. Services are at the perfect level, we were happy, because everything we needed we had, what we lacked was enough to ask staff, everything was resolved to our satisfaction. Perfectly we rested and definitely come back here.
