“Great for a Golf Holiday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

16 of us were there for a Golfing Holiday in April and everything was superb! The hotel was first class, all the Staff were all really pleasant & very helpful and the Golf Courses were all top quality. If you're thinking of going on a Golf Holiday in Belek - stay in the Voyage!

What can I add to the praises so far? An excellent hotel to relax with the family, entertain the kids, enjoy good food and drinks, lie arond the pool or on the sandy beach, play golf.

We spent a week in early May - a family with two kids aged 7 (boy) and 5 (girl).

The territitory is beautifully maintained and clean, lush and verdant; the hotel is tastefully decorated, luxurious and modern, spacious and cozy at the same time, without being "over-the-top" - which is sometimes typical for hotels in the Middle East.

The choice of food in the buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner was always extensive and delicious, with abundance of fresh fruit, salads and vegetables. A separate kids' restaurant with an adapted menu, plus several other restaurants - Japanese teppanyaki, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Turkish, steakhouse and seafood (these all require pre-booking, the steakhouse and the teppanyaki entail a surcharge), as well as two or three snack bars around the pools - mean you are never short of great choices of food. This being an "ultra-all-inclusive" hotel, all beverages, sodas, cocktails, beers, wines and spirits are also free - and these are top-shelf brands. At key spots of the territory, large freezers stuffed with ice-cream are available - just open and grab as you please.

All personnel at the reception and guest services, the servers and waiters, the maids, the animators were always friendly, responsive and welcoming, going out of their way to help and accommodate. Service is what really makes the whole experience at Voyage Belek special.

We arrived early in the morning (8 am) from a "red-eye" flight. Our family bungalow room was not ready yet, but we were invited to try the buffet breakfast and enjoy rest of the territory - and come back in one hour. When we returned to the reception area later, it turned out the room was still not ready, and we were offered an upgrade to a duplex laguna suite - albeit only for 3 days, with the remaining 3 days to be spent at a luxury room with sea front view. We agreed - and were not disappointed. The laguna duplexes are separate, 2-floor houses in a secluded part of the gardens, with a sitting room / twin bedroom on the first floor, and a master's bedroom on the second floor. Both with separate bathrooms, balconies, walk-in wardrobes, minibars, large flat-screen TVs, DVD player. Several (3-4) houses share a large (25 meter) pool, with sunbeds etc around. In short, pure bliss.

After the first three days were over, we had to move to a sea-front family room in the main hotel building. A bit smaller, but also very nice, with two bedrooms (on the same floor), one bathroom, large terrace. The family rooms are at the very front of the building, facing directly south, with sweeping views towards the several swimming pools and the beach. The view, however, turned out to be the main minus of the room and our stay, too. As the night entertainment - a bar with live music, and a large dance club - were situated around the pools, noise and thumping music could be heard inside until 2 am. Fortunately, our kids were getting so tired during the day, that they did not wake up from the noise. We requested another room, but were politely refused, as the hotel was full to capacity. Nevertheless, this did not prove to be a major issue after all.

Entertainment and amusements are good, without being aggressive. There are activities around the pool during the day, and also various games and competitions around the territory. The Kid's Club is open from 10 am to 10 pm, with a variety of activities based on age groups. There is a small aqua-park with 4 mild rides, and a luna-park with a ferris wheel, a merry-go-round and a few other rides. Despite these being targeted more to little children, older ones and adults were enjoying them equally, if not more. A different dance / music show was featuring in the amphitheatre in the evenings - of pretty decent quality, very enjoyable.

Voyage Belek is just next door to the Maxx Royal hotel, which incudes the Mongomerie golf course. A complimentary shuttle (the ride is less than 5 minutes) runs from the Voyage reception to the club house every half an hour or so. The concierge can book tee times at the Mongtomerie, as well as the other 13 golf course in the Belek area. I managed to play only the Montgomerie twice, liked the course but was not blown away.

All in all, this is a highly recommended resort experience, especially for families with children of all ages! We can't wait to return later this year.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms in the main building, while offering spectacular vistas, are noisy well into the nigh...

Just returned from golf holiday, stayed here for 7 days.I have been to Belek 4 times now on golf holidays and have to say this was the best hotel i have been to here in Belek. The service was first class. We ate a few times in the a la carte restaurants(excellent)and the buffet was also very good. There is something to do for all types of visitors, with quiet areas if you want them or alternatively very lively nightlife etc.Would definitely return.

Room Tip: villas in separate gardens have their own pools

the hotel beat my expectations,we had a great week and there was not a lot i could fault, the pool areas were great the buffet restaurant was fabulous and we used this every day apart from one,we chose to try the steakhouse but were rather disappointed in the quality of the steaks and the over bearing waiter who thought he could do no wrong, the whole resort is well kept and lots to do for familys, the mix of guests range from kids to pensioners and i did not at any time see anybody abuse the all inclusive drinks.this was a great golfing holiday and would not hesitate in returning.

What a phenomenal hotel.

We are not normally "package holiday" types so we were a little apprehensive about booking a week all-inclusive in Turkey. The guests were a mix of families and groups of golfers with none of the feared lager louts etc.The overall atmosphere is relaxed and casual but also up-market.

We are pretty fussy when it comes to cleanliness but the lagoon duplex we stayed in (free upgrade it seems - nice touch!) was spotless, and the rest of the resort gave a similar clean and cared-for impression. It's easy for such large resorts to fall into disrepair but at the Voyage Belek we saw continual maintenance and improvement going on (and it was always discreet and without disturbing the guests). A huge compliment to management on this.

The food options were impressive. Very wide selections at the buffets and (for buffets) pretty decent quality. But book one of the free a la carte restaurants and you will have the treat of a pretty high-end restaurant experience - e.g. the Italian restaurant was a 6-course meal with multiple choices of each course. Such an extensive menu of that quality would have easily cost 70-80 EUR a person back in Germany. Unbelievable that this was part of the all-inclusive. Teppanyaki Japanese and Chinese also of similar quality. Unfortunately at Easter it was chilly in the evenings so we didn't get to experience the other (outdoor) a la Carte restaurants.

The bar and lobby areas have an great cocktail menu and even that is without extra payment. We loved to sit in the (quieter) reception area in the evenings sipping Mojitos etc.

The lagoon duplex we stayed in was the largest hotel "room" I have ever seen. Almost a small apartment over 2 floors each with a spacious bedroom and bathroom, plus a terrace and balcony. When we head back (not something we considered before, but now an absolute must!) we will definitely book this room type. It is a short walk from the main building but has the additional benefit of being quiet and feeling more exclusive.

The staff at the Voyage were mostly friendly, and absolutely provided great service.

Normally our teenage boys moan a bit about coming on vacation with us, but they also loved the Belek. After our day trips it felt like coming home to return there.

If you are looking for all-inclusive in Turkey then look no further. The Voyage Belek is all you could ask for.

If you found this review helful, I would appreciate your vote.

Room Tip: Lagoon Duplex is huge and great for a family - feels exclusive and is quiet.

we have just returned from this great hotel all revues are acurate however they need to adress the front desk issues with the staff, they need to learn some manners in how to deal with little issues ie change for tips for the staff and changing rooms that are noisey in the main building they really let this great hotel down

Room Tip: for a quiet room you need to be out of the main buildings
