“Amazing Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012

First time I have been to this hotel, it was amazing! Great views, lovely beach nearby as well as a water park and plenty of sunbeds available. The rooms were spotless and cleaned regularly. The entertainment team were fab! So friendly and welcoming! They provided lots to do during the day and brilliant entertainment shows and parties at night. They really added to the holiday! Thank you Voyage Belek Entertainment Team!! :) I hope to go back in the future!! :)

An excellent hotel which was the perfect base for a golf holiday. Staff could not have been more helpful. Food was in abundance and of a very good quality. Top brand drinks also available. Would certainly use this hotel again.

We have just returned from a week at Voyage Belek. I cannot commend the hotel highly enough for the quality of food and service. The range of food in the Adult and Family Restaurant would provide something for everyone. The standard of food and cooking is a credit to the chefs. The smooth operation of the restaurants is a credit to the restaurant managers and waiters who work hard to keep your glasses filled and tables cleared and clean.

It is a pleasure to see how engaged the staff were in providing such excellent service.

We had a choice of Italian, Chinese and Turkish a la carte evenings during this week. We used italian and Chinese and enjoyed these very much. We also paid the additional 12euros each for the Teppanyaki night and it was also very good. The only comment I would make is that it is in two sittings 7.00 and 8.30 and it is a little rushed to try to relax and enjoy the experience, but fantastic it is included and we have the option. We appreciated the food and the service.

Voyage Belek is like a mini resort with archery, table tennis, petanque, tennis, small crazy golf, water slides, volleyball ..... and more, available. The children's areas seemed well-considered although we did not use them. Inside there is also a small but very comfortable cinema, a bowling alley, internet area, games room and reading room as well as the bars and restaurants.

The gardens are beautiful and very well tended with fantastic statues and artwork throughout the hotel and grounds making it very interesting. The piers at the beach have comfortable loungers to lie as a chance from the beach and pool.

We arrived around 4am - and were in our room 15 mins later. Check in was very efficient. Our bags followed via golf cart about 20 mins after that. Our room was spacious with balcony in Block A which is very convenient for the main building. The rooms, however, although comfortable and adequate, are not in my experience 5 star. They were very clean with excellent showers and comfortable if firm beds. They have tea and coffee making facilities; a fridge with beer and soft drinks and a safe. Cleaned and changed daily, very efficiently. There was always hot water - something not all 5 star hotels can achieve with plumbing problems :-).

The spa had an indoor pool which was quite basic. There was a steam room and turkish Hamman available to everyone. We enjoyed that and it was well used. We did not make use of the extended Spa treatment menu such as massage and other facilities available on this occasion. There is a freshly squeezed juice bar in the Spa too to give you the healthy kick after your visit!

We loved the ambience of the hotel and complex. It seemed that the approach was 'can do' by every person. Nothing was a problem for any member of staff and they went out of their way to help with any query. There were no 'rules'. Guests were just left to get on and enjoy their holiday in whatever way they wanted and it all worked beautifully well.

We were disturbed a few nights by late night neighbours; however, a request to move was dealt with so quickly and pleasantly by Danni our Thomas Cook rep and member of Reception, that we were moved and in our new room within 1.5 hours. They offered to pack and move us, which we did not require.

The Adult Pool and the Relax pool had just closed when we arrived. Unfortunately, we found the main pool absolutely Freezing. No-one was in the pool, whereas many people were in the sea which was warmer! No idea how the other pools would differ on site since they were closed for the season. I do think the hotel management could look at how to increase the temperature - unless they have a motive for keeping it that cold? Obviously no-one using it makes its own statement.

We visited Belek for a few hours which is the local town but did not enjoy that - it is small and primarily repetitive shops of fakes, and with no atmosphere. We took the Dolmus along to Belek and the Tractor trailor back (novel!). However, we did see golfers buying a lot on the golfing wear shops in Belek.

We also took a day trip to Antalyia. The bus leaves from hotel gate at 10am and returns around 4-4.30pm for €7 return. There may be cheaper or better ways but this worked out okay.

One thing is that the majority of residents are German and so the staff speak German rather than English. I found myself speaking German sometimes since it seemed easier :-). However, that statement does not bring with it the connotations of other stories of German dominated hotels and sunbeds. We found all the guests in the hotel were very nice, respectful and pleasant.

So, if you would like a completely relaxing holiday, with excellent food and service, choice of a la carte restaurants, ultra all inclusive (everything including brands), activities if you wish to try them, or simply do nothing and watch the world go by, this is a perfect option. If you wandering to the local towns and sights, this may not be the hotel choice for you. But you could go on organised tour guide trips.

Oh - we were told to take only a little Turkish and take Sterling. However, here Euros was the predominant currency - or Turkish Lira. They would take Sterling but less readily so we exchanged ours at the hotel for a fair rate into Turkish Lira. they also do not like dealing with low value Turkish Lira coins so you may get change in chocolate bars :-) in the town.

We loved the hotel, and will return - for the relaxation and quality and friendliness and value for money.
We met several lovely people who have chosen to make this their regular winter holiday choice.

Thanks to all at Voyage Belek who worked so hard to make it such a lovely experience for us.

Our 1st experience of this hotel in a group of 4 golfers,It was truly fantastic.
Food and drink top quality. We ate in the adult only buffet restaurant each day, selection was vast and varied. All staff were friendly and helpfull. Nothing too much trouble for them. I celebrated a birthday there and was given a bottle of sparkling wine and signed card by hotel staff.
Hotel exceeded my expectations and I would certanly re visit.Nothing negative to say.Highly recommend to others.

2nd visit to this resort at differing ends of the year, both times hotel first class, in all aspects, staff courteous and attentive at all times, plenty of sunbeds available. Slight criticism was a smell of dampness in the bowling alley and in our room on entering it. Sazih in the restaurant a credit to the hotel, very friendly, without being ott. Sampled a la carte which to me wasnt really a la carte, as in it was a set menu, and as a vegetarian no option was available, although wasn't a problem when I asked for something different. Two main dining halls, although large, food was fresh as they only seem to cook small batches and do don't leave it to overlook under heat
Iights. No measures to the alcohol! mainly a double measure, wine nice as is the Efes. Indoor pool very clean and never to busy, spa lovely and reasonably priced. Wifi seemed accessible throughout the hotel, and some of the beach area inc the jetties. Not a lot to do at night after dinner, one of two "cabaret" type dances in the main foyer and a cinema, I would say this hotel mainly caters for French/Germans as there were not a lot of Brits here, saying that the staff all spoke english and it wouldn't stop it from me coming again, I had forgotten how early they get up though to put towels on the beds and then never sit them all day!

We just had a super week at the Voyage - the staff where very helpfull and friendly. The all inclusive concept went down very well with our group. The choice of food & drink was another positive as well as the fantastic facilities. We'll be back.

Room Tip: For golf groups choose the apartments near the Mexican resteraunt, very central and not far to carry...
