3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

We stayed here for a couple of nights at the beginning of a week-long Turkey tour. It's a hotel that will fade from memory but it was generally okay; rooms quite nice albeit with a few issues in the bathroom. Pool quite nice, simple breakfasts were traditional Turkish with a few tweeks for European clients.

I stayed at the hotel with my husband. We decided to spend a weekend in Belek and arrived at the hotel because we knew it was there.
The room we got was perfect! Quiet, comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed staying in a two-rooms room as well as the pool and the territory. The breakfast was very good and we could choose from the variety of snacks.
They even have an elevator, though the building is not very high.
For those who travel with children, there is a special place where children can play, colorful and comfortable.
The personnel were very polite and helpful. Many thanks to reception and housekeeping!
We will surely come back to the hotel, we enjoyed staying there, indeed!

to be honest i booked this because it was a cheap holiday but it turned out to be the worst hotel i've ever stayed in - no entertainment - except for the same cd being played allday and nite. hotel staff indifferent, food abysmal. to be honest we did enjoy the pools and the weather was fab. no snacks available and they didnot allow food to be brought in so i had to go out with a big rucksack each day to stash my bottles of water & crisps in.

to get to the local shops you have to negotiate a busy dual carrigeway and a development site - not recommended for prams or wheelchairs - pavements 2ft high and rubble paths.

luckily i had only booked a week so it wasn't too bad and the camerarderie with the other brits was what got me thru. booked a five star all inclusive this year - not taking any chances !!!

  • Liked — pools were lovely
  • Disliked — staff constantly walking around the pool - as tho checking for brought in drinks etc and straightening sunbeds of my family who were just in the pool

we holidayed here in may 2006.....our first family holiday for 9 years. We have visited turkey on numerous occasions and always had a fantastic time...hotels, people, food etc couldnt fault anything......until now!!! We arrived in the early hours of the morning to find the place deserted...our taxi driver even had to go and find the receptionist....who i must say was the nicest person in the hotel .........we were shown to our room which was very basic, 4 beds in one room....thin sheet and one pillow...we asked for some blankets and he did return with enough for all of us. We missed breakfast because of the lateness of our arrival, so once up and dressed we took a walk into Belek itself (which is where we did most of our eating out)..On our return we had a good look round, familiarise ourselves with the hotel and surroundings....wot a joke.........2 pools, freezing water, but there were plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. It was supposed to be all inclusive...wot a joke that was, there was only food available at the set meal times, and even the half board people were charged for water....how mad is that!!!! The food was horrendous...wotever u got for lunch was disguised as summert else for tea....food was never warm and if we complained, the chef was suddenly unable to speak english (he looked like elvis on a bad day!!!) The all inclusive started at 10am and finished at 10pm, the only day we were offered drinks later than 10pm was when everyone was in the lounge area watching football (and that was only because that was the only entertainment in the place....the disco was on twice while we were there...and that was only cos the hotel staff wanted one....the daytime receptionist doubled up as the DJ).
Also during our stay we were subject to the equivalent of a turkish stag nite.....how horrendous was that.....screaming and shouting at 3am....took 3 nites of complaining to the snotty [--] of a manager to get them moved.....the manager actually wanted us to change rooms and it wasnt even us causing the problems.
The area itself was nice (if u ignored the garage infront of the hotel), we found the people in Belek very friendly, they didnt hassle u at all which is unusual in turkey (just came home with loads of turkish eyes and packets of apple tea!!!!)
It didnt put us off going to turkey i wud still recommend the country, just avoid the riverside hotel in belek....wudnt send my worse enemy there

Do not go to this Hotel

Staff: Some ok.
Pool:best bit, except slide being turned off after five minutes.
Drinks and food: Tried most food on first day disliked everything mainly snacked on bread and crisps from the garage.
Beach: Like a bomb site.
Center: If you like dining with cats and dogs you will love it although there were some nice buildings.

Basically it was a joke, we got through it by laughing at how it looks like a text book holiday from hell!!!

This hotel has no right to call itself 3 star, family friendly or all inclusive. The food is not edible, it is served over and over again is never hot and is left hours before meal times exposed to the cats and flies in the dinning room. All of our party were ill when we stayed we all had stomach cramps and I spent two days vomiting. The staff do not speak english and are most aggressive. They showed this by never dealing with any complaints and being rude to you when you did complain. Further more they man handling a child who had accidently broken an ashtray and the managment had a fist fight at the poolside which ended in a free for all with the staff joining in. The rooms in the older part of the hotel are filthy with stained carpets and infested beds. I certainly would not recommend that anyone stays there. I am taking the matter further with holiday travel watch and have been told that this can be done collectively for anyone else who is interested.

Booked a two week holiday but was told after three days hotel would close at weekend, brochure boasted an indoor pool,it was drained, a sauna/massage room, it was closed , disco, you guessed it closed. the bar had no stock, the dining room was strewn with empty boxes , there were dirty plates ,glasses and dirty linnen in the hallways, no choice of menu just take it or leave it, I usualy left it. The owners and staff were surly and unhelpful apart from a young waiter who did try his best

The good points were the breakfast which was fresh and plentiful, the room was of a decent siize but sadly our promised view of the pine forrest was blocked by the staff accomodation

If you were going to book here THINK AGAIN....
