“a truly superb week”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

just returned from a lovely week at the papillon ayscha, this was my first visit to here, I have stayed in many hotels across Europe that have claimed to be 5* so it was a pleasant surprise to finally find one that is!

As soon as you walk in to the hotel you are greeted with very friendly staff who throughout our stay could not do enough for us

The rooms like the rest of the hotel are spotlessly clean and was the standard you would expect from a 5* even down to the complementary mini bar that was refilled every day.

The restaurant offered a huge selection of food, meet dishes, pasta , rice fish. salad bars ect ...
it was very easy to find something you were familiar with along with many foods that you were not, the buffet style allowed you to try many new dishes... a very friendly child buffet bar set at a lower level was a great idea....something to bare in mind though is that you will not find your traditional English fry up here, and for some reason the chips are only served Luke warm, The staff are very good clearing empty plates away very quickly....the hotel also offers two additional al a cart restaurants, we ate in the Turkish one and had a great meal

The daytime entertainment was just starting to pick up I can imagine in the height of the season this would be lively....the night time entertainment was OK but could have done with a longer karaoke!!!!

The outside gardens and pool area are huge and once again spotlessly clean at the back of the pool area is your private beech that was laid out with plenty of sunbeds

inside the hotel you will find a fully equipped gym a big indoor pool with a jacuzzi {started by a button on the floor} took me ages to find it!, the sauna and Turkish bath are both located opposite the gym once again spotlessly clean.

on the lower level was a games area that had pool tables internet cafe and a card/dominoes tables area... the ten pin bowling was a bit of a shame as it was broken for the duration of our week

Thank you to all the staff at the Papillon Ayscha for making my first visit to Turkey so wonderful.

Room Tip: try and book a room over looking the gardens or at leastwere you can sit on your balcony and get som...

After six years of staying at the Papilion Ayscha the standards remain of the highest.

I've been to this hotel in summer 2012 (June), and I do not recommend it to any guests who expect peacefull holidays.
This hotel favors guests from Russia, so do not expect communicative skills in English or German.
Overall quality of the hotel was really mediocre.
Moreover you have to be early at the supper. 20min late and best dishes are already away and they are very rarely replenished. Waiters are not polite and they do not clean tables until the end of supper.
Cuisine was also mediocre (almost everything tastes the same).
You have to wake up early in the morning to 'reserve' beach sunbed - it is prohibited, but noone cares and after 9:00am everything is already reserved.
Hotel is not clean and air conditioning was really poor (it had 2 options: exremely cold - or not working at all).

There are a lot better hotels in Turkey. This hotel should be treated as a cheap **** option in my opinion. Rixos, Vogue Avantgarde hotels offer much better quality and therefore - much better price/quality ratio.

Stayed here for a week in November as part of a golf holiday.
Perfect location if using this Hotel as a base for golfing. Probably no more than 20 minutes drive from all the golf courses.
Is touted as a 5 star hotel, which it probably is, on balance.
The buildings, facilities, pools etc are immaculate.
As with most of the Hotels in Belek, this is All Inclusive.
Plenty of choice, variety and quantity at meal times. I would say that although their was a huge variety of choice at every meal, it did tend to be the same each day, which might beg questions about being repetitive. UK tastes well catered for with huge salad bar, soups, pasta, meat dishes and sweets on offer.
Main dining room open for extended hours, (they kindly let us in hours in advance for breakfast when we had early tee offs), with facilities enhanced by bookable separate speciality restaurants.
Numerous in house bars to choose from. Served by friendly staff.
All local alcohol and soft drinks available all day, without charge, waiter served whenever you want them.
Outdoor pools / bars were being shut down for the end of season when we were there (early November). These are numerous and well maintained.
Room was a good standard. Balcony, bath robes, free mini bar, room safe, fruit bowl and black out curtains all added to the quality of the place. Although its side view on to the adjoining hotel did not provide a great panorama, it was fine for me. Plenty of stunning rooms available at extra cost.
A golf club storage room at the entrance was a welcome facility.
Free wi-fi (at a reasonable speed) was also useful.
Could not say if this Hotel and Belek would be suitable if not golfing? Strikes me as out of hotel experiences / attractions are somewhat limited if not golfing. But hey, I did NOT use use them so may be wrong.
All in all would recommend.

Day 2 still no service from waiting staff. No interest shown. All inclusive concept for winter does not include any local brandy bacardi/rum. Plenty of vodka for the Russians. Food good guest relations listens but has no control as only the GM can make decisions.

Hotel full of people on a conference not seen any other english ( not always a bad thing). Overall very disappointed, having stayed with the papillon group before srandaeds have slipped.

No evening entertainment, no recreational activities after 9pm eg snooker/ pool etc.

Overall not a venue to stay for a group of guys in a golfung trip. No baes available after 12 midnight even for a coffee or water.

Room Tip: Look for other hotels with a better all inclusive concept.

Our one week in February at the resort was exactly what we were looking for at this time of year. Although the outdoor facilities were closed we were able to make use, among other things, of an excellent indoor pool with Jacuzzi . The winter status of the hotel had no bearing on the enjoyment of our short stay. The hospitality and willingness of the staff to anticipate our needs was evident from the time we booked in.The dining room experience was first class - a superb menu wonderfully executed - can't be too complimentary about this. the hotel was clean and very comfortable as was our room. We went prepared with Turkish Lira for spending - better to have euros.

Visited the hotel resort in Dec/Jan 2013 out door pools were shut but a very good indoor pool with jaccuzi, a hammam, a sauna - well equiped gym. A cinema (saw Skyfall). Very easy to walk to Belek town - taxi was quite cheap too. A leisurly walk took about forty minutes. Taxi would take 5 minutes. Food was in vast quantities and lots of choice but not very tasty. Not once did any food run out - it was being constantly replenished. Staff were very good although could not understand English well they tried very hard to communicate.

Room Tip: We were on the 5th floor - mountain veiw. The view of the snow covered mountains was great.
