We have now stayed here twice and each time it's been excellent! clean spacious rooms, vast choice of food and very helpful friendly staff.

Just got back from the Zuegma our first trip to Turkey for Leisure and Golf. Absolutely superb is the best way to describe the whole experience. Golf was great and if you need a company to help you try Bilyana http://www.bilyanagolf.com/.
Hotel food is superb with huge amount of choice and 5 a la carte restaurants. There is really nothing I can think of that could have been improved.
Guests are mostly Russian and German.

Husband, myself, daughter,son-in-law and 7yr old grandaughter stayed at Hotel Zeugma in Sept 06 & May 07 and loved it.This year , due to illness our planned holiday in May was postponed until Aug. We worried that it would be too hot and too full & unable to cope. No problem, the hotel coped beautifully, air con very efficient. The management & staff cannot do enough to ensure that your holiday is great.Check in, speedy & Customer Relations Manager always on hand & keen to sort out any little problem you may have.Have been to Belek 12 times and not found a finer hotel than the Zeugma.

Greetings fellow travelers!

This is our 3rd trip to the Zeugma and the 2nd review on this hotel. My other review is posted on 25 Aug 2009.

Our initial plan was either the Xanadu or the Cornelia De Luxe because of the reviews on TA, but were out-voted by the kids because their only concern was the Zeugma Animation Team! Fortunately, we were not disappointed. The Animation Team and evening entertainment as good as before but we saw very noticeable improvements on the food / service quality and as well, guest relations. Congratulations to Can and Baris for the great work!

Do I recommend this hotel or not... I have both stayed and visited many other hotels in the area and here are my 2 cents....

If you are children phobic, well, Belek from June to August might not be your choice of destination. Go in April, May or Sept, October and the Zeugma will be more suitable for you.

If you are a serious golfer, the Zeugma is nice, but I would recommend the Sueno, Gloria, Cornelia or Kempinski.

If drinking A Brand alcohol is an important part of your vacation, well, you may want to look elsewhere but then expect to pay more per night.

If you want seclusion, large size hotel, VIP service, etc., then there are other hotels to satisfy these needs but then expect strange set up where the staff will close off parts of the hotel to cater to the VIP customers and or the "butlers" will get priority at meals to serve the VIP's first. Not our cup of tea.

As for size, for us the Zeugma is just right, not too big, not too small. I have visited the some hotels that boasts of 8 swimming pools! Great stuff, but it is not so easy to keep track of the kids!

If you want a good quality family hotel at a fair price with excellent animation, very good food and service, then I highly recommend the Zeugma. The animation team is a load of fun, but not intrusive. If you don't wish to participate, they wont hound you all day long. The music is acceptable levels, the DJ quite good, but if you want quiet, you can still escape to the beach or to the other pool.

There are enough things to do all day, almost like an adult day camp, if you wish to participate. Lot of laughs. The teen club is also good fun for the kids.

As for evening entertainment, good fun. Some of the shows are pretty damn good, Ball Room dancing or Acrobat show. Lion King and other shows put on by the Animation Team is all done in good spirit so don't expect Broadway production because you really have to put into context the money you pay versus what you get. The sketch night and other "all for fun" shows are a laugh!

The rooms, as per other reviewers, are a bit dated but our Dublex room is nice as we have 2 full baths, enough for 2 adults and 3 teens.

As for the Russians.... well..... what can you say.... they have their culture and their way of doing things. Yes, some, in our eyes, are unbelievably rude but then hey, just sit back and laugh otherwise it would be boring with nothing to complain about....

Will we go back. Very high probability considering when the kids are happy, we are happy. It is hard to beat the value. For the money we paid per night compared to what we get in terms of animation team, entertainment, food, friendly service, set up, room, etc., hard to beat. I have traveled all over the world and the Zeugma is a pretty damn good deal.

we visited this hotel 2 years ago it was fab then although it has a manager change the hotel is still to a high standard they have built a roof over the kids pool this is also an extension to the restraurant which now they have aband playing while eating. the waffles have been replaced with donuts i perfer waffles but many perfer donuts cant please all. its very clean even down to to the catering where gloves are worn when handling food and changed frequently. we had friends come in our second week they were well impressed with it all. the animation team are superb a few of them are from the bevil as we thought we recognised them they put on great shows and are not in your face they ask if you want to join in if u dont they do leave u alone, the russians mainly participated as they are very competitive in there games!!. yes there are alot of russains they didnt bother us no they dont smile and it seems like they have been forced to go on holiday a few were friendly but we just kept our selves to our selves. it wasnt spoilt by the english in there football shirts! and drinking all day .there was only a few english families there mainly repeat guests like ourselves which was nice lets keep it that way!. the beach is cleaned everday think we had the best part if u walked along the beach from other hotels seemed stonier and not as nice . the food is great cant fault it only that the fish night last time we went they had a huge fish display this year none of that but variation was good as most nights something for everyone our friends daughter is a veggi and they thought she may have trouble but no loads of veggi food to. we had the chinese and mexican both really good we tried to get in the med but it was all booked as there was 8 of us and it was our last night it was dissappointing i pointed it out to the guest relations manager who is really helpful and friendly and speaks really good english he said he would try and sort it but unfortunaltly because there were so many of us couldnt he said he would get us in the next eve but we were going home our friends stayed another 5 days they managed to go and said it was very nice instead he gave me a papillon bag which was very nice. if u drink wine which i dont they only do house which my friend who drinks wine didnt like much again the guest manager said he would sort her out very nice nice guy he even came and shook our hands and and said goodbye in the reception when we departed. The spa is relaxing u can use the steam and sauna and turkish steam rooms for free any treatments will need to be payed for very nice though. the rooms are very nice the carpets are getting a bit worse for wear but still cleaned to a high standard we had a duplex very nice. we did hear from another english couple that the hotel may close to renovate the rooms and make them more updated ie flat sreen tvs etc new carpets not sure how true this is. if they do threy will probally put their roomrates up!! . our kids loved it no problems with them ages 12 and 14. again cant fault the hotel sometimes there was a language barrier when odering drinks which become quite funny as we never knew what we would be getting even if we did order a vodka and sprite i would get either a vodka with mint? straight ot just a sprite on its on but we just laughed about it and reorderd hey ho we are in turkey not england!! loved every minute and will be going back out oF the 2 HOTELS the bevil or zeugma def the zeugma as we have stayed at the bevil 2 times also. the ascha we went to which is down the road from the zeugma but didnit look as nice around the pool etc. if u go into belek take the tractor which stops outside the hotel its only a euro each cheaper than a cab and more fun u sit on the trailer and drops u staight into town not to his cousins shop!! all in all fanastic time see the zeugma next year!!

From the bourne family
Went to this hotel 2 years ago and although if has a manger change the hotel is still at high standard the food you cannot fault. It's actually got better for choice during the day. The al a carte restrurants are still a night mare to book we managed the Mexican and Chinese but this was it both really lovely. We had friends come our second week they are still there they are lovin it the only thing they had a problem with was the wine they only do one house brand which is like a chardaney I don't drink wine so for me not a problem but my friend who loves her wine found it a problem but the guest relation manager is lovely and said he would sort her out and because I we could not get booked in the mediterian restrurant he gave me a papailion bag he lovely all the staff are friendly sometimes u don't get the drink you ask for but we found that quite funny and hey we are in turkey not England. There are a lot of Russians and yes they ard rude and don't smile u would think they were made to go on hol!! But they didn't interfere with us but they are very competitive when playing games so quite funny to watch. We had a duplex room very nice but I think they are getting dated now but we were told do
Time this year they will be renovating the rooms and closing the hotel to do this no doubt Ghent they may put there room rates up!! All in all can't fault it wr are going back next year if not doubled in price!! If you go into belek use the tractor it's 1 euro and it picks you up outside hotel rather than a taxi. It's all very clean no cats no dogs no insects no flys they are always cleaning and all the managers are on the ball when some food is dropped or a glass is broken it's cleaned immediately. The entertainment team are brilliant some of them have come from the papilon bevil we have stayed there twice also but prefer the zeugma. They are not pushy if u don't want to join in they leave u alone. Yet again it's a fab hotel we had a fab time the food is great none of us had a bad tummy in the 2 weeks we were there nor did we when we stayed 2 years ago. Please go and find out for yourself as we are rating it as a five star it's paradise! Oh and visit the spa even if u don't want to pay for any treatments u can still use the steam rooms and sauna very relaxing at the if the day.
Again the perfect break from the bourne family London England

We were for the fourth time at Zeugma and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. All is perfect, food is excellent, entertainment team is great and all personnel is very kind to us. Every night is a show at the amphitheater and at day time is an entertainment program at the pool. We were treated like kings all 12 days we stayed there. A special mention for guest relation manager Mr.Baris Becerik, who treated all the guests with maximum attention and kindness. I just wait to come back next year.
