“Loved it!!”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

We visited the Arcadia between 11th May and 18th May as a family of 5 ( childrens ages = almost 6 and 3).

The Hotel was spotless and we had a family room which consisted of a double room for me and my husband, my eldest in a single room and my youngest in the lounge area. The room was huge with two balconies over looking the kids club park and football fields.

The kids club was amazing with different activities every half hour. My girls dipped in and out of these including cookie making, mini golf, pizza making, mini darts, painting, arts and crafts, kids bbq and loads more! The staff working at the kids club were great with all of the children and very friendly - nothing was too much trouble.

There was an endless supply of food all day including a buffet breakfast, pancakes, pizza and pasta bar, and beach bar selling chicken nuggets and burgers etc, a patisserie, ice cream, lunch time buffet and evening buffet. There was so much on offer you couldn't go hungry and my children were both very happy with the choices.

The pools were all lovely although we stayed around the children's pool (right next to the kids club).

We also spent a day on the beach as 'Sultans for the day' which cost an extra 45euros but was great with our own private bed and area on the beach with waiter service which I would recommend.

All in all this was a great family holiday and we all loved it - just wished we had stayed longer! :)

Room Tip: We had room 2106 which was fab - not too many stairs and very convenient location.

Just returned from 11 night stay at Limak Arcadia - (6th-18th May). Our hotel room was more than sufficient for us, with a double bed, double sofa bed & single sofa bed - even though we hadn't paid extra for a family room. The view was overlooking the sports pool. There is complimentary WIFI which was occassionally a bit hit & miss but generally worked fine. There are also internet terminals for a fee (5 Euros for an hr).

Food was excellent - it is the same most days but there is such variety we did not get bored of the choice. Aside from the main meal times there are also snacks available throughout the day. (ice cream/waffles/pastries/cakes).

Our 2 girls - 4 1/2 & 3 loved the childrens pool, playground & all the activites put on by the entertainment team. There are different activites planned everyday. Some activites we did have to pay for, but the vast majority of activites are included. There is a Kids Club building with play areas/colouring/ball pool/puzzles which children can play with even if they don't want to join in the organised activities (as was often the case with our youngest). The Kids Club entertainment team (Luba/Tatiana/Kemel/Ania) are there every day & our children got to know them well & feel safe. Before the evening entertainment each night there is a Kids Disco for about 20mins which is also great fun!

Evening entertainment was superb. There were dance shows, games nights, visiting groups (Traditional Turkish Dancers/African musicians/dancers) & the entertainment team's own versions of well known shows (The Lion King/Michael Jackson - This is it tour). Many of the entertainment team are clearly trained dancers & the standard of their performances are much better than you would expect from a hotel team.

We had a great time & have already had a conversation along the lines of "shall we just go back there again next year?" it was THAT good.

Room Tip: If you can get a room in the main building, you'll save yourself a fair bit of walking!

Like previous reviewers we found this hotel excellent in every way. Clean and attractive with great service at all times of day and night; good quality food and beverages in restaurants and bars with plenty of choice - served always by unfailingly cheerful and helpful staff.

The facilities great for families and couples and the grounds and beach are beautiful and well maintained.

We have just come back from a week in Belek and it was fantastic. We flew out of Manchester on the 2nd of May for a week.

We arrived at the Arcadia at about 22:00 local time. We were shown to our rooms and also told our way to the restraunt, her there was hot food for us.

When I got into my room it was no where near big enough for me, my wife and my three children (this was down to holiday company not the hotel). We where shown a new family room which was lovely and spacious.

The room had a double bed, two single beds, a bed settee and a folding chair bed. The bathroom was very modern with a 1700mm shower cubicle a wall hung WC and vanity basin unit. The room was equipped with a flat screen TV, air con, a mini bar and a generous sized terrace. The rooms decor was bright and fresh with wall art of butterfly's along one of the walls. There was three single wardrobes with a safe inside which was free and the wardrobe had plenty of hangers. The second single bed was in a separate part of our room with a modesty screen in front of it, which our 13 year old son liked.

The hotels grounds are kept beautifully. The staff are constantly working on them to ensure they look fantastic. The flowers and wildlife added to the enjoyment of our stay, the children loved the turtles walking around the grounds.

The food was good and the children didn't complain once about the food which is a good sign.

Breakfast was in the main room, you then had ladies making pancakes at 11 is the coffee hut at 12 beach bar food opened McArcadia which served fast food chips, burgers, hotdogs, kebabs, fish fingers etc......another dining room opened at 12:30 next to the ampere theatre which served fried chicken, pizza and lovely fresh salads. There was cake at another part of the hotel served all afternoon with ice cream readily available for the kids.

The entertainment was good, games always going on but you were never harassed into taking part but there ware always people ready to join in. I took part in the mechanical bull and failed miserably. There is a football pitch, tennis courts, pitch and putt, outside chess, kids parks, kids clubs, shops and a golf course just outside of the hotel. After tea one night a market set up in the hotel grounds which we all enjoyed.

The pools and water slides were always good fun, there are three slides in one pool, an ice statue with various small pools inside it, a babies pool a sports pool with basketball and water polo and another main pool not to mention the sea which was next to the pools!

We walked into Belek on day and ad a quick look around but there was not much there, this was he only time we left the complex as we felt there was enough there for a weeks worth of activities.

The holiday was great and really good value for money.

The only thing I would mention is I thought that the bar staff could of made a little more effort in interacting with us. All of the hotel staff work non stop and were very friendly but I just thought the bar staff were not really interested (maybe they are just sick of bad manners from other nationalities????)

I would happily recommend this hotel, you would not be disappointed if you book.

Just one last note there are a few restraunts to eat from for 8euros per person, kids are free. Chinese, Italian, Japanese, BBQ and BBQ on the each that is 35 euros per couple. We only tried the Chinese but it was well worth the money.

Thank you for a great holiday

Room Tip: All rooms were good which i seen. The maids work very hard and make the rooms up lovely.

The Arcadia reviews I had read before staying there (April 2013) were a real help so I hope my review helps others...it's a great, clean & well organised hotel. The standard of everything is really brilliant. The food was amazing. Excellent range of dishes, clean & abundant. Tastes to suit all. All staff work extremely hard.

The animation team are exactly that..."animated". Their evening shows are really good & the "This is it" Michael Jackson tribute was spectacular!

The Guest Relations team are excellent, I particular give thanks to Yigit & Hasan for ironing out a few minor issues. Definitely speak up if you experience anything not to your liking, no matter how insignificant you might find it, they really do aim to please & are more than happy to help you have the best possible experience..

There's a great Saturday market in Belek from 10:00 & it's a 10 minute walk. There are lots of 'genuine fake' shops selling copies of designer handbags and clothes in Belek too. Some of the handbags are very expensive so haggle and remember there are different qualities.

Only two of the a la carte restaurants were open in April at the hotel. The Italian was excellent & we went three times! The Chinese was disappointing if you're used to British Chinese as they have a Turkish chef so I would give that a miss as it really wasn't good.

The outside areas are great & the pools are awesome (albeit too cold for me!) but my 7 & 13 year old daughters had a blast, made lots of friends while my mother & I languished under the canopies next to the photographs hut! They had a beautiful photo shoot done... I paid £300 for the shoot which included a CD with 154 photo's, a DVD, 10 prints, 1 enlarged print of my choice & a photo-book album which is a beautiful memento with about 70 shots of them.

Definitely try a gozleme (Turkish bread/pancake) from the Turkish ladies that make it in the gardens. Delicious.

Finally, just to prove it was truly ace... We are going again next Easter. Cannot wait dot com!

Our Chinese chef is now back from his holiday so we hope that our Red Wok restaurant food and service will be back to its best!

Our outside disco is the last thing remaining until we are fully open for summer, and we look forward to welcoming everyone who has booked to come in the next few months. For the rest of you, we do fill up early so please make your 2014 reservations as soon as possible!

What a fantastic hotel. We stayed here for one week 2-9th May 2013, this hotel is a great place for adults and kids alike. there was six adults and three children in our party, and everyone of us really had a brilliant time.
Rooms were all beautiful, lovely bathrooms, fresh towels every day, bathrobes, slippers and toiletries provided. Beach towels also provided and you can change them for fresh ones everyday.
the food was excellent, a huge choice of quality fresh food everyday, whenever you were hungry there was always somewhere to get something to eat.
Drinks were good too, not just local brands, you could get champagne and cocktails too, which were mostly pretty decent.
the staff were all lovely, very hard working, and the hotel is a credit to the management team, very very clean and well looked after. There was always someone going around picking up litter tidying communal areas and even sweeping sand off the walkways between the beach and the beach bar .The entertainment was great, we saw some brilliant shows, although we missed Mamma Mia due to our flight delay and we also missed the Lion King because it was on the day we left, which was a shame, but we did see good shows on the other nights we were there.

All in all a great holiday, kids were catered for there was always something going on for them, and food that they liked. They all loved the pools and the slides and were in there nearly all day, because it was so hot, 42-47 C on every day we were there apart from the last day which was a it cloudy but still in the 30s. It didn't get cold at night either staying at a very nice 29 C.
We are all in agreement that we will go back.
One thing worth a mention, be a Sultan for a day, hire a beach room/tent the nine of us hired one, you get to use it from 8am to 6 pm waiter service all day, brings you food , drinks ice cream. there is a mini fridge inside and comfy beds and pillows to lie on , there is a little area on one side with sunbeds table and chairs and an umbrella to shade you, the room has curtains all around it and it is a lovely way to spend a luxurious day being waited on, and it only costs 55 Euros.
The only thing that spoilt the holiday? Rude Germans and Russians who treated the staff horribly never a please or thank you passed their lips and that was the only thing we disliked.

Room Tip: We stayed above the terrace bar , I thought it would be noisy, but by about 11.30 all was quiet, our...

We went to the Arcadia in November, so out of season and did have a couple of wet days. The hotel was beautiful, in a great location and the food was fantastic.

Our room was great (a family room, so we had loads of space) but it could be a little slippy over the bridges with the rain.

My only complaint would be that some of the guests from other countries could be quite rude and pushed in front of us a lot for food and drinks!

It was so good that we tried to book again for this year and found it to be fully booked very early on! Well deserved #2 hotel.
