“FANTASTIC HOTEL WITH GREAT STAFF”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2010

I have just returned from 2 weeks all inclusive holiday with my wife at this hotel and can only say good things about it. We were initially nervous as we had never been to Turkey or gone all inclusive before but our worries were banished the moment we arrived. Our room was excellent with 2 large beds, flat screen tv, lots of storage, etc and a great view from our balcony. The hotel is meticulously clean and tidy with beautiful gardens and pools. The facilities are good with plenty of sports, games etc and the entertainment was good. There were shows almost every night in the amphitheatre and bands later on in the Neptune bar which was our favourite, right next to the beach. The food is excellent at the hotel with an enormous variety of things to suit all types. The a-la-carte restaurants are a must to go to, by far the best meals especially the Asian restaurant the Garuda.

We really have nothing to complain about at all. Everything was just fantastic.
Good room, good food, good service, good entertainment! Highly recommend a visit to the Far East Restaurant the food really is something else here, just beware that any bottles of wine are not free and will be charged, if you dont want to pay go for the wine by the glass! The sunbathing and swimming off the jetty is also brilliant!!!
So if you are looking for an all inclusive holiday with 5star trimmings then go for it!!!

Went back to the Gloria Verde this year because we enjoyed it so much last year. Took my son's girlfriend with us this time too. Wonderful hotel and some beautiful views, gardens and pools. Our friend held a wedding blessing at the pavillions and we had a fantastic day. The hotel had never held anything like this before and there were one or two unfortunate errors made but nothing that wasnt resolved with customer services and the restaurant manager. On the day of the blessing the hotel could not have done more for us and we had a lovely meal in the asian restaurant in the evening. They sent flowers to the "brides" room and even changed their bed to satin sheets with rose petals sprinkled all over it - a lovely touch and even treated them to a meal at the sister hotel "the Serenity". The local newspaper even came to the wedding as the hotel had never held anything like this before - Im sure they will in future thou ! We dont particularly enjoy the entertainment at the hotel but that's just our thing - always something for people to watch - there shows at the ampitheatre and always something going on at the beach bar. tWill definitely go back to the Gloria and recommend it to others.

Travelled with my husband and our 22yr old disabled son. We had a room for 3 adults and our son was on a small fold up bed which had a good mattress and was quite comfortable., We had a large double bed each. Wardrobe space could of been better for 3 people. Fridge was very handy and was replenished every day, would of liked tea making facility. Nice touches bath robes each, slippers and bath/shower gels re-stocked daily. What the brochure doesn't tell you is a steep hill to the pool area, which is a good workout for your calf muscles, but if like us you had a wheelchair was impossible.
So you then have to get reception staff to transport you to the pool area on a golf buggy and try and get a staff member at the end of the day to again get reception staff to come and collect you.this was also necessary for the shows in the ampitheatre.Plus make sure you take mosquito spray as this hotel as nice as it is, surrounded by lush trees and greenery, so mega bites!! Food good and plentiful, although all the 'themed' nights, food looked similar, and chips, chips and more chips! Desserts though FAB.
Swimming pools excellent and lovely and clean.Belek itself is rubbish and just full of tshirt shops, not even a nice bar to have a drink in.Lots of turkish men sitting outside their shops trying to entice you in, offering you coffee, tea etc.

March was our first visit to Turkey and a rare trip just as a couple. Took the advise we'd read and booked all inclusive which certainly enhanced the relaxed, no worrries atmosphere to our stay. All facilities at the Verde were certainly 4 star, verging on 5 stars. The a la carte restuarants were an excellent contrast to the main restaurant but the quality and choice of food was always to a high standard. The resort was, as expected, fairly quite in early March, the only downside to our stay was not realising beforehand to book tee times as the golf was extremely popular.

Haven't stayed here this year due to lack of places in the desired timeframe but spent there almost all the time because my son remembered the playground and the nice lawns and the golf cars :). Services are great, place is very well kept, facilities for kids are great. Next year I'll try to get there.

My wife and I visited this holiday resort for only four days which passed too quickly unfortunately. The hotel is half of the size of the many other resorts in Belek, which was one of our main reasons to choose it. The most important thing about this hotel is its high quality of service. I have been to many five star hotels and at least five other "high quality" holiday resorts. The quality of service exceeds anything I have seen before. Every member of the service team -from the receptionist to the room service- is very polite, very helpful and very diligent. I strongly recommend this resort to anyone who wants a quite and comfortable vacation.

The resort consists of a large hotel building of five floors, surrounded by very tall pine trees and beautiful green lawn. The beach is about 5 minutes away from the building, and you pass over the large beautiful pools while walking to it. The beach is not impressive but has a large pier, and a close by bar. The bar makes delicious cocktails, and there are plenty of places you can sit while sipping your drink and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

We were on an all-inclusive plan, which I recommend to anyone who drinks at least one cocktail or eats at least one lunch during their stay. Be aware that Belek is far away, and you cannot find many good places there. The buffet breakfast is splendid as is at any other resort in Turkey. The buffet dinner also has anything you might desire and each of the dishes is delicious. However, a la carte restaurants by and far are much better. There are French and Far East restaurants, which serve wonderful and delicious food. You can visit each once a week so reserve your space immediately after you check in.

The room is of good size with large bed, 32'' LCD TV with many satellite channels, and a large safe which can hold small laptops. The bathroom is also of good size, there are many amenities from shavers to tooth brushes. The room service visits twice a day, once in the morning and once during your dinner time to clean up after you took your shower. Wonderful! The previous comments are right, the bed is very hard. Healthy but we asked for a mattress pad after we moved in.

There is live entertainment at the bar, but they usually play oldies. At the sister resort Gloria Serenity, there are more shows, one of which is Fire of Anatolia. This is a must see when you are there. There is a scheduled shuttle service between all sister resorts.

The only negative thing is the spa, which is small and very expensive. When we were there 80% of the guests were young Russian families with small children, and the rest were over middle age couples.

I strongly recommend this resort if you have small children, or if you enjoy a comfortable, quite and restful vacation. You cannot find anywhere else with better quality of service.
