We (Myself, husband and the kids) have stayed in burgau a couple of times, but this was the first at these Apartments. We often sat on the beach looking at these and had eaten in the restaurant on a few occasions. The restaurant had a Portuguese Elvis night which was hilarious... the whole restaurant were dancing and I even got a signed CD.
We are a young family and I have to say how welcoming the village is to children. It's really nice that there aren't any nightclubs. Whenever we booked a table in a restaurant they always asked how many highchairs - it just made it more relaxed! I was a little concerned as I thought the children would be bored. Apart from the beach, there are walks and a sports centre nearby - however, we did need to branch out further a field. There are a few water parks and a sea world type place called Zoomarine. Luz has a larger beach with more sports.
The apartments were just lovely.. and the on site staff were helpful. There was no microwave in the apartment (an essential when you have a baby!), we asked and the next morning one arrived. The Manageress also took our babies clothes away and washed them for us!
I cannot rate these apartments enough. we will be going back :-)More
