Superbe view from the terrace. Beautiful agro-landscape and a view on the Ocean. Very quiet neighborhood, located at a traffic-low secondary road.
Staff en service were excellent. Breakfast was marvelous, lunch was tasty. Staff was very friendly, discrete and helpful.
Be well aware that you need a car to get around. Most close restaurant is at 2 km's of distance.

Herdade do Touril is a fabulous place, perfectly located and with fantastic accommodation. The staff and all the service was truly 5 stars and we loved our stay. We spent 5 nights at the Herdade and for sure we will come back on a next visit to Zambujeira do Mar. Really a wonderful stay!

We took our parents here this time, and they adored it. We have also stayed twice at the Herdade and as ever, it was wonderful. Our favourite hotel in our favourite place in the world! The food is very good - a better menu than last time we stayed too, the service excellent, and in general, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. There are endless things to do in the area - a car is a big must, of course. But the morning walk before the delicious breakfast to the cliffs is really worth it!

Perfection! This agrotoursimo in is perfectly located, in the quiet of the Alentejo countryside and easy walking distance of the fanstastic cliff walking of the Costa Vecentina. The rooms are largely located in several separate buildings and the one we stayed in was large (including the bathroom), light and well furnished (in modern style), with ample storage and a large patio. We were greated warmly and offered cold drinks on the porch while the formalities were being delath with. Breakfast, taken in the main building, was excellent with many local specialities, including irresistible Portugese "custard tarts". The swimming pool with the surrounding lawn and walls is not huge but is also very nice. The staff were very responsive and helpful. The inn does not offer an evening meal but there are two restaurants in the nearby small fishing village (Zambujeira do Mar), which are a short drive away (about Euro 15 by taxi). The restaurant we tried (A Barca) was good, with quite a long menu, some of it unsual. The floor in the room was a little dusty and one of the window shutters had a mind of its own but these are very minor quibbles in what was otherwise a perfect room. We would absolutely stay there again if in the area.

Room Tip: Most of the rooms are in outbuildings, some near the main building but others a couple of minutes walk away on a track (but well-lit at night). The nearby walking along the cliff-tops is very interesting. We think the inn offers bicycles for free.

Loved my stay at the Herdade. The location is absolutely amazing! Vast farmland ending at these amazing cliffs by the ocean. I could not believe my eyes. The sand looked like it had never been touched by a human. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. They offered to pack sandwiches for us to take to the beach. Breakfast outside is a must. The local beach is now my favorite in Portugal. I can't wait to return. My 13 year old daughter loved it.

Room Tip: There are 5 houses in the property, ask for the ones closest to the pool/restaurant. They do have bicycles you can use.
