my wife & i discovered this small, unassuming establishment some time ago, and their cuisine has never wavered from its authenticity. the owner/chef is Singaporean, and gets his "special" spices directly from Singapore. The ambience is informal, and the proliferation of knick-knacks that you can buy (e.g. humidifiers, speakers for mp3 players, toys) only enhances the feeling that you're in a family-owned establishment.
we always order the shrimp laksa, and a couple of roti appetizers with the curry dip. Tiger beer for additional Singaporean feeling.
Waitresses in traditional Singaporean sarongs makes me feel like i'm about to board an SQ flight. A nice touch actually.
strike up a conversation with the owner. you'll find him an interesting character.
Parking is a bit challenging, as the front area can only accommodate 2 cars. If you don't mind a parking space that is not directly in front of the restaurant, then you should be okay.
