“Excellent place....great staff !!”
Reviewed June 17, 2011

We had a wonderful time at the Heritage Village Club, Goa.
I would like to express my appreciation to the Hotel staff for their enthusiasm and quick service. The staff were so friendly and efficient, everything we asked of them was completed in such a ready and pleasant manner.
Thanks to the Front office for arranging a comfortable sight-seeing & transfers ; Animation team for the fun games & the evening shows. The Chef and his staff prepared and presented delicious food, which was enjoyed by all without exception.

We would certainly consider booking again this year and recommend you to other people. Furthermore, a special thanks to Mr. Ganesh Prabhu for spending time with us during the check-out

Thanks again for all you did for us during our stay.

I am looking forward to seeing you in the near future.

Visited this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews. I have got to say that this was the most disappointing visit to Goa (I have travelled to Goa on three previous occasions)
The hotel was average, we had terrible trouble with air conditioning and this was not brought to the management''s attention until the day before we left. He did offer alternatives but was slightly too late.
Please stop people smoking while in the pool!!!!
What a pity the hotel didn't make more of the beach area, I appreciate that there are plans for a further development.
The weather was beautiful and we did have a relaxing holiday but I have to say I would not return

This hotel was fantastic from arrival to departure. Words can't do it justice.
Staff are all so friendly & helpful. For a tip of 8p the staff will love you for your whole stay & make sure you are looked after like royalty.
The room was always immaculately clean (our maid was called Rocky ). Clean towels every day & clean sheets most days. AC included in the price. Kettle in the room. They provided shower gel, shampoo & moisturiser so if you want to travel light you could use these.
We loved the food - we like our curry from an indian restaurant where the emphasis is on taste & quality & this is what we got at this hotel. Some complained that the food was not hot enough as they normally like a vindaloo & chips.........need I say more???? (chips were only spotted on the menu once in 2 weeks which suited us) Choice at the buffet was plentiful & there was always a dish from another country (eg beef wellington, pasta, bolognaise etc). Unless your kids like pucker Indian cuisine I wouldn't reccomend this hotel as there is no special provision for childrens food. The chefs will also make food to your requests.
Towels were provided for the sun loungers everyday. Parasols & sun loungers were in plentiful supply.
I can reccomend the trip to Kola beach - don't be put off by the thought of sleeping in a tent on a beach - they are all en suite & immaculately clean.
We also went to the Taj Mahal. Don't be put off by the travel time to get there - it is so worth it when you see it.
The hotel provide drinking water from a water cooler. We all drank this when we were there & none of us were poorly.
We also went up the coast to the market. Although it isn't supposed to open until midday we went in the morning & got everything we wanted. By midday it was scorching hot, horrendously busy & not very pleasant!! the only toilet in the market is a hole in the floor. So take a few baby wipes - you will need one over your nose & enough to washyour hands with!! There is a shop at the hotel & they have stalls set up regularly - the goods are the same as at the market, the prices are comparable, they are not as busy & you are near to a proper loo!!
There is a spa there which we didn't bother with - the hotel barber (Ramprakash) is much cheaper & exceptionally good. I paid less than £10 & got a head massage better than one I paid £30 for in the UK. My husband had a back massage & thoroughly enjoyed it. He also had a hair cut which was also very good & exceptionally cheap.
The departure from the airport was the only thing that let this holiday down - security is so tight it takes forever & there is no formal queue system so it is chaotic. The hotel is only a cheap taxi ride from the airport. All of us from our hotel said if we ever returned we would get a cab & beat the mad rush. Apparently you can't spend ruppees as you leave its sterling at the airport - but I can't verify that as we didn't get chance to buy anything. We paid extra for premium class & although we had a separate q at check in, it still took forever & there was no priority at security.

Thoroughly enjoyable trip, neat and clean well maintained rooms, good housekeeping staff. Cordial and helpful Front office team, good variety of food and tasty too. The teams smiling face along with the restaurant teams positive approach has made the stay a blessed one. Thanks to all.

Awesome place, if you want a break from the routine - main advantage is the fully included food which reduces the trip to hunt for restaurants. Just dip in the pool all day or enjoy the arossim beach few minutes away!
Great folks who pamper you all through and some programmes arranged daily keeps kids too happy! :)

I think the title should say it all. I had a great stay at this hotel. Travelled with Family the staff at the hotel made our stay so comfortable. The pool is good and clean. I must compliment for their meals. They have a very lavish layout with variety of cuisine.
Must stay at this hotel when in Goa.

The best hospitality you can ever expect.. I love the place. Right from the General Manager Guitry, to the Reservations Managers Mc Eugen and Ganesh, to the receptions Manager Anne, to the F&B Managers Nancy & Francisco to all the animators, they all are extremely hospitable and make you feel like family. The entertainment is great, with Joaquim and Emanuel singing all our requests, and not to forget Santosh the magician.
I usually stay in the Design rooms which I love. The pool is always clean, though unfortunately I am not able to get in due to my physical disability.
It is an all inclusive package. Absolute Value for money. Dont think twice.. You will always come back...
