Description: Closed for the season. A new eatery that specialises in salads, steaks and burgers has opened up by the Baga river on the Baga-Arpora road. All the burgers here are cheese stuffed and served with thrice cooked French fries and home-made bacon or chillie jam. The fresh green salad comes loaded with the goodness of feta, praline, fresh fruit and avocado. The steaks are served with six different kinds of sauces, mashed potato and boiled veggies. What's more the setting of this quaint cafe, takes one back in time-to the quiet Goa, where one could sip on beer and enjoy the tranquillity Goa was known for.

A trip to the beautiful state of Goa always tags a list of must-do things! I visit Goa every year (being a Goan from Bombay). To satiate my hunger pangs I follow my list of must-visit restaurants and street corners in goa. This list saw a new and delicious entry of 100 pillows Café. This place perfectly captures the essence of goa. From the ambience to the food and service, everything makes you want to stay and unwind – the perfect feeling a city person would want to experience! From their breakfast to brunch and lunch, the menu has a variety of dishes that will whet your appetite. The steaks are a must-try while the succulent prawns cannot be skipped. The bacon, onion and chilli jam with dill bread is perfect for anytime in the day! Next time you plan a trip to goa, make it a point to visit 100 pillows café where there’s no room for disappointment!

A trip to Goa over the weekend seemed like a good idea. Well, turns out it was a brilliant idea. I've been craving a great beef steak for a while now. I've been working in Mumbai for five years now. I'd heard a lot about Goa and wanted to see the place for myself. Was this paradise? An overwhelming yes. Beautiful pristine beaches aren't guaranteed anymore, Not unless you're willing to explore a bit. Food though, well my weekend was spent almost entirely at the Cafe trying different items on the menu.

A friend of mine had recommended this restaurant to me and as it turns out, i wasn't disappointed. The food is incredible, the steak was just right; the burgers allow you to indulge in sin and feel good about it. The owners are a brilliant at making you feel comfortable.Lazing by the river, i watched life pass me by. One of the best weekends i've ever had came to an end though. Sadly, I had to say my goodbye to the Baga river and the wonderful people i'd met as Monday neared.

I'll be back soon though. The cafe is the perfect place for me to unwind and indulge in my favourite pastime. If you head to Goa anytime soon, you need to make some time for 100 Pillows, you won't be disappointed.

Food in Goa is a term best understood by hard core foodies. It fires up the taste buds & indulges all the senses. Being served bad or average food when in goa is short of a crime.

To eat at 100 Pillows Cafe means you're in the company of a couple who KNOW & LOVE food & when it comes served with cold beer - rest assured you're well taken care of.

Move over Martins.

I have been a frequent visitor to Goa and have seen it deteriorate consistently - more commercial, more crowded, more noisy - until i walked into 100 pillows. It brought back memories of the Goa i first visited 20 years back. Peaceful, serene, picturous and mouth watering food. If you go to Goa, then make sure you step into 100 pillows and soak in the true Goan experience!

Simple, rustic with an old world charm. One of few places that knows how to make a steak medium-rear. The cheese filled burgers were a bit too large for the kids to finish, but served with an egg on top, they enjoyed making a eggy and cheesy mess on their plates. The green salad was yummy and freshly made without an over dose of dressing. Value for money with friendly hosts.
