We had a wonderful stay. Neil and Trudie were so friendly, helpful and made our stay such a pleasant experience and the breakfast was delicious. Two wonderful staff members, will definitely return. Thank you.

I arrived at The Habit feeling not all well. Immediately, I was made welcome and our hosts were anxious throughout our stay to help. The sorroundings are quiet and restful. We were sorry that we were only staying one night.

We have stayed at The Habit for eight years and have always loved it. We are from the UK and if we fly overnight it is a short first journey from Cape Town Airport ( or the same if departing). Judy and Bridget have created a wonderful and most comfortable guest house. We like to start with three nights or so here and we are always very warmly welcomed and made to feel that we have arrived to superb South African hospitality. The Habit has character, is comfortable and clean and welcoming and if you arrive from Europe in winter it is exceptional, a super pool and garden and a supply of local wine and all your cares and thoughts of winter melt away! A splendid place and lovely people. Exceptionally good if you are on business too!

Room Tip: All rooms are good and have character, ask when booking.

We spent seven days at this delightful establishment in the heart of Worcester at the close of 2013. Grant and Amy were splendid hosts and assisted us with directions to places and some valuable local insights. We found the room comfortable and the linen was fresh every day. The breakfast buffet was a delight with the cooked breakfast the highlight. I recommend The Habit to any traveller for a long or short stay. We will certainly stay there again.

Centrally situated in Worcester, within walking distance of the shopping area. We spent a single night and were welcomed by Judy and two Rhodecian ridgebacks. The room was large with a double bed, DSTV and comfortable couch and table and chairs. The room was clean and well furnished. It was very cold, luckily the bed comes with an electric blanket which kept us warm. We were woken by the birds and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast prepared by the owners. Great and friendly service, we will return.

Room Tip: Room no 6 was great

What an absolutely fabulous place to spend the night! Warm welcome, very hospitable hosts Bridget and Judy, make one feel totally relaxed and at home. Very comfortable room where everything worked perfectly, lots of lovely hot water, excellent linen. Immaculate, tranquil garden and a super breakfast. We really can recommend this guesthouse, as well as Fowler's restaurant nearby for a great steak or seafood.

Room Tip: We had a lovely quiet garden facing room

Over time I have become very sceptical about the well-known 'wheelchair sign' that indicates whether an establishment is considered accessable etc. With so many diverse disabilities represented amongst travellers, it must be appreciated that it is difficult to have an establishment that is truly accessable for all. The Habit may not have this sign up to describe its facilities and services but hosts Bridget and Judy prove, by their caring acceptance and willingness to go all the extra miles, that accessibility and 'disability friendly' is indeed a matter of attitude more than facilities. Thank you for the freedom to ask for help - and that you did not 'faff'. Martha

Room Tip: Room 3 - Judy had warned of morning noise from the street due to the school oppposite but this reall...
