very inimate. we felt very special, only 16 people per night so its not crowded. Arrived and spent the afternoon watching rhino from our sweet little house, it was magical. The evening consisted of a nature walk which was fasinating and then a barbque with the group. The staff were great and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The safari the next morning was much more than I expected, we were so close to all the animals - too close to the lions !!!!! but amazing. The atmosphere at fairy glen was very relaxed, very romantic.

Where do I start? The cabins were fine at first glance, then we found that the whole house was full of ants. The double bed in our cabin was 140cm wide and very uncomfortable. Nature Walk was a joke, and the safari was horrible. The area in which animals are in is very small and it feels more like you're at a bad zoo. The staff knew very little about the animals and referred to what they had seen on YouTube. They do not have the big five as they write on their website.
This place is really bad!

If you're going to say something good about Fairy Glen, the food was surprisingly good and the service at the restaurant was quite okay.

The Fairy Glen Resort in Worcester South Africa( Western Province) is about an hour drive from Cape Town. It's a beautiful private game reserve that will offer you a pleasant /relaxed experience with game viewing. The guide was attentive and patient --allowing you to pause as much as necessary to enjoy the animals and capture the breathtaking views!

After you have returned from your safari, a lovely generous buffet -style meal is served. Tourists get a chance to socialize and share stories about the safari. My favorite dessert dish was the Malva Pudding.

The gift shop is lovely too. Two local artists were present and provided a range of paintings depicting the South African culture and geography.
