Set among the vineyards in Stellenbosch, the restaurant is easily accessible. Being mid week, it was easy to secure a booking for 3 people.
The menu has a distinct French flavour with a tempting variety of choices, which made final selections challenging.
The waitron - Petro - was knowledgeable as regards the preparation of the dishes, as well as with the wine pairing. When asked, she could provide extra information about the various estates.
She was very attentive without being intrusive. On a previous visit the waitron was less impressive, but this did not detract from the quality of the food.
Summertime can see a very full restaurant, and for locals this is an ideal 'out of season' destination.
